How do I get rid of excessive null ('00') words when reading A-B Flex I/O using DeviceNet?

I'm using NI's DeviceNet hardware and driver software and LabVIEW. On the I/O end I have Allen-Bradley's ADN module connected to Flex I/O. I can configure the module to do what I want, and although the information I need is contained in the data stream reply after the 'Read' request, I only need the first 22 words or so. I'm a Read reply of 256 words. Rockwell has not offered a solution.

This seems to be more of an issue from the Rockwell side of things. The only suggestion I have is to go ahead and receive the entire data stream into an array in LabVIEW, index out what you need and discard what you don't. It seems to me that there should be a way to shorten the frame size (either on the hardware or through RSNetworx/RSLinx)if only the first 22 words are being used. It is also my understanding that 22 words is the maximum number of words that the Flex I/O requires.

You probably have some kind of adware installed, assuming that your Mac is not actually running OS 9 or earlier (systems that date back to the 90s). I'm assuming that the forum choice was an error, as I doubt such an old system would even be capable of properly displaying modern websites. What version of Mac OS are you actually running? Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, EasyFind, instead.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.

I don't recommend it; it's less readable and probably less efficient than the second regex. But both the second and third regexes can be made more efficient by using [possessive quantifiers|http://www.regular-expressions.info/possessive.html] (that whole site is highly recommended, by the way): "<(?:(?!copyright)[^<>])*+>", "");

Quite recently I have been facing severe pop up annoyances on all my web-search browsers (including Google Chrome and Safari). It has come to the point that I rather surf on my little iPhone 5s than on my Apple MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display (Year 2013) Every second mouse click opens up a random tab with advertising/commercial and the usual stuff. Adding to that annoying in-site popups appear on most of the sites all the time. Even when i click the closing cross or the buttton "close this ad" it will just re-appear the next time the page reloads (latest at my next click). It made it so annoying to use my Laptop that I try to avoid working with it in the Internet. Especially with Uni restarting I would appreciate any Help or advice.

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem. You may have installed a variant of the "VSearch" ad-injection malware.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder named "LaunchDaemons" may open. Look inside it for a file with a name of the form
          com.something.daemon.plist
Here something is a variable word, which can be different in each case. It could be "cloud," "dot," "highway," "submarine," "trusteddownloads," or pretty much anything else.
There may also be a file named
           com.something.helper.plist
in the same folder.
If you find files with names that fit the above description, post what you have for "something."
