How do I get rid of Pages 5

I really dislike some of the changes to Pages. Before, I pulled up a report, made my changes, clicked "save as" and checked "make a Windows compatible copy" I typed in the new name and I was finished. Now - I pull up a report, make my changes. Have to click Help. Type in save as. Select save as. Type the new name. Back to file, click to Export to, and then save again. A process that was streamlined to a couple of steps is now VERY ANNOYING! I am going back to the old version.
So - how do I get rid of this version and go back to the previous one? Mac support is pretty much nonexistant.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
You can trash or archive Pages 5.
I suggest also rating/reviewing Pages 5 in the App Store.

I have never experienced this issue and I have had the PageRage Facebook layouts app installed for quite sometime. I would recommend contacting their support to see if this issue is related to them or if its related to Google. Have you tried clearing your browsing history to see if that helps? I want to see my chosen home page when I click on Firefox, but your ad shows up. How do I get rid of it?

When I go to Mozilla Firefox, I always see YOUR page first instead of my chosen home page. This page says "Committed to You, your privacy and an open web under your logo, and in top right corner, it says "See what's New" and it makes me either check "No Thanks" or "Let's go". This is annoying because I really just want my home page when I click on Firefox.
How do I get rid of YOUR page that comes up first? If I can't get rid of this, I plan to no longer use Mozilla Firefox. Please advise. (I would have given you a screen shot, but your system doesn't accept it here)

You can check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure that nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.

Leliforever, cheek you list of installed add-ons, the Ask toolbar can be installed without the users knowledge.

How do I get rid of internet pages restrictions on...

I have a Nokia 2630 and just applied a free-to-try option that gives 30 days free internet for the mobile phone. The bad thing is that I can't open some pages on the net.... It gives me a restriction that says the page was restricted because my profile is a minor profile. Though, I'm not able to get my profile to be adult because I need to be 18 years old, and I'm 16... This is not about porn sites restriction in any way....... It doesn't even allow me to open Facebook.com (or other popular websites)! And some more sites that I used to visit...... Now I got rid of this. How? I use Opera Mini now. Everytime I use it to open a page that was actually restricted for Nokia's browser it works! But there's one more thing, and that is that I can't download anything from the restricted sites because whenever I click download Opera Mini closes and then the nokia's integrated browser opens in order to download anything...
How do I get rid of this? Is there any trick/hack that can get over these restrictions?

You need to contact your network operator. It is them that are imposing the restrictions, not the phone or web browser. Because of the different was that opera works it can get around some restrictions.
The opera browser on that phone doesn't support downloading, thats why it opens them using the default browser.

AFter the latest download, my e-mail service keeps getting a bar at the top "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page". I have to keep hitting the "Allow" link? How do I get rid of this?

Ever since the last update, I'm having problem accessing my e-mail account. I keep getting an annoying bar at the top of the screen "Firebox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." I have to keep hitting the allow button, sometimes twice. And when I do get into the accounts the bar jumps in and out every time I open a new e-mail, or delete and old one.
How do I get rid of this. I've had this account for years, with a very reputable private e-mail provider. This is nuts.

hello tomterrimort, if your manual changes don't 'stick' after a restart of the browser, please look out for any suspicious extensions (like 3rd-party-toolbars or things you have not installed intentionally) presently installed under '''firefox/tools > addons > extensions''' or the programs section of the windows control panel and remove those entries.
in case this doesn't solve the issue please try this: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile folder - "show folder", then a new window will open up. in this window look out for a file named '''user.js''' (it might be used to overwrite your custom settings). in case it is present , delete or rename this file and restart firefox afterwards.

How do I get rid of the 'buump.me' home page? It just keeps coming back.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 OS and my firefox web browser is compromised with this 'buump.me' home page which I can't get rid of. I've been into the cache, deleted all my cookies, manually changed the home page and the backup home page in the preferences folder. Still keeps coming back. I tried this and lost all my bookmarks and stuff! But found them in a backup file.
I've solved the problem by creating a new firefox profile and importing my settings and bookmarks from the old one (carefully, so as not to import the virus as well)
Now the old profile has the virus and the new profile is just fine.
I could just delete the old profile... but I'd love to find out exactly where this buump.me bug is lurking, so maybe I'll keep the old profile for a while and see if I can find half a day or night free for detective work.

How do i get rid of CSS on one page only?

I have a website that is being hosted for me. I want to take
a web page and make an ebay auction template out of it. I can't get
rid of the CSS and it's driving me crazy. Everytime I want to
change the text, it reverts back and posts the CSS code in the
page. I don't want that.
The site uses CSS, and I have not done a website in years and
CSS is still a little french to me & kind of a pain in the ***
since I have not much idea of how it works.
How do I get rid of the CSS for a page within a website that
uses CSS, or am I SOL? Does eBay allow CSS?

From the portion of the code you've sent I can't see anything
apart from the
style for the font, so that itself won't give you 'red text'.
I can only
assume then, that there is something happening when you
upload the page to
the ebay server or whatever.
Sorry I can't help any further, but I'm stumped without any

How Can I get rid of Yahoo home page? Changing home page doesn't work.

A week or two ago, Yahoo started coming up as my home page. No matter how many times I change it back to Bing, every time I bring up Firefox, there is Yahoo as the home page. Changing it back to Bing and clicking ok is not working. I'm getting a little frustrated with this. How do I get rid of Yahoo coming up as my home page when I did not even ask for it?
