How do I get rid of tags blue.kai

Playing words with friends and screen flips to safari blank screen with tags blue.kai n address bar. How do I address this

I guess that disabling the Tracking feature would be useful.

    Hi Heidi,
    Do tou mean it only boors to a blue screnn???
    If 10.7.0 or later...
    Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
    If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

  • How do I get rid of the blue box on my iCal on my iMac?

    When I add an event in iCal, using my iMac, it is highlighted within a blue box on my iMac.  When I add an event using my iPhone or iPad the blue box does not show up on my iMac. How do i get rid of the blue box on my iMac?

    To take a screen shot on your mac: http://www.apple.com/findouthow/mac/#capturescreen
    And then when you reply to a post you click the camera button at the top of the post window to attach an image.
    From your description it sounds like you are adding an event to iCal and it is syncing (which is what its supposed to do).  If you see something in iCal on the Mac and you don't want it there, click on it once and then go to Edit > Delete.
    If you still can't delete that event:
    1. First make an iCal backup:  Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
    2. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
    3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
    Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
    Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
    --- NOTE: To get to "Home > Library" in Lion: Click anywhere on the desktop and then click on the "Go" menu at the top of the computer screen while holding down the "option" key on the keyboard.  You will see "Library" in the menu.
    4. Launch iCal and test.
    If the issue persists:
    1. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
    2. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
    Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
    Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
    Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
    --- NOTE: Removing these files may remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
    3. Launch iCal and test.

    Thanks Meg. Trouble is it disrupts emails addresses being keyed in - that is, not from the Contacts book...
    How so?  You trying to type over it? If you keep typing the addresses drop below to next line.  I have tried and tried to make it disrupt anything without success.

  • How can I get rid of the blue border in Spry collapsible menu

    How can I get rid of the blue border that displays in Safari when I click on the Spry collapsible menu?  Also want to get rid of dotted border that displays in Firefox.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

    Please take a look here http://webaim.org/blog/plague-of-outline-0/
    If, after reading the above, you still want the outline removed the add the following style rule to your document.
    ul.MenuBarHorizontal a {
        outline: none;

  • How do I get rid of the blue text that says no savings found?

    on every site I use these random words are in light blue and if i roll the mouse over it a small box pops up and says no savings found, in the lower right corner says adfull. Is this a firefox thing ( it doesn't happen on IE) if so how do I get rid of it? It is annoying especially appearing on my game site
    I use everyday.

    '''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
    ''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
    * You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
    ''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
    '''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.
    ''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
    ''When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.''

  • How do I get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar which won't go away even after uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox?

    Can't get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar that seems to be just hanging and won't go away. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the bar is still there after 2 days. I updated something (can't remember what!) on I.E., and it had the same blue bar, but it had a box I could x out of so it went away on I.E. I don't know why the blue bar is there on Firefox, as I did the update while on I.E.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == I updated an application while on Internet Explorer.

    Annette,
    #In the menu bar, at the top of the Firefox window, Go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions.
    # Locate ''each ''of the following extensions by name and click the disable button
    #Restart Firefox as prompted and see if the undesired toolbar has been removed.
    #The extensions to disable are: '''Crawler Toolbar''', '''MP3 Rocket Toolbar''', '''MSN Toolbar''', '''Search Helper Extension'''
    If you don't need some / all of those toolbars, consider leaving them disabled.
    You can probably remove these toolbars permanently from Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs.

  • How do i get rid of the blue screen in develop mode, with a big white x in it???  this is on LR6, never had this problem in LR4

    I go to photos i have already modified in LR4, now in LR6 and all i get is an annoying blue screen with a white x in it.  I cannot see my work.  Help!!!!!

    Well, then you have to do without GPU acceleration. For most users, it doesn't seem to represent a big improvement.
    But GPU support in LR is at an early stage, and will probably make more of a difference in future versions.
    You can read more about here: GPU notes for Lightroom CC (2015)

  • How Do I get rid of a blue box around my picture "links"

    Hi,
    I had troubles finding out how to make a menu bar, so I went: insert>image objects> Image Placeholder, I uploaded a button I made at a website.. the image works fine, but somehow I have a blue bar around the image... How do i solve this? Also, how do you insert an interactive image (a button that links to another page on my website?
    Thanks,
    Chris

    In your CSS add:
    a img {
        border: none;
    and the blue box will go away.
    Did you read that post yet?  The purple is just the default color for a visited link, but that code in your CSS will remove all borders from the images with links.

  • How does one get rid of Tags?

    When Mavericks brought us Tags they looked good but over time I've had too many problems.
    There's long been errors. First, some obscure files that I hardly remembered having are tagged; second, when I hit (say) the red button on the left hand side of the Finder, most items shown on the resulting list are shown twice or three times -- and "iPhoto Library" x 3 is pretty big.
    The deal-breaker, however, has been with the ever-reliable backup software SuperDuper.  For slightly easier access, I'd put a red dot by it in Applications, but after backing-up yesterday I found the software had disappeared completely from my iMac — something new and wonderful, tho’ not in a good way. Fortunately there was a copy of SuperDuper in the backup on the external hard disk so I dragged another copy back into Applications.
    Is it possible to disable Tags?
    Thanks . . . Fortes

    Gosh, not what I hoped or indeed expected. For me, Tags is a bit like Launchpad — an add-on I never could get to work right so forgot about. But you’re saying Tags must stay there forever with its assorted collections.
    Of course it’s not always thus. When Apple gave us a new Mail layout, one could keep using the old, then called Classic. And TinkerTool gives one quite a few options. In my tech innocence, I’d also thought there might be a way one could do business via Terminal.

  • 10.3.1.1565 - how do I get rid of awful blue blob in hub home page on Q10

    Really not liking new upgrade
    Hub bottom bar which used to be accessible when required, now fixed and using valuable real estate - have lost a full e-mail summary from bottom of screen which is not good....
    Also - when I use facebook app, if I send my son a message,. soon as I start to type, the auto suggest text bar comes up and cannot see what I am typing unless I scroll and then have to stop typing, start again - total abomination of an upgrade from what I can see.... lack of proper testing and share price will be hit again...
    suggestions, polite ones, always welcome how to resolve these issues

    Hello golfbug72,
    The FB behaviour you are suffering, I sometimes had a similar issue when posting comments to a picture, but it disappeared when I updated the FB app a few weeks ago.
    I surely don't have the issue when sending a message from the Hub to someone.
    FYI my version installed is 10.6.31.2.
    Which version do you have, and can you detail a bit your issue so I can try on my side please?

  • How do I get rid of the Blue line around an image that is a link that only happens after a click?

    This is not the standard link problem. I have already put in: a img { border : none; }
    That took care of not having a blue border around the image all the time.
    My problem is that when I actually click on the image, it flashes with a red outline then turns bright blue and stays there untill I click off the image. Then it turns normal.
    I have gone through the CSS and put (border: none) on everything I can think of. These images are in the sidebar, stacked vertically. Each is a link to a page and they are all doing the same thing.
    I hope someone can help me solve this problem.
    Thanks, Alice

    Try:
    a {
       outline: 0;

  • How do I get rid of this blue circle on the top left corner of my window?

    I had just installed OSX mavericks for my macbook and now whenever I open up firefox there's a weird blue circle in the top left corner of the firefox window.

    The problem appeared today after installing the latest update on MacOS 10.8.5 (which was out for a couple of days/weeks; I don't reboot my system that often). The auto-update of my Firefox is enabled so I don't know exactly when that got upgraded. Current version is 27.0.1. I have the minimalistic theme enabled "Default Mod 28" from http://gpopper.deviantart.com/.
    When I switch to the default theme "Default 27.0.1" from Mozilla, there is no blue circle. When I switch back to the GPopper theme, the blue circle is there again. It is consistently. I would be great to have a Safari-like theme on Firfox, especially for the Bookmarks Toolbar, which is for my preferences too high in the default theme.
