Hi gdav, it depends. If you don't mind having the images compressed and just want to get rid of the messages, you can try to filter or block the script that generates the tooltips. If you want to get the original images, you need to figure out whether you can change the settings in your connection software.
If you search on the following page for AdBlock, you will see a suggestion for one way to filter the script. Note that each ISP might have a different name and address for its script, so you probably need to take a peek at the source code (Ctrl+u) for a simple page, or a few different pages, to spot the one that's coming from your ISP's server.

Actually just turn off "Ask to join networks". Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Ask to Join Networks. This way your wi-fi will still work at home or anywhere that you want to use it but you won't get prompted to join unknown networks.

How do I get rid of the annoying date that shows on my iPhoto screen?
When I open iPhoto and scrool thru my photos a date overlays part of my screen. When I scroll with arrows the date reflects the roll that is in view. When I scroll with mouse wheel the date does not change at all. How can I get rid of that overlay date?
The solution of unchecking "Show scrolling information" works, however, it did not work for me until I closed iPhoto and reopened it.

Every time I log into anything, I get a prompt in a box in the upper portion of the screen asking if I'd like to remember the password. I don't want any passwords remembered. How can I prevent the "Save password" prompt from popping up?

You can send Apple feedback at http://www.apple.com/feedback/, but in short there is nothing you can do. As long as you don't try to update the app (either pressing the update button or update all), the app should continue to work fine with your data remaining intact. It has been a while since I've tried to update an app that isn't supported (last time was under iOS 3 or 4), so I can't comment about what would happen if you did try to update it. (My best guess is it will display an alert saying it is not compatible, and leave the previous version there, but not take away the 'update' in the APp Store app updates page).

Everytime I try to watch a movie from the internet on Apple TV I get a frozen screen. This is not what was advertised. Netflix runs fine. Itunes movies have to be sent via 'the cloud' as i tunes won't work directly either. Basically it seems Apple tv is an expensive paperweight.

How can I get rid of the earth looking image from nav bar?

I tried to replace it with another image, by going to folder-> edit-> image tab-> Title image and Rollover image, I uploaded both images, but the nav bar still shows a blue picture of earth.

click on the style properties <name> link
choose the background image element and remove the background image(which happens to be the earth img by default)

Updated my iPhone 5 to ios7, in the App store after installing updates I now have a never ending list of the Apps I've updated. How do I get rid of the list after they've been updated? In the previous version I did not have an annoying permanent list.
iOS 7 allows you to have your apps update automatically. Therefore, the list of what has been updated stays so that you can see what was updated, when and what the release notes say. It has been suggested that they list has a limit, much like Recents. Currently, there is no way for the user to delete the entries manually. Just try not to look at them.
