How do I remove the faint box/line that appears around a layer that has been placed on top of a background?

How do I get rid of the Blue line around an image that is a link that only happens after a click?

This is not the standard link problem. I have already put in: a img { border : none; }
That took care of not having a blue border around the image all the time.
My problem is that when I actually click on the image, it flashes with a red outline then turns bright blue and stays there untill I click off the image. Then it turns normal.
I have gone through the CSS and put (border: none) on everything I can think of. These images are in the sidebar, stacked vertically. Each is a link to a page and they are all doing the same thing.
I hope someone can help me solve this problem.

You have Canon ZR950 mini DV Camcorder, why not make a firewire connection and do DV data capture into the Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1 Capture Window?
Do you have any reference for what you are attempting to do or is this a creation of your own? Could you confirm what you describe as "just capturing video".
a. From your information, you are doing Get Media/Webcam or WDM Device with the Capture Window showing the Capturing Device as "Dazzle DVD 100 Video Device". What type of connection are you making between the Canon ZR950 and the Dazzle DVD 100 and the computer?
b. What exactly do you expect to be putting on the Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1 Timeline from this capture...DV AVI or something else?
Coming from the perspective of Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1 known issues, I would ask you to consider:
a. Remove the check mark next to AutoAnalyzer in the Capture window. Even if you were doing this Capture the "usual way", that is highly recommended.
b. Go to Edit Menu/Preferences/General, and compare your results with and without a check mark next to enable GPU playback. As a cross reference, please go to Edit Header/Effects/Video Effects and detemine if there is a category of Effects named GPU Effects. Do the same thing for Edit Header/Transitions/Video Transitions and determine if there is a category of Transitions named GPU Transitions.
And, the general drill for all users of Premiere Elements 8.0
a. Are you working with the automatic Background Rendering and AutoAnalzyer Features turned Off?
See Premiere Elements workspace Edit Menu/Preferences/General for background rendering option and Elements Organizer workspace Edit Menu/Preferences/AutoAnalzyer Options for AutoAnalzyer options.
b. Are you working from the 8.0.1 Update version of the program?

Ever since I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, I have this ugly white line slicing through my toolbar and outlining my tabs. How do I get rid of the "hasFocus" border around my Accordion?

I have heavily customized the design of my Accordion so that
there are no borders or background colors in it. My purpose is to
make a list of checkboxes that each have a child list of checkboxes
(inside each AccordionPanelContent) that only appear when you check
the parent checkbox.
So borders are unsightly for me. But how do I get rid of that
border which appears around the whole Accordion as soon as I click
on anything inside it? It seems that only checking one of the
"child" checkboxes in the AccordionPanelContent will remove the
focus/border from around the whole Accordion. I would rather the
border never appear at all, however.

The dotted border is the focus ring the browser places around
the Accordion when it has keyboard focus. You can either hide it by
adding:
.Accordion {
outline: none
to your stylesheet, or if you don't want keyboard navigation,
just remove the tabindex off of the div that has the "Accordion"
class on it.

How do I get rid of the dotted line on right side of bounding box

Ever since I upgraded to CS5, I seem to have a broken dotted line along the right side of the bounding box of the png logo that was created for my company. It wasn't there before. I've gone back to my original back up of the logo and this broken line is in all the versions now.
Whenever I use the artwork a single dash/dotted line is left on the far right, where the right vertical line of the bounding box would have been. You can see it in the image below on the right. Its a faint white line but when printed on a banner its stark white. The line falls just above the last "A" in Alberta.
I can use Illustrator and Photoshop basics and but have trouble when I get into problems like this.
Can anyone help me figure out why its there and how to get rid of it?

Wade, it hit me when you asked "why is it a png" file and I realized that I was using the wrong file. Sometimes its hard to see the forest for the trees! Problem for banner artwork fixed and I have now used the correct logo file so no more dotted line.
The dotted line only appears on the the png version of the logo. There's no coloured background on the logo file. She gave me the file as both an eps and a png file. I'm pretty sure she created the logo in Illustrator. I've been using the png file for the website, which is what I thought it worked well for. And the eps one for my print materials.
I have no clue why I grabbed the png instead of the eps logo file I usually use, but thanks for pointing out the obvious since I wasted time trying to fix it and was getting very frustrated at what had suddenly gone "wrong".
I still have that dotted line on the png file of the logo but I'll have to figure that out another day.

There is a 1-pixel wide light grey line across the top Persona background image between the navigation toolbar and the bookmarks toolbar from left to right. Nomatter whatever persona I have installed, it is there. Same thing also when i hover on any other Persona at Getpersonas.com. It is not there when using any other program and not when only showing the desktop. Only when using FF4. My PC is a HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop using Windows Vista. i previously had 21.97 Gb music, over 6 Gb photos, about 1Gb of apps, and minute amount of audio
now i have no music, 5.4 Gb photos and similar (0.8Gb) for apps and audio. i have deleted heaps of photos and unused apps to try to make space but obviosly this is a much bigger problem. I also created a smaller music folder on itunes to sync to but at present no music is selected for syncing due to the lack of available space.
i have 15Gb icloud account now also which is about half full.
Ive done a little research and heard similar tales but with much smaller other totals than this. Can you help?

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.
