How do I get rid of the UK store on my iPhone ?

Hello,
Thanks for a quick answer from wjosten. I have done what he suggested and I am in the French store and have been there all the time but I still can't get rid of the UK store on my iPhone ?? It's App store iTunes and kiosque. I can't get apps from the Uk store and the French store is avoiding to download too!
What can I do ?

Try going to Setings > iTunes and App Store > AppleID > View Apple ID and switch to the UK store, then from the AppleID drop down pane, Sign Out. Start over at Settings > iTunes & App Store > AppleID and and ssign in again and then select the French store and see if it hasn't dropped the UK store.

Firstly you DO NOT have to do a factory reset / wipe device, it is simply not required to get the space back!!
Mine had 3GB and I just got rid of it all, here is how:
Make a backup in iTunes
open iBackupBot (Google it)
Go to the relevant backup
Click on Multimedia File Manager and click on the other Multimedia files tab
Sort by filename by clicking the Filename tab
Find MediaDomain/Library/SMS/Attachments and highlight all of them, then press delete. You can also click to export to a folder of your choice, if you want to save them that is.
Then go to System Files>MediaDomain>Library>SMS>Attachments
They will be all listed here, highlight them all and press delete
Then just restore that backup using iTunes!
Tadaa! Space recovered, your messages are still there but without the attachments!
P.S You may want to make two backups in case you get any of the above steps wrong, but it is simple to follow the above and not do anything wrong!

Still trying to figure out version 6.0.3. In itunes 4.7, under general prefs you could turn off the itunes store and it wouldn't appear in the playlists sidebar. I've de-selected "show links to itunes store" under General. I've tried deleting it with CMD-delete, CMD-Opt-delete, and Opt-delete.
Anyone know the trick?

How do I get rid of the duplicate contacts on my iPhone?

I just transferred my 3Gs apps and data to my new iphone5. The contacts are now duplicated (a few times each) and are not identical. I am using OS X version 10.8.2 with itunes and icloud.

Duplicate contacts is usually caused by user error due to syncing between iTunes and iCloud simultaneously. Turn off sync between either iCloud or iTunes and the duplicates should be removed.
