Since updating with the new software I cannot get yahoo back as my homepage. How do I get rid of my topsites?

If you are referring to Safari on your Mac then in Safari > Preferences (command-comma), on the General tab you can change 'new windows open with' and 'new tabs open with' to be your homepage instead of 'top sites'

McAfee have taken the decision to rewrite the Firefox SiteAdvisor plugin to make it easier to update. This should ensure that Mozilla's fast-release schedule does not cause lengthy delays after future version updates. What it means for Firefox now though is that until the rewrite is complete - and tested - SiteAdvisor is being prevented from loading in Firefox in order to avoid the possibility of software incompatibility.

In the meantime, users who are concerned about the safety of websites may wish to consider WOT as a temporary substitute. It is, however, a good rating tool in its own right (I use both it and SiteAdvisor in all my browsers) and is apparently unaffected by the upgrade to FF5.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Yes, it's seems like a poor design decision.
By putting the date on the line below the Note title in the Notes Index, the app shows half the number of notes per page AND if you have a large number of notes, it takes twice as long to stroll down.
I doubt the designer actually uses the app.

Although FireWire and USB connections will allow multiple iPod devices to be connected to the computer at the same time, iTunes for Windows works best with only one iPod connected at a time. If you used Boot Camp to install Windows you may use Boot Camp to remove it and return your drive to as it was.

How can I get rid of top hits in safari on iPad Air.

I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of top hits suggestions in safari on my iPad Air. I've gone into settings and turned off top hits and also cleared history and cache and cookies and yet I'm still getting top hits coming up. I'm using the privacy option and have also rebooted my ipad with no success. Any more suggestions as I don't want top hits showing when in safari, many thanks.

You can go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, cookies and data and then delete every bookmark and that should clear it temporarily, but it will only be temporary. As soon as you starting using the search again, then suggestions will appear again.
I think that I may have misread your question - if you want to clear all of the history - use the Clear History button in the upper right corner of the History window. You cannot delete one item at a time.
