The template is a document in itself, it is not applied to an existing document whether it is a Pages document or a Word document converted to a Pages document.
You would need to either copy and paste content, using existing styles, or apply the styles to the converted Word document.
You can Import the Styles from an existing document and those imported Styles can be used to override the current document's styles:
Menu > Format > Import Styles
The process is simplified if the styles use the same names, otherwise you will need to delete the style you don't want and replace it with the one that you do want when asked, then the substitution is pretty straightforward.

Only the user importing content multiple times creates duplicates.
Delete the duplicates and stop importing the same content multiple times.

Go to Settings > General > About and look at the "Network" row near the top. There's your carrier's name!

I've used Brasso to remove minor scratches/scuffs from my Nano and 5th Gen iPod. It works pretty well, and it's available at any hardware store. Your local supermarket might even carry it in the isle with cleaning products.
I don't know how well it would work for you. Having the iPod dragged around the floor sounds pretty rough. If it has deep scratches, there might not be anything you can do for it.

Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. Note if some of the duplicate items have the iCloud link icon sign out of the store, then sign in again.

This seems to happen from time to time. I have not read a good explanation, but I suspect that the iPod's operating system isn't the best at memory management.
These are the standard fist steps to this type of issue:
First try Resetting Your iPod to correct this problem. It may take several attempts.
If that does not solve the problem, then Restore Your iPod and put the music back on your iPod, from iTunes.

I just noticed this (in comparison to Internet Explorer): In IE, when you favorite a webpage, it uses the actual name of the webpage (for example, for this page, it would be "Ask a Question Firefox Help" as the bookmark name), but in Mozilla it uses the URL address as the bookmark name. I was wondering if it was at all possible to change my Mozilla settings in order to make it use the webpage name as the bookmark name instead of the URL address? I hope everyone understands what I'm getting at? If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
