How do I get rid of Wallpaper Myway when I open a new tab in chrome?
This keeps popping up each time.

If Safari is not affected, you probably installed a malicious Chrome extension. Remove all extensions you don't know you need. If in doubt, remove all of them.
Also check that the home page hasn't been reset.

I want to disconnect my hard drive from my iMac, if I right click on either of my drives nothing comes up, if I try to move them to trash, one goes in the bin but the other will not, how do I get rid of that one please?

I have two hard drives for my iMac, I cannot right click on either icon to 'safely disconnect' either drive, but I can send one to trash. The other however will not go to trash so how do I disconnect this one please?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

I can't use safari or google as i keep getting a pop up which says 'http//optimize-app.com' Apple Top Games, Free download now, the last day! I don't trust it and don't want to click the ok button, but there is no way to cancel it and it prevents me accessing anything else. Thank you

hello there, i really hope you can help.
At first i thought it was a bug/virus, it was the time much was being said about the Heartbleed thing. Did not fit the symptoms so i kept searching and found articles about hackers coming through yahoo mail`s advertisment. You know the ones that come through your screen and you have to close if you want to go any further. Change your password they said. LOL!!!
Now the thing, whatever it is has taken my ipad totally. i know it is there since nothing works the way it use to and i cannot delete bookmarks and have bookmarks that just appeared over night! everytime i check my emails, yahoo and now gmail as well, there is a delay and something totally off.
I just did what you said above with all fingers and toes crossed, but nope it is still there...
What do you think? what to do?

What is all this "Other" stuuf and how do I get rid of it? PLease help!!!

I had to restore my iTouch and it;s working fine now but my computer shows that it has like seven gigs of "other" content that dos not show up on my iTouch. This much space being taken up is preventing me from actually putting my music on my iTouch. Can anybody help me out?

Do you have any apps such as Air Video, VLC or ZumoCast that allow you to convert or sync media for use offline? Or any PDF readers that may have large PDF files associated? Any RSS readers or other aggregators that could have large caches of internet material?
In my experience these are the sorts of apps that generate a lot of 'other' content. Sometimes it's easy to forget what files you have associated with these apps.

If you don't want recents in your App Switcher screen:
Settings => Mail, Contact, and Calendars => Scroll down to Contacts => Show in App Switcher => Turn off Recents and Favorites too if you don't want them in the App Switcher.

You can't get rid of it.
If you turn iMessage off and just use regular SMS it won't appear.
