How do I get some action over my connection speed
I recently joined the infinity club.
The checker for my line says expected Download speed 19.6, upload 5.
I have not got anywhere near that speed.
Yesterday I noted BT Openreach on our street at my meighbours. After they left I spoke with my neighbour who also has infinity and he said he was having disconnection issues and slow speed and had requested a visit.
It seems Openreach lifted a cover about 20m from our houses and said the speed there was 15.5. They then lifted another cover around the corner 40m from our houses and said the speed there was 22. They advised my neighbour there was a fault between the two covers and were going to make a request to sort it but did not hold out much hope because it was above 15.

As you can see the download profile seems stuck at 15.32 probably because of the fault?
The issue is made worse because the reason for the upgrade is BTVision. It seems you need 9 to play in HD which I can do but it will not be possible with my current situation to record & watch in HD because I will need 18 to achieve this.
Is my interpretation above probably correct and who do I contact to register a complaint?

I think you will find my friend there is no problem there with your throughput, you were estimated 19.6MB Down so 15.3MB down would be about write, after a day 10 cool down!. You are never going to get over your estimated speeds, only lower, unless of some rare occasions you might. Have you ran a full diagnostic check on your line yet to see?:-

Hi , I am working on Mac os x, Indesign cs6.
My problem is when I am exporting my file as jpg ore a PDF using rgb coz its going on Ipad. The file is turning out real smoggy and dirty looking when i send them via mail and open it on I pod. When I use a cable and do it manually trough I tunes it works out fine. With that said it only works on my apple Ipad devices and NOT on Samsung.
So to make my question short´n simple:

If you export to jpg or PDF, take care to set the compression to high or maximum so that the image doesn't suffer from lossy compression to a heavy degree.
You mention iPad, then iPod, then iPad again, then Samsung Android. What really are you doing? More detail as to your intentions is needed. Most images on any digital device use the sRGB color space to define and control the color of an image. -

I have been editing in final Cut express on my MacBook Pro and just jumped to a new iMac and Final Cut ProX. Trying to record my own voice on a Yeti mic and import it as narration for a video. Thought I could simply import media but X has it greyed out.
Sharing with iTunes is OK, but it is likely to produce a file in MP3 or AAC, which can cause problems. You can create an AIFF version of an MP3 file in iTunes and use that.
To create an AIFF version, go to iTunes/Preferences and click the General Tab. Click the Import Settings button. Choose Import Using: AIFF Encoder. Then choose your track, and click FILE/CREATE AIFF Version. Use this in FCPX. Be sure to go back into iTunes Preferences and set the import options back to where you had it, so the next time you rip an CD it does not make an AIFF. -

Download the AP MIBs from Cisco.
Compile the MIBs using the MG-SOFTs MIB-Explorer and then you see the OID values and expalnations. -

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can't doing anything abouty this, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted. -
