How do I get synced photos from an iPhone?

I just visited a couple of friends and we took some photos with their camera. I wanted to bring the shots home with me so we loaded them into iPhoto on their iMac and created an album with the new photos. I then used iTunes on their iMac to sync that album to my iPhone (replacing everything but the camera roll on the iPhone).
I'm now home and have tried iPhoto and Image Capture but neither will get the synced album from the iPhone; they just get the camera roll. How do I get these photos off the iPhone and into my MacBook Pro?
Thanks in advance,
Steve  = : ^ )

You can e-mail them to yourself.
The picture sync is one way - computer to iphone.  There are also not of the original quality, as they are reduced in quality when synced to iphone.  It may be best to have your friends e-mail you a full quality photo.

My Photos Stream is no longer adding photos to my PC.  How do I get my photos from my iPhone 5 ios 7.0.4 to my PC's Photo Stream?

    Hi jmy13,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Try these steps first if the Photo Stream on your PC is not updating:
you can't connect to the Internet, iCloud Photos will not be able to send or receive updates to My Photo Stream. If necessary, troubleshoot your Internet connection on your PC, Mac, or iOS devices.
Open the iCloud Control Panel and make sure that you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices.
In Windows 8.1, go to the Start screen, click the down arrow in the lower-left corner, then click the iCloud app.
In Windows 8, go to the Start screen, and click the iCloud tile.
In Windows 7, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Make sure that iCloud Photos or Photo Stream is turned on in the iCloud Control Panel. Click the Options button and make sure that My Photo Stream is turned on.
Close and reopen the iCloud Control Panel.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it does reinitialize your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.

  • HT4236 How do I remove synced photos from my IPhone?

I have tried to delete my photos that I have synced from my photo library and it just won't work! I followed the Apple Support directions and still nothing, the photos are still there!!!

    Hello there, Shrid.
The following Knowledge Base article reviews how to Sync photos:
    iTunes: Syncing photos
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
You will just sync to the new computer. Keep in mind:
    Additional Information
Syncing photos with your device will create an iPod photo cache.
Syncing photos can only happen from one computer or user account at a time. Syncing photos with a different computer or user replaces the photos on the device.
You can't reimport pictures synced from your computer to your device back to your computer. You can only import pictures in the Camera Roll or Saved Photos from your device to your computer. If you need to retrieve synced photos from your device:
Email them from the device to yourself.
Copy them from the emails to your computer.
On iPhone and iPod touch using iOS 5 and iOS 6, all synced photos will appear in a unified category called photo library. Photos are not duplicated; this is a way to view all synced albums in one place. You can also tap a specific album beneath photo library to view individual albums.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro D.

  • How do i get my photos from my iphone 4s to my new toshiba laptop? Toshiba keeps saying there are no files to view, meaning i have no photos on my phone, which is not true.

I just bought a new toshiba laptop and I am trying to download the pictures off of my iphone 4s on to my laptop. The laptop keeps trying to download the pictures and it stops part way through and says "No files to download"  meaning that I have to pictures on my iphone, which is not true because there are about 600 picture that i wanted to put onto the computer.. How to i get those pictures off of my iphone and on to my laptop?

Pics synced to your iphone from your computer are one way- computer to iphone.
If these are the pics to which you are referring then copy them from your old computer or your backup copy of your computer, to your new one.

  • How can I get my photos from my iphone back?

I had lost my iphone 5 about a month ago. I purchased a new iphone 5 and began taking photos. When I accessed itunes, I clicked the restore button, and got all my apps and photos from my stolen phone back on to my new phone. How can I get back the new photos I have taken?

Unless you did a backup of the phone prior to the restore, you don't. Remember that restoring to a particular date and time will restore the device to that particular date/time, so anything after that point is deleted.

  • My Laptop was stolen. How can I get my photos from my iphone onto my new laptop that are in albums, not the camera roll?

I have photos in albums that are stored on my iphone. My laptop that I had everything backed up on was stolen. I would like to be able to re-sync my iphone with my new laptop (Windows 8) without losing the photos that are in my albums. I'd prefer not to have to individually email them all to myself and I have everything off the camera roll already. I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

Also, ALL of the photos were taken by my iphone.

  • Hi how do i get my photos from my iphoen4s on to my mac?

Hi how do i get my photos from my iphone to my imac

Sorry this wasn't mentioned before, but you need to go to iPhoto Preferences. When iPhoto is open, click on the word "iPhoto" in the menu bar to open the contextual menu. Go down and click on "Preferences". In the "General" tab of preferences (see screenshot below) look at the bottom line and for the drop down titled "Connecting camera opens" choose "No application".
Now iPhoto will no longer automatically open when you plug in your iPhone and you can move them to your computer wherever you want using Image Capture or Preview or however you want.

  • How can I get all photos from iPhoto to automatically back up to iCloud from my Mac OSX Version 10.6.8 operating system.  Not enough memory to upgrade.

How can I get all photos from iPhoto to automatically back up to iCloud from my Mac OSX Version 10.6.8 operating system.  Not enough memory to upgrade.

You can't.  iCloud is not for general file backup from a Mac. It's for backup up and syncing data between mobile devices and and Macs and  The following is from this Apple document: iCloud: Backup and restore overview.
iCloud automatically backs up the most important data on your (mobile) device using iOS 5 or later. Once you have enabled Backup on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch .....
    What is backed up
You get unlimited free storage for:
Purchased music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books
Notes: Backup of purchased music is not available in all countries. Backups of purchased movies and TV shows are U.S. only. Previous purchases may not be restored if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
Some previously purchased movies may not be available in iTunes in the Cloud. These movies will indicate that they are not available in iTunes in the Cloud on their product details page in the iTunes Store. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
You get 5 GB of free iCloud storage for:
Photos and videos in the Camera Roll
Device settings (for example: Phone Favorites, Wallpaper, and Mail, Contacts, Calendar accounts)
    App data
    Home screen and app organization
    Messages (iMessage, SMS, and MMS)
    Ringtones
    Visual Voicemails
But not from a Mac.  If you want to backup your photos and other important files I suggest you get an external hard drive and use  it with Time Machine.

  • How do I delete synced photos from my IPad 2? My computer is no longer holding a charge and I would like to delete photos I synced without my computer

I hope that it is not true that I cannot delete photos thaI synced to my iPad. I cannot use my computer because it is not charging. How do I remove synced photos from my iPad without the use of my ITunes?

This is a problem. Normally you do need to connect to the computer you've synced ith previously to delete albums that were copied from that computer.
In the case where the old computer fails, crashes or is sold or discarded, you need to get all of your stuff off the iPad and onto a new computer. Visit Apple support to learn how to do this. Once you establish a new tunes library on a different computer you can sync and delete the photo albums you no longer want.
Another option is to restore your iPad to its original state. That will delete everything including photos, non default apps, music, videos, etc.
Once reset and erased you can download all purchased apps again.

  • How do i get a photo from LR to my iphone   thank you    joanlvh

how do I get a photo from LR to my iphone    thank you   joanlvh

In iTunes you can choose to use a folder for photos rather than iPhoto.
I have a folder in Pictures called iPhone, and I export to subfolders of this. These subfolders become albums in the Photos application.
I have a preset setup to give me 760 long edge photos, sRGB at quality 80.
If you want to be even lazier about it, you could set up an Export Preset folder called iPhone and create a preset for each folder. So you could make a preset called Friends that exports to the subfolder Friends. (this is then an album called Friends on the iPhone)
Export the photos you want on the iPhone and then sync via iTunes.

  • How do I get my photos from my old iphone 4 onto my new iphone 5c?

How do I get my photos from my old ipone 4 onto my new ipone 5c?

Do you still have the old iPhone? If so, one option would be to import the photos to a computer iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer and then sync them from the computer to the new phone iTunes: Syncing photos
That is a number of steps but one advantage of doing that is that you then have a copy on the computer where they are safe in the event of loss of the phone, hardware problem or other things that can happen to the phone.
The other option is by a backup and restore, assuming you still have the old phone or that you did a backup when you had it. A possible disadvantage is that the restore is complete -- i.e., it will overwrite anything you have already added to the new phone such as new photos. iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
A third option would be a 3rd party app installed on each the old and new phone; one example is http://www.photosync-app.com
