How do I get System Profiler to open?

I want to check the speed of my Superdrive burner because I am getting error messages. When I try to open System Profiler, nothing happens. What should I do?
In my console, this appears: System Profiler[260] Unable to load nib file: SPApp, exiting

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

This is entirely my complaint.

Let's just hope they don't come back to do something else within those 5 days !!!
There isn't a fault with the line, it is perfectly stable. I just need somebody to use common sense and set the IP profile back to what it was.
If the system is so clever, it could at least try moving off 135k to 512k say after an hour or so.
I will try using that link though and see if somebody can do something !!
Frustrated is not the word ! If I ran my business like this I'd have no customers left. I'm pretty sure that's not the first time somebody has posted that on here

I always recommend backing up the iPhoto Library file under your Pictures folder first.
You can try removing the iPhoto Preference file in your User Library folder. Close iPhoto. If you are using Snow Leopard (10.6) click on Go in the Finder menu bar. Click on Library. If you are now on Lion (10.7), you'll have to hold Option key while clicking Go to see the Library selection. Once here, find the Preferences folder. In here, look for the following:
com.apple.iPhoto.plist
Move this file to the desktop. Start iPhoto and see what happens. If it is working, you can delete the file you moved to the desktop. This should not delete any photos, but will reset iPhoto as if it's the first time you are opening it (so your preferences you set may need to be set back).
If this doesn't work, let me know.

How do I get a folder to open up in Final Cut Pro version 6. I'm on a MAC OS X Version 10.6.8. The movie folders I imported on my desktop from a Lacie Rugged Triple external hard drive. When I try to import the folder a pop up comes up that says, "ERROR: No translatin templates matching the selected XML file were found. Unable to import this file." When I try and drag the folder into Final Cut a pop up comes up that reads "Please choose a translation document file". What should I do or what am I not doing?

How do I get IE 11 to open in the same spot on my task bar. i.e. IE 11 is on my task bar. When I open it, it opens in a new place on the end of the task bar. Microsoft Outlook, Windows Explorer, Quicken, Adobe, etc,, all on the task bar open
right at there location on the task bar; not in a new place at the end of the task bar.

Seems a strange issue, How about un-pin IE from the taskbar, then re-pin it to the taskbar for a test?
If doesn't work, I suggest you turn off IE 11 in "Turn Windows Features on or off", reboot PC, then re-turn on, check the result again.

I backed up files a while back of my FCPX files to a server. I have a project i need to reopen and edit. In the latsest version of FCPX, it will not convert open or import. How do I get this project to open up and allow me to edit or update the file?

You can't open that file. Assuming the event that it is part of was created in an earlier version, the event needs to be in a folder named Final Cut Events. Any projects associated with that event need to be in a folder named Final Cut Projects. When FCP X 10.1 is opened, if you go to Update Projects and Events and then navigate to the drive where these folders live, it should create a new library for them.

Installing iTunes does not and has never caused media to magically appear on the computer.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer (or backup of the old computer) to the new computer.
