Make sure you are adding events to the iCloud calendar as that is the only one that syncs with iCloud. Check your default calendar by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar. Be sure you have selected the calendar listed under your iCloud account name as your default.
If you're settings are correct and it still won't sync, try going to Settings>iCloud and turning Calendars to Off, then back On. If the calendar in iCloud has all your events, when you are prompted about what to do with the iCloud calendar when you turn it off, choose Delete from My iPhone. It will be synced back to your phone when you turn Calendars back to On.

Some apps do indeed come off the market. The vendor stops selling or supporting them for whatever reason.
That is likely what happened.
See if the app is still in the App Store. If so, you can download it. If not, it is gone. -

Thank you for the reply.
You were correct that deleting the app and reinstalling it was the only thing to make it work but unfortunately I lost all the documents I made, even though they were backed up to iCloud before i deleted the app. At the same time as deleting pages I had to delete keynote and numbers too, so I've lost all the documents in them too.
The mb of data which was assigned to each programme in iCloud has reduced, so. I guess they are gone for good. Is there any other way to reaccess them?
Not your fault but I am a bit fed up the the iPad. I have lost work that I've done and have no other copy apart from what was in iCloud, as I don't have a printer and couldn't email them too myself as I couldn't get into the programme and i've also got episodes of tv series I purchased that I can't download and albums that are half downloaded with songs missing, so I feel a bit swindled out of time and money and am going back to DVD , pen and paper and CDs .
Instead of using iCloud I guess the only way to make sure I don't loose any more documents it to email them to myself each time I save them on the iPad. Is there anything else you could suggest please?
I don't have any other apple products apart from iPods, so I can't access the iCloud on anything else can I?

I got the latest version of itunes, the latest version of software for ipod touch but I still can't find the "APPS" tab in the preferences setting. How do you get the 2.0 update? I had the same problem with the other update when I first bought this thing. Apple is really ******* me off.
Ya know i would just wait because they dont HAVE to release it today, tommorow, or in the next year if they want too. Maybe they have a new idea and want to add that so you need to be patient... i know we were all dissapointed when i didnt come out in june but just shut your virtual mouth and wait!

There were some updates on my Apps. I updated them on my iTunes but my iPad did not get the same downloads/updates thru iCloud. Does the iCloud only works for "New" Apps or Books downloaded from the store but not the "Updates"?
Purchased music does not count against your iCloud storage and you cannot get rid of them in the purchased tab.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

The term "factory unlocked" has no meaning. Your phone was not legitimately unlocked. Contact the carrier it is locked to and find out if you can get it unlocked.

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.
