How do i get the current song to show in the system tray?

howdy y'all,
the system tray icon for itunes USED to show the current song when you hovered over it. now it only shows "itunes". not very useful ... [*grin*]
how do i get the silly thing to show the current song?

53 views and not one idea from anyone. [*sigh ...*] i suppose that means the nitwits in charge at apple have once again stripped a function away for no rational reason.
i'm beginning to seriously wonder if i ought to switch to another music manager. i _really_ like the way smart playlists work in itunes, so i am _very_ reluctant to switch.
anyway, if anyone has a suggestion, please post it! [*grin*]

How do o get my browsing history to show on the mozilla icon in the taskbar?

I'm not even sure if I'm using the correct terminology, but here's the problem. During a session, if I clicked on the Mozilla Firefox icon on the taskbar (bottom left of my screen), it would show all of the pages I'd been looking at, and I could just click on them to go back and forth. I could minimize a page and click on the icon and the page would show there so I could restore it.
Now, only my current page shows up on the icon. How can I restore my history to the icon on the taskbar?

I like to keep skype open on my second monitor while I play videogames on the first one and I like to watch people talk in one of my skype groups and I join in when they talk about something I am interested in. The problem is, when the skype window is not the focused window, it stays on the last message I saw and doesn't automatically scroll down with each new message like it does when skype is the main window. How do I get it to show me each new message while skype isn't being actively used?

How to I get a marker name to show in the timeline?

I must have done something to disable it, but I recall marker names displaying in the Timeline when a marker is selected. Now I have to open the marker to see the name. How to I re-enable the display so marker names show in the timeline?
(Yes I looked in the FCP manual, but just try and find something like that in the PDF file!)

They're on clips and on the timeline itself.
Show Overlays does display them on the timeline (not in the Viewer), but it also displays in/out points and audio timecode. Is it all or nothing?

How do I get my professional account to show to the person receiving my email and not the primary account?

I have 3 email addresses set up on my Mac. I'll label them as A, B and C. A is the primary email that was set up when I first got my Mac. C is my professional account for a company I work for. I recieve messages to that email in my Master inbox. I try to send mail from C, I select that email address out of the 'from' selection box and hit 'send'. The problem is that when I look at the sent message, or when I get a reply from the person I emailed from C, it shows up as an email from A and not C. How do I fix this?

In Mail > Preferences > Accounts to can find out which STMP server you are using for outgoing items.
This can be one account.
I do this with a dial Up account I still have access to.
I can "fetch" mail over DSL and now Fibre.
However I have to be Logged in via Dial up to actually use their Servers to Send.
As a Consequence I "send" via one of the other Accounts STMP servers. (I tend to add a signature that reflects this account change)
The other thing that might explain what you are seeing is the Full Name Box.

How can I get my itunes songs to show up on my apple tv2 from my ipad?

I just bought apple tv and an ipad. I set up home sharing. When I am using apple tv, I can see my itunes songs/playlists on my tv as long as my HP laptop is on. But if I have my laptop off, and my ipad2 on, i cannot see my songs on my tv. I have to use my ipad 2 in order to navigate through the songs. Any ideas?
Also as a side question, It seems that the picture quality on my ipad 2 is not very good. Meaning, I took a picure with a professional camera and saved it to my ipad. Then I used it for my background on my ipad but it is very grainy. Is this normal?

Regarding your first question. That is the correct behaviour. Apple TV can only see and play media that is being shared by a compurter running iTunes. It will not see the media on your iPad. You can however use Airplay to play the media on your iPad on your Apple TV. If you download and install the Apple Remote app on to your iPad you can use that to remote control your iTunes library playback on your computer or Apple TV.
Regarding your second question. Try creating a version of the image that is the same native resolution as the iPad's screen which is 1024 x 768 pixels. Also, save it as a JPEG or PNG file for best results.

By "footer" do you mean your signature? What's in it: plain text, styled text, graphics? What about the body of your messages (same options)?
I stick with plain text, and almost all recipients see it at the bottom of my plain-text messages.

In iTunes on a computer, right click on the movie, select get info.
In the tabs that are present, select art work.
Hit the add button, navigate to the image and press select.
When you load it onto the iPad, that image should display.
Media purchased from iTunes should already have art work.

Hi Dr. Ron,
By your question, I am wondering if you are playing your music from the iTunes app rather than the Music app?
In the Music App, you can go to any of the options at the bottom and click on a song to play and it will then continue to play the songs in that category. You can also select "Shuffle" to shuffle them.
As for your Photos, did you have them backed up anywhere?

"Current browser"? When viewing anything, or just when using an APEX app?
Ans .. Just when using apex app....even if the apex app is minimised ..The current browser will be the one where I am using apex app...
What i am looking for some scheduler .. to check ..in the table every 5 minute for change if there is a change..then a popup alert be shown...
Split it into [at least] 2 components, database and browser. I'd expect someone calling themself a "DBA Architect" to have some ideas about the database side of things, even if not clued up on JavaScript and AJAX?

In Oracle Applications, we are getting the following error while performing ROLLBACK to a Savepoint.
"Unexpected Error: ORA-01086: savepoint 'PTNR_BULK_CALC_TAX_PVT' never establishe d ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception"
So how can I get a list of active savepoints for the current session?
Could you please also let me know if there is any better way to debug this issue.
Appreciate any quick response as the issue is very critical.

There is no way to get a list of active savepoints. Is this your code or a "canned" procedure? If it is your code you can go through the code looking for answers, possibly tracing execution using DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE or writing messages to a log table. If its a "canned" procedure you may need to open an SR with Oracle
