If you disconnected before your iPod came back on it could be bricked. Try resetting iPod back to factory settings but back up all your music, photos, files etc to an external or make sure you have them on your Mac before doing so.

Making sure you answer your calls on times is important. All phones have a standard amount set per rings before a call goes to voice. We are unable to change settings to make the phone ring longer. Sometimes purchased or recorded ringtones can cause the ringing on your end to seem shorter. Do you currently have a customized ringtone on your phone?

This problem is not a pop-up. First of all the problem did not start until Yahoo changed their set up for ads in Yahoo Games.
Once it did start, the ads do not "pop-up", it is a vertical bar that is there all the time. You cannot get rid of it.
By the same token, it is not a Yahoo Problem since the problem does not exist using another server.
Yahoo says it has to do with some add-ons or plug-ins in Firefox that is causing the problem.
As you can see by the screen picture, one third of the game screen has a vertical ad area. I want to get rid of it.

How do I get the registration nag screen to go away permanently?

I purchased Acrobat Pro 7 while an employee, and now that I'm retired, I have neither the money nor need to upgrade. However, I did get a W8 machine, and when I tried to install Acrobat, I needed a new link, which I received from Adobe. I downloaded and installed that software. I must have activated it, though I don't remember. The software works.
But every time I start it, it asks me to register. I don't know how to do that with this replacement product, nor do I know how to make that nag screen disappear permanently?
The chat support person said that I'd get the answer here.

Find Acrobat.exe on your computer. Right click the program and click 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'. Set the compatibility to Windows XP service pack 3. At least that seems to have worked for me.

HT201317 how do I get my photos not to move every photo over to my phone. I have separate folders, but for some reason the icloud moves everyone over. like over 1400. I only probably want like 400 of them on my phone at all times.

Your photo stream photos will still go to your Mac, and will appear in iPhoto. Furthermore, checking Automatic Import as shown in the image above will automatically add them to your iPhoto library so they aren't deleted.
Unchecking Automatic Upload will stop iPhoto from automatically adding photos in your library to photo stream
The other thing you should check is the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings. Connect your phone to your computer and open iTunes. Then click on the name of your phone in iTunes and click on the Photos tab. Here, make sure you haven't checked "Sync Photos from iPhoto" and selected "All photos, albums, Events, and Faces" as shown in this image (click on the image to see a larger version):
If you have, you are syncing all your iPhoto photos to your phone when you sync with iTunes. If you've done this, you can uncheck "Sync Photos from iPhoto" and sync again and they will be removed from your phone.

I'm not certain what the feature is called Apple, as I must have hit a random set of keys on the key baord by mistake, but I am having a heck of a time trying to find out how to g close a speakable dialog box to close on my Mac. This is what it looks like - http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/5002/savedialogbox.png It's the Black Box in the middle of the screen, with white lettering, and shows and speaks everything that I do.
I've gone to the System Preferences and opened the "Speef" preference and it was "Off," so that can't be it, so any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have scroll bars enabled in the System Preferences > General tab (MacOS X 10.7 or later)?
Try, if setting this to "Show scroll bars > Always" will bring your scrollbar back.

How do I get the Acrobat Distiller back?

Using FM10. Have to create a PDF file only occasionally. Always used the plug-in that came with FrameMaker. We decided to download the trial version of Acrobat X. Used it for awhile but didn't see any great advantages to buying it. For the work we're doing, the Save as PDF feature in FrameMaker worked just fine. So I deleted Acrobat X. Now the distiller is gone as well. I can no longer Save as PDF in FrameMaker. When I try, I get the error message, "To execute 'Save as PDF' command, you must have Acrobat Distiller version 5.05 or higher installed."
How do I get the distiller back?
We purchased and downloaded FrameMaker on-line so I have no CD.

Saving such files is good advice. As it turns out, I did save the download files at home. So that part is no longer an issue. Right now, the inability to create a pdf file is still the issue. I've made no progress there.
To summarize, here is the sequence of events so far:
- Deleted the trial version of Acrobat X Pro.
- Found that the Distiller was no longer there.
- On the advice of Dov Isaacs, above, re-installed FM10 from the original downloaded install files.
- Still unable to 'Save as PDF." A tps file is created.
- Re-installed FM10 once again, this time ensuring that the 'Install Adobe PDF Creation Add On X' was checked to install.
- After the install, double checked in the Control Panel to see that the add-on was installed.
- Still unable to create a PDF. FM goes through the gyrations and it does create a tps file, but somehow can't bring up the distiller to complete the process.
I have triple checked all of the settings and they are the same as I've always used. I'm thinking that there's some remnant of Acrobat left over that Frame is looking at and getting no response from. Maybe something in the Windows Registry. Oh my! Perish that thought! Might I next have to completely delete everthing associated with Adobe and start completely from scratch?
