How do I get the Home, Reload and Forward/Backward buttons grouped logically together, rather than splattered randomly across the top of the browser ?

In Firefox 3, all the buttons are grouped together, in V4 they are now scattered across the top of the browser, aping IE7/8 - plus the "stop loading" button has gone walkabout - it would be useful to get that back, as well.

You can open the Customize window to make it possible to change the position of those toolbar buttons.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"<br />
* Drag the Home button from its current position at the right to the previous position at the left of the location bar.
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

When you re-open Firefox and choose Restore Session, by default it picks up your most-recently-open window, and the other windows should then show up in Recently Closed Windows.
The Firefox add-on Session Manager lets you manage how many closed windows and closed tabs are saved, in case it's not enough.

How do you get the browser to work offline. It stays connected even if you click on Work Offline option and there is a check mark beside it.

I play an online game which requires me to open and set up several tabs, click on them offline, and then reload all tabs. With this new update, the work offline button does not work. I click on it 'Work Offline', a checkmark appears before the option. I notice that you are likely infected by Conduit software (malware) looking a the browser.newtab.url pref in the System Details list.
Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can also check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if anything from Conduit.

How do I get the browser to allow Office programs to open files?

I have created a .JSP/servlet index of documents on a server. Basically, the JSP displays a list of all the documents in a directory with a summary of each and a link out to the right...like this:

Word documents and PDF files open fine b/c they open in the new browser window, however, most other documents such as .XLS, .ZIP, and .PPT all return gibberish to the browser window. Obviously, I would prefer that the browser allow the associated program on the user's PC to open the file but I have no idea how to do that effectively...especially since I am dealing with a variety of filetypes??
Can someone tell me what the best way would be to manage this problem given that it could be any number of file types??

Inspiration browser gave many problems, that's why Adobe dropped it in PSE11.
I will recommend you to use tv.adobe.com, which has almost all the video tutorials you will find through inspiration browser.

It's dead simple! If you sign up for a Firefox Account, you can use Firefox Sync to automatically copy your bookmarks over. Here's an article on how it works:

Just follow the instructions the article. You might find it easiest to sign up for a Firefox Account on your PC and then log in to your account on your phone - but you can do it either way around.
On Android, Firefox will automatically show "tiles" with your recently visited sites, instead of a homepage.

Unable to transfer a complete album and only 2 songs appear in iTunes. This is from a purchased CD which was uploaded to my private music collection to use in iTunes.
Unable to keep the songs on iPhone without having to download them all the time. There are albums that apear but greyed because I have to re-download them. It is very nerve racking.
Unable to keep the files edited properly. Such as New York Dolls when it is supposed to be The New York Dolls.
So far, these are the problems I have been running across. No matter which I used to sync or to use iMatch it does seem to have me do a some of the actions over. This does not even cover the rating. It should keep all your settings and not selective.

Firstly you need to install Software and drivers for your printer on your Windows 8 machine using the following file:

Microsoft Picture It is not compatible with Windows 8 therefore you can't use it anyway:

You can simply scan as jpg files and use them for other software.

The podcasts I listen are automatically organized chronologically. I downloaded something from itunes U and it is organized by date in itunes but alphabetically on my ipod so I have no idea which one actually comes first. Here's the deal. I stepped into an administrative position last fall and began building an entire calender schedule for our summer 2014 program. I put a lot of work into building two months, however I have only just realized that the apple ID is for the former person who had my job (she left herself logged in on the mac I am now using). My fault for assuming the apple id and login would be the same as the email account I am responsible for.
I did manage to share one of the calendars I created using her apple ID, so I still have access, however, I'd feel better if I could somehow take this "shared" calendar and keep it as my own using the apple ID for the email account I'm responsible for. In other words, is there a way to take a calendar that was shared with you by someone else and save it under my apple ID as MY primary calendar? I'm paranoid that this former employee will delete said shared calendar and I will have to start from scratch...

Before you start see if you can export the calendar to a .ics file via the File ➙ Export menu option. In your own account import the .ics file and that, hopefully, will bring in all the work you've done so far.

I don't want everything consolidated under "Menu", I want to see "File", "Edit", "View", etc. listed across my toolbar. I played around with it as much as possible, and I have searched Firefox Help to no avail. I can't believe this option would be non-existent. The consolidation may be visually pleasing, but functionally it's annoying and is slightly more time consuming. Please help, thank you very much. (^-^)/

Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).
