YOur phone has to be locked. Then you receive a text or call, your phone will flash.

In that case the procedure assuming it is a PAYG phone is to get an o2 PAYG sim, put £20 on it and then make a few calls making sure you leave £15 on the sim to pay for the unlock. Try this:
Go into Power Manager, choose the Logging profile.
Go into Windows' Power Options, choose a different profile, then switch back to the Logging profile.
See if this clears any contradiction between the two.

How do you get the video out to TV to work on the iPhone 3GS

I cannot get the video out to TV to work on my iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.1.1.
I am using the $40.00 apple composite AV cables and nothing seems to work. With the cables connected to tv input nothing shows up in general settings for video out. Or anywhere else for that matter. I have tried many different TV's, sometimes I get audio but never never ever video . Does anyone else have this problem or better yet the answer?

But, i do know what was wrong now. The whole problem was the brand new $40.00 set of apple composite AV cables i just bought was no good. This afternoon i took a trip to the nearest apple retail outlet (30 miles away) with phone and cables in hand. And after doing a little head scratching of their own they decided to try another set of cables, and low and behold the darn thing worked like a charm.I was very impressed by the service at the apple store even though i didnt buy either product from them. I wonder if there is a bad batch of cables floating around out there because it looks like other people out there are having the same problem, which is why i didnt really suspect the cables. Those apps are not included in the iPad version of iOS 5. There may be some 3rd party apps that will work with Notification Center, though.

How do I get the Adobe Motion Menu Templates to work . . .

Seems like a simple question. I downloaded my "Adobe Gift" and placed them in a new folder in the Library.
When I open an Encore 2.0 project these new menu templates do show up. But when import them in the project they appear but the motion is disabled (even when I preview it).
So, how do I get the motion to work in the motion menu templates?

To all, back January 2011 in Orlando, I bought 2 Iphones locked at AT&T. In that time I paid full price without AT&T contract. Now, I contact AT&T to unlock them and they are asking me the receipts proving that I bought them with full price.
I don1t have the receipts anymore, so how can I get a copy of them?
An important detail, I live in Brazil so I can not go to the Apple Store to claim for a new copy.
Do you have any idea how I could have these receipts?

I am trying to sync a iPhone 3GS (I have 4 phones on my account) and I haven't sync'd it since October? (It's my brother's phone and he doesn't use a lot of the features and wasn't willing to give it up for me to do so) anyway, I have over the years had to get new phones (replacements and such from Apple) so when I plugged this in it ONLY gave me the option of my phone number. There was a list of other "Andrea's iPhone" but if I click on them the phone number still doesn't change to the one that matches his phone! Hence I am scared to death that my entire phone is going to load on to his and I have the 4S! I have NO idea how to fix it what to do. Do I set it up as a new phone? I think I have this posted in the wrong area, but don't know how to change it. I figured out how to download songs to my playlist in Itunes 12.1. It seems that it does not work unless I delete the songs from my library first so they are only available on icloud. Then I move the songs to the playlist. After I am done adding the songs to the playlist, I press the cloud next to the playlist and the songs are downloaded to my iphone. If I press sync first, I end up with the old playlist back on my computer minus the deletions and new songs.
I am now having problems getting my new purchases to transfer to my library. If anyone knows how to get Itunes 12.1 to do this automatically, please let me know.

How can I get the iPhone Calendar to update reminders from Outlook?

I have an iPhone 2g v2.0.2 with an Exchange account through work. Everything works flawlessly except one annoying problem: The iPhone calendar does not seem to recognize that I have dismissed or changed a reminder time in Outlook.
Example: A reminder alert appears on my computer (Windows XP/Outlook 2007/Kerio mail server). I will "Dismiss" the alert only to have it pop up again 10 seconds later presumably because my iPhone didn't get the dismissed reminder message, then syncs back to Outlook that the reminder is still active. I have even opened the item in Outlook, changed or canceled the reminder, saved the item, only to have it pop up again seconds later after the iphone reverts to the original reminder.
The only way I have found to stop this cycle is to open the item on the iPhone calendar and cancel the reminder.
Any ideas on how to solve this would be appreciated.

Did you purchase or download the apps with your old ID? Apps are tied to the ID that is was purchased from.
If it is a new app you bought with your new ID, you can go into settings - appstore- apple id and then log out.

Ask your carrier as it varies from country to country. In the USA, I don't believe any carrier maintains blacklisted IMEI numbers. All they will do is cancel the account associated with that number, but they won't track and/or block that number.
