How do i get the 3.1 gb of music off the ipod with out paying (i am a kid) If i dont get this i will have to synk and loose all my music (original pc in landfill) Thanks ahead of time

Download it and find the sub-folder Music.
Right click that and export it. Then import those files into iTunes. Do note that the file names are going to be pretty wierd (Like for example LPITE.mp3 - for the song Linkin Park In the End) but it should be fine if the names are in the files. You will know when you import it into iTunes.

I bought a new computer but only 252 of the songs show up in my itunes library on the computer but all of them show up when I plug my ipod in. How can I get all of my music into my itunes library on my computer even when my ipod isn't plugged in?

You'll need the help of some sort of third party software such as CopyTrans or Phone to PC.

You will need some sort of third-party software to 'drag' your music out of your iPod.
In order to make sure people don't use their iPods as giant portable disks to share 1000's of songs, they haven't made a function to extract your music from the device.
As said, you'll need some sort of software to do so.

They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod.
