How do I get the music on my ipod onto a new computer?
I lost itunes on my computer and had to reinstall it. I do not have all the music on my ipod backed up so if I sync I will loose this music. How can I either backup the music on my ipod or transfer the music from my ipod to the new itunes.?

What else can I do?itune blocks this function, you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between ipod and computer depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look at this review site, hope it useful.

If not then depending on which country that you are in then you might be able to re-download past iTunes music purchases from the store. Otherwise you will need a third-party program to copy them off - this post mentions some that were around a couple of years ago, I don't know whether they still exist and/or work.

How do I transfer music from my ipod to my PC without being able to access the old laptop which the ipod was previously synced to? My old laptop broke, and I want to sync my music and add everything to my new laptop, but if I try to sync my ipod with my new computer it says it is going to delete all my music. I have an old ipod with over 600 songs on it that I want to get into my itunes library. I bought a new computer but only 252 of the songs show up in my itunes library on the computer but all of them show up when I plug my ipod in. How can I get all of my music into my itunes library on my computer even when my ipod isn't plugged in?
You'll need the help of some sort of third party software such as CopyTrans or Phone to PC.
Google for other possibilities.

The ipod is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one. -

My old computer died on me with no warning signs. I didn't know or need to copy my music to another computer. I would like to know how to get the music that I bought onto my new computer without having to buy it all again. I just want to be able to get all of my music that I bought on itunes onto my computer. Right now the money ive spent is just gone and I have no music to show for it.
Go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free
