How do I get the radio to work on my nokia 6230?

Anyone got any ideas? Tried various things and just can't get it to work. Pls help!!!!!!!!!!

As mentioned above, the reason is that the FM radio uses the headphone cable as an aerial, so the phone insists on it being connected. It's the same with other Nokias. Apparently there are complicated technical reasons why the FM radio can't use the same antenna as the phone signal.

By default the setting for update options on the Windows AD tab of authentication does not actually create the aliases until the user attempts to login the first time. We set it this way to prevent a huge group of alias's being created when the administrator sets up Windows AD and also so that only user aliases for users actually using the system get created. You can change this behaviour though if you like. Simply change the radio button option to 'New Aliases will be added and new users will be created' this will create the accounts for you when you hit the update button. If you have a large group your adding I would wait until and afterhours time when you have less activity as this will impact CMS performance while it creates all the accounts.

If you have iOS 5 installed on it, you don't need a PC. simply turn it on and set it up.
if you don't have iOS 5 then you'll need a computer.

If it's not available in your country and you do not have a copy of it in iTunes backed up on your computer, you don't.

In that case the procedure assuming it is a PAYG phone is to get an o2 PAYG sim, put £20 on it and then make a few calls making sure you leave £15 on the sim to pay for the unlock. Then there is an online unlock request form on the o2 site just fill this in. It takes between 1-14 days and you get a message from o2 telling you how to complete the official unlock through iTunes.
I got my o2 unlock in nov 09 so this is not just opinion.

When I go to the radio screen the following happens 1) the radio screen appears in the backgound with a small rotating icon at its center for few seconds, 2) the screen go blank and small apple icon appears at the center of the blank screen for few seconds, and 3) the home screen reappears. Thanks for the reply. It turns out my ipod nano was defective. For some reason it rebooted every time the radio button was pressed. I tried a software restore and that failed. Since the unit was just a few days old I was able to exchange it at the retailer. The FM radio on the new unit works great.

You will have to try a recovery mode restore, for what you need a computer with the latest version of iTunes.
