How do I get the SUN Java plugin to work in Firefox 8.0 or Seamonkey 2.6?

After a recent automatic upgrade of Firefox on my Xubuntu 11.04 system, the SUN Java plugin is no longer recognized by Firefox. I tried the old method of manually symlinking the corresponding library to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and various other directories that contained plugins, but to no avail. Other plugins like Flash work fine.
Having the SUN Java plugin working is a must for me in order to be able to access my online bank, the Citrix server at my workplace, etc.

Also,
Exit Firefox and rename the '''pluginreg.dat''' in your profile folder and start Firefox again. This may help to reinitialize the plugins that Firefox recognizes.

I am a novice in Java and Forms Api (C). I am interested in a solution that would reduce the time for us to make some sweeping changes across applications and hence became interested in this. By trial and error, I got a couple of examples of the Forms Api (JDAPI) working. Now I would like to test the most important thing for us the FormDumper.java (available in online help of Form9i-JDAPI). However, I get an error like "import oracle.forms.jdapi.util.Getopt.*; "failed. There exists no classes, methods, packages called util in the f90jdapi.jar. Could somebody please help me here? The Doc example is missing some utility classes which are simply used to parse the command line options - I'll send you a zip file containing the classes offline
I also notices that a few typo's (capitalisation, extra brackets) have crept into that sample - I'll get the do corrected so it will be compilable - thanks for alerting us to this.

I always assummed that the mic was part of iSight (intertwined?). The mic is situated right next to iSight. It would seem to me the solutions would be the same some what.
Regarding the OP, I also suspect his/her problem is hardware. It's rather unusual for the internal mic to not work yet the iSight does.

You don't. Since you have an Intel Mac, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.

How do i get the share music feature to work i have already selected to share them on my network, but i went to another computer and i don't know hot to see the songs im sharing.

One computer on the network would need to have "Share my music" activated on the Sharing tab of the CTRL-, screen.
Another computer on the network would need to having "Look for shared music" activated on the Sharing tab. Then so long as there are no firewalls are other obstructions that keep one computer form seeing another, the first person's library will appear in the Source pane on the second person's computer.
The limit is five shared libraries per network.

I just did the lastest OSX upgrade. OSX 10.7.   It did a few things to Java.
1) It removed the Utility to select a Java version to run (umm, so how am I supposed to pick Java 1.5 for some old Java 1.5 apps?)
2) It made some Java 1.6 applications that I need on my desktop to do my job not work.   Anyone heard of ScrumWorksPro.? Barfing on a laf.jar that's missing from the new 1.6 version
I can't seem to 'downgrade' back to the version that worked.   Does anyone have the zip file of the old version of Java that worked? If so, where do I unzip it to.   I'm fine with launching my app from a terminal, I just need the jvm files so I can. Looks like the installer (or my attempts to get rid of the new version by doing rm -r on every Java dir I could find) has gotten rid of the old version of Java.   I just can't seem to find the installer or the zip files to get the old version.

In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload (refresh) buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, Control-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. (Merant) and have successfully tested it.
I have SUN 1.2 installed and verified that

My driver path is:

My url is

my odbc.ini is correct, and my ODBCINI is set.
when I try to connect I get "No suitable driver".
The SUN documentation indicates this error means
my shared libraries aren't correct, but I have
verified my ODBC setup with a odbc demo app.
Any suggestions on how to form my url?
