How do I get the watch to stay awake longer?

I noticed that when I am using the watch, it only stays awake for a matter of seconds before going dark. For example, I was using the Stop Watch app and while trying to time something, the watch went dark after a few seconds. This caused me to have to lower and raise my wrist again to access the app again.
How do I get the watch to stay awake longer when using some of the apps?

I Think it varies with what app you're using, I just went on the message app & left it & it lasted for a good 10/15 secs before going dark plus like what DonCote said you can always just tap the screen to get the screen back up instead of flicking your wrist. Not sure whether apple will change this as they'll want to do anything to help battery performance...

After purchasing a $70 cool watchband for my new 6th GEN NANO, I'm very disapointed that I can't get the "watch" function to stay on more than 15 seconds. AppleCare says that it isn't meant to stay on, it would run down the battery. Then why put on 16 watch faces, and show it as a "watch" on everything you publish? Doesn't make sense you can watch TV shows and movies, but doesn't have enough battery to run a watch face. BAD design, and shame on APPLE for selling a dozen different watchbands in their stores. Now don't you think the store salesman would say "are you thinking of wearing this as a watch, or to hold your NANO while you are at the gym"? 15 seconds is often not enought time to get setup and take someone's blood pressure. I don't think I need to offer an explanation of WHY a watch should work more than 15 seconds without pushing a button, do I?

This is getting silly, but I'm not too young to remember the early digital watches. The difference is that we knew what we were buying . jThey were upfont about the FACT that the watches didn't stay on. And how well did they sell as watches? Hmmm I don't think any of us said that Apple was pushing Nano primarily as a watch. That said, this is not a third party "app" either .... 18 clock faces come with the Nano as a "feature" of the product. It's not a "digital time read out"... it's made to look and act like a watch. Apples own website touts that you can change its face "to match your mood or your outfit".... The bands they sell range from $20 bucks to like $150 bucks.... This is a HUGE money maker for them. It is THESE KINDS OF FEATURES that brings people back buying new ipods, because like I said, without them, I have plenty of devices that already "record music", or "store pictures". And your other points have zero merit. Go to the Apple website to the Nano 6 page where Apple touts all of its merits. This is where Apple explains the features of their product. Please note that in some cases i have set the stage to 100% and in some in px.
Case 1 - In this I have set the position of loading image of the preloader in % and stage as 100%. You can see that the image is almost in center.. but not exactly.. resize the window and see the error magnify with higher screen resolutions.
Case 2 - In here I have made a little modification to the type2_edgePreload.js file
I have added these line in there somewhere. (inside type2_edgePreload.js file)

this keeps the preloader image centered to the page... resize the window to different sizes and compare.. It will be exactly in the middle.

This centers the stage.. (For this case refer to type3_edgePreload.js; which is same as type2_edgePreload.js)
Remember - if you open the compostion in edge the changes made to edgePreload.js will be reverted.
If you happen to revert these files by any chance. Close Edge. Make changes to edgePreload.js file and open the .html file directly to see the result.

Hey fellow Apple Geniuses - I just got the latest iMovie11 so excited for the new trailer feature, only to discover that these teenie weenie movie trailers are not near long enough for my taste, however I do like the cool transitions and layouts, so I discovered that I can convert the trailer to a project and then add more content, which I am doing right now. I need help though with the audio track... Does anyone know the secret to getting the 43 second music track to repeat, since this particular track (Friendship2) is not showing as an option in my iTunes/iMovie licensed audio to be able to keep dragging more into the movie? Is there a way of setting the backlight on my 8900 Curve so that when it is connected to the USB or Mains charger,
( and therefore not draining the battery ) the backlight stays on ?
I can only find settings in Options / Screen/Keyboard, which I have set to leave the backlight on for 90 seconds, and dim automatically ?
Obviously I don't want to leave the backlight on for longer than necessary when it is NOT connected to external power,.
I was hoping that there are either some separate settings that I haven't discovered,
which only apply when connected to external power, or failing that maybe an App that will do the job ???

When you first plug your phone in, it should go to the clock and that does stay lit. Other than that, there is no way to set the phone so that balcklight stays on.

The drop down marker at the far right displays items that you have typed.
I think that there is not much that you can do about this.
If items are replaced by others then this means that you haven't used them recently.

When I launch the dashboard Bejewelled opens, how do I get the dashboard to stay open?

Dashboard is a OS X temporary pane that appears over everything else to use widgets which Bejewelled is one of them correct?
When your done it disappears.
Hitting F12 usually opens and closes Dashboard. hitting the circle x thing brings up a row of your installed widgets, but not on the Dashboard if you didn't drag them out to use yet.
What I can gather by what your asking, is you want the widget to appear along with all your other programs right?

You can use a program called WidgetRunner that you have to find and open the widget you want to run along with all your other programs on the Desktop without needing Dashboard.
Some widgets are System installed, others are in your users folder . It operates outside of Dashboard as it's a program.

If you mean play them back with the same MIDI information, and have the MIDI channel set up to control the external JV1080, yes you can. But if you mean control the Audio levels and such, I would recommend bringing the JV1080 back into logic on a Stereo input and grouping it with the Audio Instrument.

I believe the Tape inputs of a Mackie board goes straight to the output faders. Try another set of inputs.

How do you get the display to stay on when using a transmitter to play songs on the radio? Everytime I connect the transmistter, the Zen display shuts off so I can't select and change songs without disconnecting then reconnecting to play. Are you connecting the transmitter to the player headphone jack or the AV out? From your post, it sounds like you're doing it from the AV out. If that's the case, go to the player System->Video setting and disable Video out.

How do I save the changes I have made to the settings? Also, how do I get the "Would you like to give Firefox feedback?" popup to go away?
