How do I get to a specific place in numbers?

I am working in a Numbers spreadsheet and the columns have over 4,000 entries. If I am at number 3689 is there a way to get to the top or to number 100 without scrolling back thru the entire column?

If you really need to work in excel and you need to collaborate with others in excel you should avoid the frustration and use excel. I would only recommend using Numbers if you are using it to open a file you do not intend to open in excel again OR if the document is very simple. If you paycheck or grade depends on Numbers importing or exports from/to excel you should use excel directly.

In version 12, activation is done by loading the editor (Photoshop or Premiere), supplying the serial number and signing in. Do not sign out as that deactivates that installation.
If you get a message that there is no Internet connection when there is, could be an indication that the hosts file has been modified in the past to stop Adobe contacting the authentication server - I don't know what would modify the hosts file to do that. If you do modify the hosts file, it is wise to take a copy first.
In your case, does the serial number get rejected or the sign on?

The Font is fine for pringing

Mac's don't have UI scale options like Windows has.
Either you can drop the screen resolution in Displays a wee bit and make things appear distorted, or do what I do and use the Universal Access and set a control key, then use a mouse wheel/scroll to zoom in and out where the mouse is pointed.

you can use the wi-fi on your ipod to access public wi-fi networks (or indeed unsecured private networks.) some public networks are free, others aren't. the best way to show this is to go for a walk around your neighbourhood, with your ipod wi-fi networks screen showing, refreshing every so often. you will no doubt come across numerous private wi-fi networks, most of them will be secure and will have a padlock next to them, you may strike lucky and find an unsecure one that you don't need a password to access.
google "wi-fi hotspots". this will enable you to find hotspots near you.

How do you get automation more specific

I am using a low pass filter and want to draw in automation so that the cut off frequency is at 90hz but the closest I can get is 181hz and then after that it drops 10hz even with the screen zoomed in as far as it can go.So if I can get this amount on the plug in why cant I get it the automation screen or is there a way to get the automation more specific.

I just tried it out, and it behaves erratic with automation recorded that way. The better option is to try this LowPass filter,

I dont think you can get this from OOB features...But you can use the 3rd party tool, we are using the SCOM for monitoring for our SharePoint, we get the alerts for error which we configured.

Ummm... the placeholders in prepared statements are question marks, not dollars.

And no, there's no "default" features in the API.
For every placeholder, you have to set a value, and that value will remain in place until another set, even if the preparedstatement has been executed since the last set.
You need to do your own defaulting explicitly, with if or other conditional coding.
A totally different approach to default values is possible with at least most databases; when the table is created, or thereafter, you can specify a default value for a column. However, this will only be applied on INSERT of new rows, and only when the INSERT statement doesn't have a value (including a NULL value) for that column. That might not work for you.

I cant and dont want to change the structure of the Cluster itself (to many dependances)! Any suggestions will be nice

Not too hard to do.
You are on the right track. I would recommend taking your original
cluster array passing it into a while loop and indexing at the while
loop, and then comparing the String.name value to the test value. If
the test value=String.name, then exit the loop and assign the while
loop i index as the output that you will use to index your cluster
array.
If the loop exits without test value=String.name, then the test value
was never found and you will need to have a way to deal with this case
(assign an index of -1 and then report test value not found back to
the user or something similar. (Don't try to index the cluster array
with a -1 index though.)
You will need to use a shift register and a true false selector.
Initially assign a -1 to the shift register before beginning the while
loop. If a test value=String.name=true, then use the true false
selector to assign the I index to the shift register.
The while loop is the most efficient way I can think of to do this
because the array is an array of clusters so that you have to index
the array BEFORE you can unbundle by name. Thus, you can't really use
search 1D array as far as I know. (Unless they have made it so that
you can search a cluster array for a particular cluster value. Even
then, search 1D array would expect that all components in the cluster
element would have to match the search cluster and all you care about
is a name match.)

Toolbars moved out of order, how do I get them back in place?

After a restart of Firefox 4 B10 on my Mac running OSX 10.6.6 my toolbars were no longer in the order I had them in. How can I move their position? There was once a extension for this but I haven't seen an update.

I figured it out. Click on tracks to be sycnchronized, under "modify" select stero pair, once deselect this domain one can move the two tracks sepearately and thus back in sycn. -- jl

I have been playing around with Numbers iCloud and have a long spreadsheet. The only way I have figured out to make scroll bars appear is to drag on one of the spreadsheet's borders. They appear, then disappear as soon as I get done scrolling. How can I make them stay visible or make them visible in a more elegant way?

I don't know if you're still working on this, but I finally stumbled onto a solution. I've been having the same problem using iCould Numbers on a PC in Google Chrome. I finally figured out if you 'mouse over' where they're supposed to be, they'll appear. So drag your mouse over near either the edge of that window or where the spreadsheet meets the format panel along the right edge (depends on what you have showing.) The scroll bars will faithfully appear.
