How do I get to my apple email account to verify it for Icloud

I just downloaded the new IOS5 software and my music from Itunes is not on my phone and I cannot figure out where to verify my email. I went on line and reset my password, and sent myself an email to verify, but I can't seem to figure out where my apple email account is. I have Gmail, aol accounts in my mail folders but no Apple.
Help please.

In the meantime, hold down the Menu key and Down Arrow key on the Apple remote for 8-10 seconds and release. Give the Apple TV a minute to hopefully restart back to normal.

How do I sync my non-apple email account settings (5 email addresses) with my ipad air using OS X Mavericks?

I recently acquired a new iPad air (first time ipad user) and while I am quite happy with icloud, I seem to be unable to sync all of my remaining email account settings (automatically) with apple mail under OS X Mavericks.
I simply want to use all of my email accounts, which are setup in Mail (on my imac) with my iPad without having to add them manually to my iPad. This used to be no problem with all previous versions of OS X. Email account settings could be synchronized using the respective tool located within the info tap in itunes.
Are there any solutions?
Do I really have to add each and every email account now separately to all of my idevices???

Unfortunately there seems to be no practical solution. You will have to go through the hassle of setting up your accounts manually.
Strange enough though, when setting up my new macbook (clean install, no data migration) all e-mail accounts where setup automatically through icloud (yes, even my non-apple accounts).
I guess and this is a rough guess that this is supposed to work with all other idevices too.

Prior to Mac OS 10.9 I could just sync all of my POP email accounts to my iOS device. That feature in iTunes is now gone, and according to Apple's web page the email accounts just sync over iCloud. But this is not happening for me. My address book and calendar events are all synced, but my iPad is showing no email accounts (other than iCloud). I cannot find any way to copy my account to the iPad from the Mac.
I tried restoring from a backup of my iPhone, but even that didn't restore the email accounts. It restored everything but that. Do I really have to enter all of my email account details manually on the iPad to reconfigure my mail there?

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7 or later: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)

For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

How can i get rid of my .me account but still have my .icloud account?

You have to be 13yrs. of age or older to have an iTunes account. So, if you want your daughter to have her own account, what you need to do is create another Apple ID for yourself. You can create one here:

Must be a verified email address...you can get a free Gmail account first. Then, when setting up the iTunes account, redeem an itunes gift card rather than using a credit card. That way, she'll have her own account, which you can monitor, but its not associated with any credit card.

I hope there is a fairly easy solution to this because I'm not good with computers. I cannot receive any emails on my .mac.com account as the reason states "reason for failure 550.5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias". Also it does not recognize my password. Is that what it should say? Also "description" is same info as email address. How can I be an illegal alias, I'm the only one that uses the computer

I am running on 4.2.1, and have been for several weeks. I've never had any problems with my .mac mail account before, but after I rebooted my phone this morning (for an unrelated problem, my .mac account disappeared from my phone. I checked in settings to make sure it was still set to "on" and it was. My hotmail and gmail accounts were still up and running, just not my .mac account which is my primary account. Go to the Mail/Accounts preference pane and add the account back again if it's not there. Next check the System/iCloud preference pane to make sure you have Mail checked.

I’m not sure there is raw support for your Sony model and you don’t say which Kodak you have. But for jpegs Lightroom will normally work.

Did you change the ID you are using for iCoud? If so, did you delete the account, then sign back in with your new ID on your device?

You cannot merge accounts.
You need to sign into the old account on your computer.
