How do I get to the page where I am given the option to "License This Software"? I looked around and was not able to find it.

First I tried using the installer to install the full version. I entered the correct serial number for Premiere Elements 12 and started it up, but I still had the watermark saying it was the trail version. Is there any way to remove it, or do I have to get to the licensing page?

open pre 12 > click help > click activate.

You are clicking on the wrong TM icon. Or not clicking it correctly.
Use the TM icon in the top menu area. You can always open TM preferences from System Preferences.
You can also right click OR Control Click on the TM icon in the dock.. and go to the same place.
Ie open TM preferences.
But it is not so easy as you seem to think to setup TM to backup this and not back up that.

If the Library folder is not shown in your login directory, then open a Finder window, and press command+J. This will open a Finder View Options panel. On it, there is a selectable entry to Show Library Folder. Once this is selected, the Library folder will appear. Now, follow the instructions in my May 6 post. You will have to right-click on com.apple.iWork.Pages and choose Show Package Contents, before continuing.

Part of the problem in helping is likely that there is no program Adobe -- that is the company name. You are in the Acrobat forum, but it sounds like you have subscribed to Export PDF or such, a different program. The subscription to Acrobat is currently $19.99 per month.

My issue, which I resolved and may help you was the following:
I have an IPAD 3. I took over 5 GB of pictures on a third party camera. The car was full so I imported those pictures to my IPAD 3 and deleted them from the SD card. While on IOS 5.x, the photos on the IPAD were there under last imported.
Over the last few days, I upgraded to IOS 6. No issues.
Then, my family wanted to see the pictures from the trip. I went to the IPAD and could not find the photos. It listed 40 photos only. The last imported was there, but listed as empty. When I went into the settings>usage, it listed 5GB + of photos in the photos area. I was confused. I plugged my IPAD into ITUNES, first thinking I would get a backup asap (icloud was full after importing the photos). Then I though I would downgrade to IOS 5.
Also, itunes listed that I had 40 photos only, but 5GB of OTHER data. I was convinced the data was not lost. When I tried to browse the IPAD 3 using windows browser, the photos where NOT in the DCIM folder, so I was not able to simply "FIND" the photos and copy them to my PC.
-SOLUTION-
I downloaded third party software onto my PC called "http://www.i-funbox.com/" I fun box. I had no idea if this would work, but other forums with other issues called out similar products for iphone issues.
When I installed the program, which was free, and so far free of malware, I started to explore my IPAD file system.I found my photos, under IPAD>RAW file system>DCIM>100IMPRT.
-ROOT CAUSE-
I suspect when I upgraded to IOS 6, apple fails to register the IMPORT folder of photos as such, photos. So the file system in IOS looses sight of what is inside the last imported folder. Essentially removing them from applications such as "Photos". Why windows does not seem them, is beyond me. But the program I found did see them in raw format, and I was able to COPY them to my PC. Then I deleted them from the IPAD, because I had no other way of managing this folder in IPAD, and it was using a lot of space.

I can't get rid of "bing" from opening in new tabs. How can I get a blank page to open as in the past?

Up until yesterday, I could open a new tab with a blank page. Now, every new tab opens to a bing search page and focus is in the search box. Very annoying when I begin to type a URL and have to click in the URL to continue typing. How do I get back to a blank page opening?

This May Have Been Asked but I Was Not Able to find How to Update...

I am new to the iPhone. Are updates that Apple sends out done behind the scene or will I get a notice that an update is available and follow a certain procedure to install the version update? The iPhone I recently purchased still has version 16.0 I think it said. is this the lastest OS? Are there ever any times when I will need to connect my iPhone to my MBP and open iTunes except when I want to transfer music to the iPhone? should I still be doing this occaisionally for any reason?
One question I had about a Map App. Does anybody have a recommendation on a good Map App (even know they are doing small updates to the current Map App) but I am interested in another Map App to view because I like to look at locations/Maps. for example, when Google Earth came out I thought that was so cool. Google Earth does have a street level. does anybody recommend this App or anyone in particular?

Try popping out the SIM card and turn off the phone.
Pop in the SIM card once again and turn on the phone, make sure that the SIM card is placed and seated perfectly in the tray!
