How do I get to the sleep timer settings on iPad?

THe very first time I turned on my new iPad, I was offered the chance to change the timeout value of the sleep timer; how many seconds or minutes of inactivity before the iPad puts itself to sleep. I changed it from 15 seconds to 'Never' and now I can't find the config screen that allows me to alter the value.
There must be a config screen somewhere. I remember it having about 10 settings; with 'Never' being the last.

Yes but auto lock doesnt work in BBC iPlayer or youtube for example while watching a video. What if i want it to sleep while watching something? How do i do that?

Sky is right you can restore the old backup and it will not affect the old iPad
To make sure do this:
1. If you have the old one then just turn off wi-fi and the iPad (that's just for your peace of mind)
2. Put new iPad on airplane mode (just for no interruptions )
3. Connect it (while it's on, don't shut it down)
4. Follow prompts and when it asks if you want to setup as new or restore CHOOSE: RESTORE
5. It will make its magic (just wait for it to sync, restarts, and finishes) it might ask you to update software if it does just accept
6. You can rename your new iPad like that you can have a fresh back up
7. ENJOY your new iPad

1. Do the above steps 1, 2, 3.
2. On step 4 you can choose to set up as new
3. Then you can choose what to sync on it (click on iPad on the left panel then the tabs on top you choose what you want on it (you can also do that if you restore)
4. Follow steps 5, 6, 7.
****If you don't have your old iPad you can remove it from your account ****
****Also when they sync it to a new computer it will setup as new unless they had an old one then they will restore it their old one****
****if you have it connected with your MobileMe or iCloud and you have the find my _____ you can also wipe it as soon as it comes online****

Simple answer: you can't. Basically and in general because there always will be other threads running on your computer, be they java threads or other (native) threads.
But with java there is another problem as well. Your JVM might decide to compile your byte code into native code, thus giving different run time results.
What is generally done when someone needs an estimate of the runtime of some java method is to follow the following steps:
1) Run the method a considerable number of times to alert the JVM that it might benefit from compiling byte code to native code.
2) Give the JVM some rest by invoking sleep for some time. It may use that rest to do the compilation.
3) Run the method again a couple of times and calculate the average runtime.
This will give you some idea, when you have alternative implementations, what implementation is most efficient.
I'm fullly aware that this is not scientific, but it helps me sometimes,

Sign out of the App Store, close the App Store app and reboot the iPad, sign in again and then go back and try again.
Settings>iTunes and App Store. Tap your Apple ID and sign out.
Close the App Store. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Go go back to Settings>iTunes and App Store. Sign in again. Go to the App Store and see if the apps appear for downloading now.

When creating a book in iphoto, how can I get all the photos from the album I want to use to show up in the order that they are in the album? When I tried to use the option to add my own photos instead of having the program "flow" them, they showed up all mixed up.

iPhoto puts them in the book in chronological order. So to get your photos from an album into an iPhoto book in the same order you will need to use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option and set them all to the same date with a 1 minute time difference between each.

Depending on which soundcard you have there, but if your card is capable for
ASIO -> activate I/O drivers on Sonar/Options/Audio/Drivers -tab (mic/line sources should be listed there --> activate) and select the mic or/and Line sources on tracks "I" - dialog
WDM/KS -> use the Surround Mixer or windows recording controls for recording source selection (mic should be listed there)
MME32 - > same w/ WDM/KS
If you use Asio4All --> same w/ WDM/KS & MME32
No mic and line source simultaenously w/ WDM/KS and MME32.
You perhaps be able to do this w/ kX drivers.

You can also install modded version of Audigy 2 drivers/software but I have never done this w/ Li've! 5. so I can't be sure if you get ASIO support for your card.

How can I get back the Web Clip widget in Dashborad?

I accidentally deleted the Web Clip widget together with the Web Clip.wdg in Library/Widgets/ folder by AppCleaner some time ago. Now I cannot use this function to clip content in pages. I have the widget icon in Safari and can crop the webpage without problems, but after I did this action, nothing appeared or happened in the Dashboard since the original web clip widget file is gone.
I would like to know where and how I can get back the Web Clip.wdg file so that I can perform the Web Clip function again?
I just saw a user who posted a similar topic on Dec 28, 2008 and his/her problem is solved. I have this same problem like his/hers.
I would appreciate if anyone can help me, thanks!

I have tried to use Time Machine to get back the Web Clip but still couldn't, and very strange is when I click Time Machine, I can only choose Windows Applications as the back up disk but not Macintosh Applications, so I cannot restore anything from Macintosh applications.
I think the best is if anyone has this widget on their Mac and can kindly send it to me by e-mail?
I would appreciate it so much.
