How do I get to the sub directories in my imac
I have documents that the Open Office application marked as /.Trash/ They are not in the trash and the trash has not been emptied and I cannot find them in "Finder" or by search. Someone told me they are probably in a subfolder but I can't get to the subfolders. How do I pull them up?
Specifically what subdirectory are you looking for. I'd suggest your issue may be with using Open Office, have you attempted any help forums from that app?

the last few times I imported photos, the backup location was set to "documents" with no sub-folders. How do I get them into sub-folders - like year and month?

I have been looking around php.net for a bit and can not work
out how i list the files that are in a directory i.e.
www.site.com/directory/
I would like the names of each file to be placed in an array,
but not to have the sub directories in this list should there be
any.
I was given some code a while ago that done this but it
listed the sub directories and i would like them not in this list.
I do not have this code anymore and do not know where i got
it, so i can not get it amended to what i need.
please can someone tell me what line of code i should be
using.

If you migrated your MobileMe account before 1 August you should have signed into System Preferences>iCloud with it, and you would be able to see your calendars, bookmarks and emails on the iCloud website. Is this the case? Did you sign into iCloud with your @me.com address?
If you did not migrate your MobileMe account you can no longer do so.
If you did migrate, did you do so from a full MobileMe account or from a Family Pack sub-account? the latter did not get the complimentary storage (because their iDisks were only 5GB anyway).
If you had a full MobileMe account, check on your Mac - System Preferences>iCloud - and see whether that shows the upgrade. If it doesn't, you probably need to contact Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support (MobileMe Support is no longer available) and you may be asked to pay a fee: in this case you should ask them to deal with it without cost (and hope they agree).
Note that you haven't paid anything for your MobileMe storage since your first renewal date after 6 June 2011, and iCloud costs nothing unless you specifically choose to upgrade the storage. 1.For Sub-sontracted products ,the cost of that product = Raw-materials cost (which are sent to the third
party) + External processing cost(as per the cost mantained in ME11 for sub-contracting).So if the raw
materials cost is Rs 10 & the processing charges are Rs 25 means then the sub-contracted product cost
= 10+25 = Rs 35.
2. For sub-contracted Product you will be getting only the sub-contracting cost and not the manufacturing
cost.It will be having only raw material cost and sub-contracting charges.

once X is received ,its used for manufacturing Y ,So if you check the cost of Y it will having the sub-
contacted item (X) cost + Internal processing cost (operation cost for producing Y),so if you check for Y it

How can I get just the text to resize, rather than the entire web page?
I used to be able to re-size just text on a webpage by typing Ctrl + +. Today, the entire webpage re-sizes, and when I move to another page it reverts. (I see this mostly in Facebook.). Why did this change, and can I go back to having just the text re-size?

I spilled water on my laptop and my "i", "j" and "k" letters don't work on my laptop. However my main problem is that my password contains an "i" so i am locked out of my computer. Any ideas how I can get around the password and login. I tried the method where you go into single user mode and type in commands, however that method uses some of the letters that are not working on my laptop.
You didn't mention which version of OS X your running but there are password reset utilities provided OS X: Changing or resetting an account password (Snow Leopard and earlier) - Apple Support or OS X: Changing or resetting an account password - Apple Support
Alternately you can use an external keyboard to log in and change the password. Make a backup if you don't have one, it's likely that your problems aren't over. If that water continues to migrate downward and fries the logic board your macbook will be toast. -
When creating a book in iphoto, how can I get all the photos from the album I want to use to show up in the order that they are in the album? When I tried to use the option to add my own photos instead of having the program "flow" them, they showed up all mixed up.
iPhoto puts them in the book in chronological order. So to get your photos from an album into an iPhoto book in the same order you will need to use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option and set them all to the same date with a 1 minute time difference between each.

You need to transfer your domain.sites file from your MacBook to your iMac. This is the file where iWeb stores all info and can be found under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites.
Transfer this file from your MacBook to the same place on your iMac and double click the domain.sites file and iWeb will open it on your iMac and you can update your site from there too. -

All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library regardless if you select a single album or folder of photos to be transferred or multiple albums or folders. The photos on the albums or folders of photos include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. The photos are not duplicated taking up double the storage space. This way you can view the photos in an album or folder of photos only by selecting the album or folder, or all photos in all albums or folders by selecting Photo Library.
Makes more sense when transferring multiple albums or folders of photos which cannot be changed when transferring only a single album or folder of photos.
The same applies with iTunes and music playlists. A song can't be in a playlist unless it is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song. -
How do I get all the music on my IMAC in one ITUNES folder? We have one IMAC, with 3 sign ons for me and my 2 teens. When you add a song under one of the sign ons it doesn't add it to all 3 libraries. Before I updated to LION, We had one main library with all the songs we bought, imported from cd's etc. Then any of the three of us could add it to our own IPOD instead of buying the song agin. It is one house, one IMAC. It was working fine under Leopard.
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

Iphone are meant to be sync to one itunes library only.
You can copy those songs to a cd and then put a copy to your itunes media library.
