Ok how do i get videos from limewire to videora.
Can someone explain to me
that might be what im doin wrong

First of all Limewire isnt illegal because it uses the money from the ads pay for the songs.
Second Its really simple.
After you download the video from limewire open up your videora iPod Converter.
From there click on the "Convert" tab in the left display panel
You will see a "Transcode New Video" button. Click on that and it should bring you to a folder of all your videos. If you dont see the video you want to convert then click on the dropdown arrow where it says "Files of Type" and select all files and choose from there
Once you select your movie click open
Then click the start button right near the "Transcode New Video" button
Wail till your download is finished(this could take hours or seconds so be patient)
Once your video is done being converted click the "Setup" tab to the left.
Find where is says "Output Videos To" and copy the destination.
Paste that destination in internet explore and it will bring you to the folder with the converted movies
Bring into iTunes and enjoy
Make sure you have the specific iPod Converter from Videora

are you using the transfer video facility in PC Suite ? Select it and under Tools select 'scan your PC for videos'. Select the video you want to put on your phone from the list and then select the option to "convert into mobile format and copy into my video collection" by clicking on the monitor icon bottom right. Video will convert, then click on 'my video collection' from left hand menu and you should see the video in a new list. Select the video and then the transfer to phone icon. This has always worked fro me so far.

No - that is your iTunes application preferences.
With your iPhone connected to iTunes, select your iPhone under Devices in the iTunes source list to bring up your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes in the main iTunes window. Under the Movies tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select Sync Movies and select the movie or movies below that you want transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.
Have you never owned and iPod? If so, the same applies for syncing an iPhone with iTunes as with an iPod.

I'm doing a sound design job and I've been sent an OMF. Is there video in the OMF? do I need Avid or Final Cut or something to access that? In the past I've worked off a QT movie.

logic does not access video from OMFs. it is audio only. you must also make sure that the audio is properly rendered and conformed - all sample rates should be the same and probably bit rates as well. logics handling of OMFs is not good either going in or going out. AAF is safer but you must make sure that the project starts are exactly the same. no negative bars, no audio before the project start of destination app.

I upgraded to 5.1 and iCloud, photostream etc, but am finding it much more complicated than the previous way I sync'd my iPhone.
I used to plug in my phone, press Sync, all my photos would zoom from my Camera Roll to iPhoto, including any videos I had taken on my iPhone, then it would ask me if I wanted to delete the contents of my Camera Roll. Apart from the fact that I would have liked to 'protect' a few photos before deleting them all, this worked well.

I am sorry that I can't understand this, but I thought the point of Apple was that it was based on an intuitive system. It used to be, because (as you can tell!) I am not techy, and yet it all worked perfectly and I have been yelling about it from the rooftops since 2003.

i've connected the camera to the mac using the supplied usb cable. imovie shows 5 icons for videos but all of them have the red circle with slash through them and the box to import them is grayed out.

Get a nice Sony miniDV camcorder. It is not too expensive; it is small and easy to carry around to shoot your video. Most importantly, it will be instantly compatible with iMovie. You don't have to install any software, just connect it via FireWire (Sony calls this iLink) and you are good to go!
I have had several Sonys and love them. You don't need one with fancy editing capabilities because you will edit your movies in iMovie. Just be sure that it has AV In and Out so you can import and export back to the camcorder.
My current version is the small DCR HC-26. There are newer versions of that HC-30something and 40something. Look at the specs on Sony's website
Some of them require the use of a dock to import and export. I am not really fond of that feature. I like just connecting directly to the camera.

I don't think my camera has that connection. It's a JVC Mini DV camera- very inexpensive.I just purchased it recently. It has an Audio Video output connector, DC input, Digital Video Connector(DV in/out). Are there some inexpensive DVD/VHS combos available or am I better off with some sort of converter?

Videos are presumably in the "Video" rather than "iTunes" directory; you should be able to just navigate around in that directory for the file you want rather than replacing the entire directory as that article suggests (in which case you'd want to omit the "moving the directory to the desktop" steps, and so forth).
