How do I get WAV files to play in Outlook Web app?

I have a player that will play WAV files, but when I select and hold the .wav file in a mail message, the option to "Open In.." doesn't show up and the file won't play. I'm using an iPad 2 with the latest iOS and latest Safari. When I try to play the attached file, the iPad brings up a black screen with the play button in the middle with the international NO sign ( circle with diagonal line) through it.

I tried the Microsoft TechNet support for help but their site is completely incompatible with Safari on an iPad. You can get a Windows Live ID and navigate to the forums page on TechNet but all of the forum links pull up blank white pages on the iPad. The whole experience on the MS support site is horrible on an iPad. You'd think with over 60 million iPads out there they'd do a little testing on an iPad.
So I'm looking for help from my fellow Mac/iPad users

That is very helpful, thanks. However, that ends up presenting two other problems...
Initially, the original .wav file has to be downloaded somewhere, how does one download a file from Safari to the phone and then open the file with the app? Is there any way to configure iOS to always use an app for a particular file type? How does iOS handle file types? Do you know why safari does not allow add-ons? Can I configure another app as the 'default' browser?

How do you get the files to play continuously? I created multiple slide shows in IPHOTO. I added them to IDVD and I cannot get them to play one right after another. Instead it goes to the main menu after each slide show.

Did you add them all at the same time into the slideshow area?
First, click on the + sign on iDVD's main menu, then select 'Add slideshow' and put all of them into the drop area. Now they will play continuously.
Here is a visual image from Old Toad that shows multiple videos in the slideshow drop so they will play one after the other, but it is the same for your slideshows:

Would anyone know how to fix my iPhone, so when i get a voice email message (voice-message.wav)It says "This movie could not be played" it is not a movie it is a .wav file in Quicktime??

As far as I am aware, iPhone will support MPEG -4 video, MP3 and AAC audio formats.
I have had voicemail messages, though not through email, all played fine on my iPhone.

Are you by chance using sub-folders under the VOD app? That was the mistake I made. Example:

The Alchemy plugin from CamelAudio is no longer available. You can use Szforzando from Plogue. First install szforzando. Then start Garageband and the plugin will be available. (If you had GarageBand open when you installed szforzando, close it and re-open.) To open the plugin and use it on a track, follow these steps.
1.Select the track to use
2. Open the Smart Controls
3. Click the Inspector button (with an "i" on it).
4. Below "Keyboard Sensitivity," click Plugins. You may have scroll the window to see it, or expand the window.
5. Select Instrument/All Instruments/Plogue Art et Technologie/szforzando/stereo. The plugin will open.
6. Click the "File" window, which should say "empty." A menu pops up with three options: import, empty, reload. Select import.
7. Navigate in your file system to an sfz. file and open.
8. Now the sfz sounds should play through the GarageBand controller, e.g, command-K keyboard.

How do you get music files to play on iTunes 10.5?

Every time I click on the song it shows that it's going to start playing but it doesn't actually start. It shows that the song is at 0 seconds but the play button is on.

I have obviously tried that, and it still won't play. According to the top, it's playing, but the status bar of the song that shows where in the song it's up to isn't moving and the song isn't actually playing. The volume is turned all the way up, so I'd hear if something started to play.

Presuming they're on your computer, right click on them and then follow the prompts to locate hte file on your computer.

Don't drag the midi into an open Logic project. The tracks won't set up correctly.
'Open' the midi file with Logic as if it were a Logic project. Then all the tracks will be set up so you can start editing them and applying better saved sounds and instruments, but you'll be at a starting place where you can hear what's going on.
