I do not want Firefox as my home page...It has also wrapped itself around the Internet Explorer Icon on my desktop.
I do not want to install another program.

The ability to see and send calendar invites is a function of the calendar you are subscribing to and who owns it. We need more information, like what calendar are you subscribing to? MS Exchange? Google? Mobile Me?

My Powerbook was the same. Only fix is to reinstall OSX from the install CD but be sure not to pick the Format and install clean. Once you boot with the install CD pick the preserve user data and settings.
On My machine the reinstall looked perfect. My network, email, files and all the programmes were all there. Most apps worked fine but Adobe CS2, Virtual PC and NetBarrier all needed reinastallation as they reported a few files or registration was missing. I went for the 10.4.3 upgrade again and it worked fine.

Somehow I cannot start my homepage with firefox.I had been able to start and firefox would be there. Now I have to hit run on mozilla icon to bring up.How do I get back to being able to have firefox come up as my home page?
Colson-I'm confused. I am trying to get back to where I was before I had problems. I had att.net as homepage and was using firefox. Before,all I did was click start and enter my password and my homepage of att.net would appear. Now,I sign in with password and have to click on mozilla icon and start connection that way. You do not have to repurchase the software. You can download it and reinstall. Where you get it from depends on where you got it from originally. If you purchased a licensed version then here are a couple links that might include your version:

Okay , I Got My iPhone Last Year. I Reset It And Used It Sort Of Like An iPod. I Got My Phone Taken Away From Me For A Month, I Later Then Forgot My Password. I Set My iPhone As Reset If Password Incorrectly Entered 10 Times. While Trying To Unlock My iPhone, I Entered My Password Incorrectly For The 10th Time. It Facotry Reseted. Now I Tried To Restore It But Failed. I Connected My iPhone To iTunes And iTunes Failed To Assist Me. Now I Connected My iPhone To My Wifi And Still Failed To Assist Me. But Earlier, I Tried Again With My Wifi And It Said SIM Card Is Not Able To Be Read. My T-Mobile SIM Card , I Have Been Using For A While In My Phone Non- Activated. Now, I Will Getting It Activated This Weekend. But I Pondering Wether My Phone Is Compatiable With T-Mobile, Because Of My SIM Card.

I have tried all the optons to change the home page, but when I exit from Firefox and restart, it will revert to the iZip search engine home page. I even deleted the izip search engine reference from the searchplugin directory but with no success
You can open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location bar and do a search for <i>jzip</i> via the Filter at the top of the about:config page.<br />
You can reset all <i>jzip</i> related prefs via the right-click context menu to their default values.
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily. -
How do i get safari to open to home page
after update to Lion, whenever i open Safari, it opens to the last page or tabs viewed rather than my home page. The only work around i've found is to close the browser windows before quitting. By doing that, Safari will open in homepage. If i just quit safari, it will not.
Hello:
Go to system preferences>general. Uncheck "restore windows when quitting and reopening apps."
Note that this is a global change - for Safari and everything else.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server. Any difference? If not...
2. Clear Firefox's Cache Completely
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
3. If needed, remove the site's cookies in this dialog
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help? -

This is ONE of the MANY reasons, I have held off on getting and iPhone. Because the ONLY option in getting the music onto it, is by using itunes, instead of just being able to drag and drop. This is annoying as F***.
I paid for and downloaded a ringtone from the iTunes store. It was working fine. Then I hoooked up my iphone to my bf's laptop, competely forgetting that it had already been synced to MINE, which is broken and toasted. For some reason, it deleted everything off my phone, I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how the **** to get music back onto my iphone using itunes. It's NOT a user friendly program, and being a computer savvy as I am.....I HATE USING IT. But unfortunately, I don't have a choice. So, I was able to get the two ringtones that I created with my free ringtone maker app BACK into my phone. But go figure, the one that I actually paid for, I can't get back on. It was in my itunes, and on my iphone...but had the exclmation mark beside it. I have already gone to the support page and followed the instructions for retrieving it. I have manually deleted it from my computer SINCE this discovery, by deleting it from itunes. So....to make sure yall are understanding this...I tried tracking it down by searching my computer....and I couldn't find it, although it was still listened on BOTH my itunes on my laptop AND in my iphone. I trued to manually delete it from the iphone....wouldn't work. So i manually deleted it from itunes.
My question is this....
HOW ON GODS GREEN EARTH DO I GET IT BACK!!!!????

It's stupid that Apple has completely restricted us. -sighs gritting her teeth- I just want my ring tone back. That's it. I can't even figure out how to redownload it....or if I can even do that.

CERNever mind I fixed it. Just in case anyone else has this problem, after you reinstall iTunes you have to delete all your old music, and if you have iTunes match all the songs you have saved on itunes match will display and you just have to download them to your Macbook.
