How do I group related bookmarks (roses, iris, crocus) under a single bookmark (flowers)? I have W7 and FF10.

I fail to see how I could be more succinct--I'll give another example: Let's I have several bookmarks, eg Chevy, Ford, Audi, Porsche, Jeep, etc. Assume I want to reduce the size of my total bookmark list. In some previous version(s), I could go to ORGANIZE, create a NEW folder, name it, for example, AUTOMOBILES and drag/drop the individual bookmarks (Chevy, Ford, Audi eg) into the new AUTOMOBILE folder. I am unable to find how to do this now. I am minded of my days in the corporate world. The IT department, (then EDP) referred to everyone else as USERS in a very aloof elitist manner--we could never ask a even a question, it seemed, without their helping us to restate, using their specific acronyms and jargon! Go to Bookmarks & click on Show All Bookmarks - this gives you the same format as the previous Organize did, you can create folders for your bookmarks here.

How can I move App Tabs to the bottom, where the other bookmark toolbars are? Or, how can I put my bookmark toolbars in two rows and forget the App Tabs?

I have several bookmarks on my toolbar, and my most often used ended up in a pull-down menu, which is annoying. I tried to click and drag them onto the menu bar, because there was room for more icons, but they won't budge. Nothing under "Toolbars" was helpful. Help would tell me to right click on my toolbar and then click on "Customize"...which didn't come up as an option. I would really like all my toolbar bookmarks (I only have about 10) to be visible on the actual toolbar, not hidden away in a small pulldown tab.
There is a plug-in that enables you to put bookmarks in two rows on your toolbars, but it is not compatible with my version of FF (7.0.1).
App Tabs are cute, but I don't like them on top where they take up room where I have the tabs for various websites open (I usually have several open at a time). App Tabs are fixed and don't scroll over like website tabs, which is extremely annoying, and hence why I 1)would like to move them to the bottom of the toolbar or 2)be able to display all my bookmarked toolbars --which is what I prefer.
BTW, I have Windows 7.

App tabs are special tabs and are always displayed at the left end of the tab bar.
You can place all bookmarks that you want to see on the Bookmarks Toolbar in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder. 
You can do that in the side bar or the Bookmarks manager if you can't do it on the Bookmarks Toolbar. 
Most Visited is a special (smart) folder that shows websites that you've visited and that aren't necessarily bookmarks, so you can't drag them on the bookmarks toolbar unless you first bookmark them. You can do that by opening them in a tab and clicking the star on the location bar twice and choose the Bookmarks Toolbar as the destination folder.

I have a current iPhone 5 with all my apps and games at certain levels, how do I use iCloud to transfer current game levels as only a few games have transferred and other games want me to start all over again on my new iPad?

I currently have an iPhone 5 that I play games on regularly and I have just bought the iPad 4 and I want to transfer all my game progress from the iPhone to the iPad. I have turned on iCloud on both devices and backed up and while all my games transfer only some of the games maintain progress where others want me to start all over again. I pretty sure I doing something wrong... Can some help or give me idiot proof guidance on how do do this successfully. I'm generally pretty tech savvy but this has me stumped and iCloud is ment to be easy to use.

I would not be able to give you idiot proof guide, since different games are different. Some of them have icloud integrated already, but those already taken care of. Some of them use specific logins and once you log - you get your info. General recommendation is to contact support sites of those games for enabling icloud instructions or enabling of transfer. There are other purely apple ways - like sync your phone in itunes and then sync apps with ipad, but those are only one time transfer. There is another way that is not typically recommended - restoring ipad from iphone backup. It may transfer your game content, but once again sync in the future has to be done by game.
So if I were you, I would address that individually with every game provider.

How can I click on "Bookmarks" in the Menu bar and it simply display my actual bookmarks rather than making me open another window and search for it?

Just dl FF 6.x. I finally found the Bookmarks drop down by adding the Menu bar. Now, I want to click on "Bookmarks" and then simply scroll down my list of bookmarks in the dropdown. As it stands now, I have to click on "Show All Bookmarks" or "Unsorted Bookmarks" just to be able to get to my bookmarks. A huge wate of time and effort. Any way to do this like the "old way". Or I as I say it, the way that works?

The Bookmarks sidebar is the same organization PLUS providing the same ability to search on strings within titles and url as you have on the Location Bar drop-down (AwesomeBar features).
To see the same on the sidebar

Same organization, don't see how you can be lost. You may prefer the always collapsed Bookmarks (menu).
To put things back to how you were used to, which is more efficient and takes up the same amount of space if you use styling in addition to steps 1-10 when compared to the inadequately featured poorly designed 4.0 style.

Which kind of backup did you do? A backup from the Bookmarks Organizer or a backup using the program MozBackup?
If you used MozBackup, you need to install it on the new computer to decode the backup. http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
If you used the Bookmarks Organizer, you might just need to add .json to the end of the file name.

How can i get my bookmarks back, after mozilla crashed and got stuck in safe mode?

I was using mozilla as usual when suddenly it crashed and then my computer turned off. i restarted it and said it had gone into safe mode. i tried to restart the computer again but it was stuck on safe mode.
The bad part is that all my bookmarks are gone and apparently there is no way of getting them back.

my computer started bugging and then I was obliged to restart it but the computer proposed me to refresh because my computer does not start well and I did it and i hadto reinstall mozilla. now my problem is that i lost all my bookmarks and i really want to have them back because they are important. i tried all i can to restore them but without success

If for instance you reformatted the hard dive and reinstalled the Windows 8 Operating System then unless you had a backup disk image or specific backups elsewhere of Firefox data then you will have lost your bookmarks.
It depends rather on what you did when you refreshed the computer and reinstalled Firefox.
Firefox itself tries to keep bookmark backups, and WIndows tried to keep some previous versions of files.
Please try to give more detailed information about what you did.

How to recover song that are "lost", itunes can't find them even though I have downloaded and played them before

Does anyone know how to recover songs that itunes has "lost"?
I downloaded them, synced my ipod, songs were added and I was able to play them.
On a recent sync the songs are suddenly "not found" according to itunes. I can't locate them in the itunes folder, so I have no idea where itune put them. BTW-this is not the first time itunes stored songs in a random directory...... Since itune can't find them, they were deleted from my ipod

Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.

Once you copy the Domain.sties file from your friend's computer to yours consider the following:
In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

The apple support doesnt mention creating new bookmark folders or what to do if you lose your bookmark folders.

As you just upgarded to Windows 7, please make sure SP1 is also installed on all systems and install the following hotfix rollup for Windows 7 SP1:

There was a known issue on Windows 7 which affected shared folders, that newly created or deleted files are not reflect in network folder immediately, which seems similar to your error. If issue still exists after SP1 and hotfix rollup please help confirm:
1. If this issue occurs only on DFS folder in accessing with \\domain.com\namespace. Could you reproduce the same issue in accessing \\server\sharefolder?
2. Will the same issue occurs after disabling Offline Files if it is enabled.

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. 
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

Palm Pre - Here is how to create a web bookmark to launch a streaming audio site

Once you have a URL that you have confirmed as working with the Pre to play streaming audio, unfortunately you can't create a bookmark when playing the streaming audio. Here is a way you can create a bookmark to easily launch the site again to play the streaming audio:
My example is for WHYY the PBS station in Philadelphia.
You can either create a new bookmark or use an existing one you don't use. If you create a new bookmark you can set an icon you want to use.
Use this process if you are creating a new bookmark.
1a. I entered the URL for WHYY, http://www.whyy.org, so I could create an icon with the visual for WHYY. This step is not necessary and doesn't need to be related to the streaming audio content, it just allowed me to get the icon I wanted.
1b. With the WHYY site loaded I choose Menu>Add Bookmark
1c. I touched on the icon at the top of the window and adjusted the boundaries to just include the WHYY logo
2. I then touched in the URL line and changed the URL to http://207.245.67.204/listen.pls
3. I then touched the "Add Bookmark" button
Use this process if you are using an existing bookmark that you want to recycle. This bookmark will not be usable in its old form again.
1a. Within a web card tap Menu>Bookmarks to display the existing bookmarks.
1b. Find the bookmark you want to use and tap the information button, "i", at the right
2. Then tap in the URL line and change the URL to http://207.245.67.204/listen.pls
3. Then touch the "Add Bookmark" button
That's it. You can now choose "Web" from the Launcher and touch the new bookmark and the streaming audio will launch.
