How do i have a vBox shadow over another vBox
alright, I have two vBox lined up in an application layer and
i have the vertical gap of the application layer set to be 0. now,
i wanna make the top vBox to have a shadow over the bottom one. how
do i accomplish that? plz help!

remember that the last item added to any container will be
displayed over anything before it. The mxml markup for the white
vbox is listed last so it's placed on top. To get the orange vbox
to be on top, simply place its markup after the white vbox...(I
think I'm making this sound more confusing than it really is...)

sounds like a carrier issue, especially if you had problems with another brand of phone. Not much you can do but report it to your carrier.

Open image A
Open image B
On image B, use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object which you wish to "superimpose"
Go to Edit menu>copy to put the object on the clipboard
Go back to image A
Go to Edit>paste. The object will be on its own layer
Get the move tool out of the toolbox, and position the object and resize, if indicated -

Purchases using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID. Purchases are forever tied to that Apple ID used. You have to decide which Apple you want to use for purchases and stick to that Apple ID so that you can share: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID : > use the same Apple ID here to share purchases.

My storage is mostly full of a category labeled "other." I'm out of memory to the extent that it won't even allow me to update apps. I have moved all photos over to my computer and my music streams through the cloud. Any advice on how to fix this problem?

If I close a window I should be back at the previous window that I was at when I followed a link to this window. At least that's the way Internet Explorer works, which I have used for years. The only thing that prevents me from using Firefox exclusively is that it is very time consuming to have to start all over again from scratch every time I close a window. For instance, say I type "cats" into the search box. It gives me links to a list of "cats" sites. I go to a "cats" website, decide I don't like it so close the window to return to my list of sites, but instead of returning me to the list, I end up at my desktop. Then I have to start all over, just like I had not even been online. Very aggravating. I don't know how else to describe the problem, I can't believe that other people haven't had a similar complaint, unless I just have some settings wrong?
Now up to Firefox 8 and the problem persists. Cannot go to the www.turnitin.com page and login as I used to do -- Firefox does not remember my username or password.
Still works on Windows, and with other browsers... It would be great if a fix is available. -

How can I get updates for Photoshop CS5 to download to my new Mac book pro where CS5 is already installed from my original disk? I have tried many times over 2 days. The Adobe auto updater is highly unreliable.
You need to look for and download the update yourself and then manually apply it as per the detailed instructions on the download page:

Have down loaded Yosemite over Mountain Lion. Indesign CS5 does not operate although Bridge, Light room and also Photoshop elements operate OK A sub menu from Indesign request Java SE 6, after a long play with Apple I end up with Java 10 How can I solve this problem rapidly. When I turn on my wifi in top bar and connect,minutes later I get an annoying pop up notification letting me know I'm connected, AGAIN. It freezes everything including psswds and I have to start all over. This is petty, but how do I shut this popup off?

Can you take a screenshot of the pop-up notification?
To take a screenshot hold ⌘ Shift 4 to create a selection crosshair. Click and hold while you drag the crosshair over the area you wish to capture and then release the mouse button. You will hear a "camera shutter" sound. This will deposit a screenshot on your Desktop.
If you can't find it on your Desktop look in your Documents or Downloads folder.
If you want to attach a screenshot to a response here, click the "camera" icon above the text field:
This will display a dialog box which enables you to choose the screenshot file (remember it's on your Desktop) and click the Insert Image button.
⌘ Shift 4 and then pressing the space bar captures the window the cursor is on.
⌘ Shift 3 captures the entire screen. -
Photostream Issue - I have had several phones over the years all backing up via iCloud/Photostream. It seems that the oldest of my photos and videos are simply gone and I cannot seem to figure out how to get access to them. Why is this happening? Is there anything I can do to get them back? I'm freaked out by the thought that I am paying for what I thought was a safe place for my photos to be stored and accessed later but now see that there are nearly 500 pictures/videos gone from my photostream folder. Photo Stream is not a respository for archiving photos. It is a cloud storage device that will store the last month or last 1000 photos taken by any device on the same Apple ID, and then will "share" those photos with all other devices that have Photo Stream turned on,and that are logged onto the same Apple ID.
iCloud backups will contain all of the photos that were on your camera roll the last time you backed up your device.
If you have photos outside of the Photo Stream parameters, and they are not all on your current camera roll, then you have no way to retrieve them unless you have imported them to the computer you sync with or have uploaded them to some other cloud service like DropBox.
