How do I hook up Prem 310 to router?

Question

I followed dir on printer to hook up but it keeps coming back that either it timed out (for PIN) or else there was an error for push button hook up.  Won't tell me what I did wrong, tho.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I understand that you are having a problem getting your Photosmart Premium C310a onto your home wireless network.
To get the printer connected to your network please follow the steps below:
1)   Touch the Setup icon ( ) on the printer control panel, touch Network , and then touch Wireless Setup Wizard . The Wireless Setup Wizard searches for networks, and then displays them in a list.
2)   On the list of available networks, touch the network name (SSID) corresponding to your network.
If the network name does not appear in the list, follow these steps:
     a)  Touch Enter New Network Name . The on-screen keyboard displays on the control panel.
     b)  Enter the network name (SSID) using the on-screen keyboard, and then touch Done .
3)   If prompted, type the WPA or WEP key, and then touch Done .
NOTE:          Make sure that you type the uppercase (capital) and lowercase (small) letters exactly. Otherwise, the wireless connection fails.
The printer prints a Network Configuration Page to confirm a successful connection.
