How do i hook up Wireless headphones to ipod?

I just recently bought some wireless headphones (B-GO2 Bluetooth stereo active headset) but my ipod touch will not read them.  What do i need to do?

Does the headset support either the A2DP or Hand Free Profile (HFP) and are supported by the iPod?

  • How do you hook up wireless headphones so you can listen to Apple TV and satellite

Currently I have a direct tv satellite receiver and an Apple TV box.  I'm trying to hook up sony wireless headphones so I can hear both of them.  I watch Netflix on the Apple TV and normal TV viewing on satellite.  I'd like to be able to toggle between the two, and for the life of I cannot figure it out how to wire it up.  I have no issues getting them to work on the satellite receiver, but it's a no go for the Apple TV.
I have two audio ports on the back of the TV (one red and one white - doesn't specify in or out) and one optical port.
I also have a port a 3.5mm jack could go into and it says "services"

How do I connect Sony wireless headphones model rf970 to my ipad?

By the looks of it they are not Bluetooth wireless headphones. You will have to plug the iPad into the base station's audio input jack.

  • Wireless Headphones For Ipod touch 4g

    Hi,
I was wondering if you need an ipod adaptor to use wireless bluetooth headphones.
I have the new ipod touch 4g and i want to buy wireless headphones.
i was wondering, do i have to buy an adaptor .....since the ipod has bluetooth itself?
Also, what are the various things you can do with the bluetooth of an ipod touch 4g?
    Thanks for the help

Ipod touch supports bluetooth stereo headphones/speakers (A2DP) and some peer-to-peer apps.

You do not need an adapter for stereo headsets ( A2DP).

  • How do I hook up Sony Headphones Model MDR-RF985R to a Panasonic TV Model Nbr TC-L37C22?

We purchased these Sony headphones for my 86 year old uncle.  He claims that the Audio output on his Panasonic TV is not compatible with the headphone cables.  We are miles away and cannot physically help him, but we are trying to assist by telephone.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Solved!

Thank you for the instructions.  Apparently the instructions do not work with his TV because the audio ouput jack is a different type of connection on the Panasonic TC-L37C22.  We solved the problem by having him plug the headphones into the audio output on his PVR instead of the TV.

  • How to hook up a Sony RF Wireless Headphone

I want to hook up my Sony RF Wireless Headphones to my television system.  All inputs to the TV -  including Direct TV and various DVD players - are HDMI through a Yamaha Tuner.  The HDMI inputs are digital and there is no analog audio output availabe on the tuner or TV to interface with the headphones.  Do you have any suggestions on how I can hook up the RF wireless headphonees to my system?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.
The Sony Wireless RF headphones should have a base where the headphones attach and charge. The same base should have RCA inputs(RED/WHITE) where the RCA from the TV AUDIO OUT should be placed. The TV must have AUDIO OUT for the headphones to operate correctly. If you need further assistance please contact Sony Support  for any further assistance.

What do y mean by still works? No sound from speaker or headphones ro all apps? If try then it really does not work.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

How many sets of wireless headphones can I connect to my iPad at one time?

Did you mean Bluetooth? One. Did you mean FM or infrared, driven from the 3.5mm output jack? Any number of them, assuming you use the same frequency to receive the stream.

  • Wireless Headphones with 32C120U how do I connect them?

I am interested in buying these headphones (http://www.sennheiserusa.com/stereo-TV-wireless-headphones-rs120_009922) to listen to my television in my dorm room since I have a roommate with another TV. I like to watch Hulu on my Xbox 360 and connect that via HDMI but didn't know if I could get audio while I had HDMI on so I came here for help! I asked the Sennheiser tech support if I could get the headphones to work with my TV and Xbox and they told me this
"In order to use the RS120 system, your TV needs to have a red and
white audio output. If it does not, you can use a digital to analog
converter to connect it to the digital audio output. As far as the
Xbox, it depends on your TV's circuitry. Some TVs will mute the
analog audio outputs when you connect HDMI, some will not. You will
want to call your TV manufacturer and ask if the analog audio
outputs will work for a device that is connected HDMI."
If anyone could help that'd be great! Thank you!

Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer - I have an Apple ID and my wife has an Apple ID - we both have downloaded movies and TV series to our Apple accounts - hence why I'd like to be able to switch between the 2 accounts. I understand that I'd have to switch between the accounts, but I only seem to be able to load one account on my Apple TV, so I literally have to sign out of one account and then sign in with the other account which is just a little irritating. From what I was reading when I was trying to figure this out, it looked like you could have a primary Apple ID and a secondary Apple ID loaded onto Apple TV, so switching between them would be fairly easy - I just don't seem to be able to add accounts. Please see the image below from one of the answers I found online - but my screen doesn't have the Add New Account option for some reason?

  • How do I hook up external speaker to macbook pro

How do I hook up external speaker to macbook pro?

The external speaker needs to be active - have it's own power source and amplifier - then you can just hook it up with an appropriate cable from the headphone output socket of the Mac.  If you want to go wireless, you would need to get an Airport Express - probably overkill - or get a bluetooth dongle that could be hooked to the speakers input.
If the external speaker is passive, you would need to attach it to a HiFi and hook the Mac up to the input of the HiFi.

  • Toshiba TV/DVD combo 32SLV411U - listening through wireless headphones?

I hope I am posting this in the right place. I couldn't find a specific board just for tvs?
I have recently purchased a Toshiba TV/DVD combo 32SLV411U. I really like it but have an issue.
The best way to go about this I guess is to tell you what I hope to be able to do.
First, I will say I did call Toshiba tech support and they said it couldn't be done and advised I buy a sound bar.
I am not 100% convinced they fully understood or that a sound bar would solve the problem.
The tv model I have does not seem to have a separate headphone jack. I does obviously have the rear hookups for the rca type cables.
While watching a DVD (unhooked from cable box, in DVD mode) I want to be able to have the tv totally silent.
I live in an apartment complex and don't wish to disturb neighbors. I want the audio from the DVD to come through to the wireless headphones only. This does work when the TV is hooked up to the cable as the sound comes through the cable box.
It seems to me I should just be able to attach the rca audio cables to the back of the TV and listen as I have described above. But I can't get it to work no matter what configuration I have tried. I don't know if I just need to set things up differently or what. When I go to menu and look at the options, it doesn't seem to give me many choices in that area, unless I am looking in the wrong place.
Can this be done without me buying anything extra? If so, how do I set it up to do this correctly when watching a DVD?
If I do need to buy something else, how does a sound bar work and would it solve the problem?
Or should I look for a stand alone DVD player with audio hookups in back (that kinda defeats the purpose of
having a TV/DVD combo but might be a less expensive option.
I guess I should've taken a second look at the features before purchasing the TV combo. I just assumed that with the audio hookups in back it would work. I had no problems with the previous TV/DVD combo I owned, but it did have a headphone port. In the meantime, I am watching DVD's on my PC.
Any information or advice is truly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    > I hope I am posting this in the right place. I couldn't find a specific board just for tvs?
You could not find a right board because this is a Toshiba computer systems user to user forum.
However maybe I could help you:
    > While watching a DVD (unhooked from cable box, in DVD mode) I want to be able to have the tv totally silent.
I live in an apartment complex and don't wish to disturb neighbors. I want the audio from the DVD to come through to the wireless headphones only. This does work when the TV is hooked up to the cable as the sound comes through the cable box.
In my case I connected my HiFi directly to the DVD player using RCA cables (red/white chinch).
Furthermore the DVD player is connected to the TV via HDMI.
I can disable the sound on TV and can listen to the sound coming from the HiFi speakers.
If you want to use headphones, then connect this to the HiFi and this should help you :)
