How do I implement Drill UP functionality in my Request

Currently when I Drill-down from parent ( Hierarchy1_id) , request shows up all its childrens ( Hierarchy2_id). How do I rollup to parent again ?

The best way to achieve this is by using report navigation. Create Report1 with the parent column and Report 2 with the parent column and child column. In the parent column of report 1 have the report navigation set to Report2. In the child column have the navigation on child column set to report1. This will achieve the drill up like functionality. Else, just use the return link if you have only one level of drill.

Ulrike - I would do this in the SQL statement (there may be other ways).
Presumably START_AFA and ND are table columns?
Presumably you've also created the GETANZGJMONATE function?
So, something like this should work (this also assumes that START_AFA is of a DATE type - you'll need the TO_DATE call if not):
SELECT COL1
, COL2
, START_AFA
, ND
, GETANZGJMONATE (START_AFA, ND, :P302_GJ)
from TABLE
where ...
Can't remember if you have to grant any particular execute permissions on the function ('grant execute on GETANZGJMONATE to public', for example) when you call it from SQL on a page, but you could try that if the function call fails.
Depending on what's in :P302_GJ and what the function parameter data type is, you might need to use the '&P302_GJ.' syntax or TO_NUMBER etc.

Implementing drill down functionality for BI reports

Hi All,
We want to integrate some BI reports in EP. What we want to achieve is:
Display a graph (eg indicating sales revenue) or table in the iView
Upon user click, drill down the report to view by various criteria.
Using VC, we managed to implement drill down using a 'button', i.e. user selects the row or region in graph and clicks on a button to trigger the drill down.
We want to improvise on the interface for triggering drill down. Instead of having to select a row and clicking on the button, can we trigger drill down using context menu (using right click of mouse) or alternatively, clicking on a row or column in the graph? Would appreciate any inputs on this or alternative methods of implementing this. Thanks!

How XAI implements 'get more' function in CC&B pages

There is a 'get more' button in CC&B page if you list more than 50 records, just clicking the button when I wanna get last records , but how should i implement the same function by XAI, I have researched much time about this issue and gotten nothing. so had Anybody here encounterd the same issue? and have solved it?
any help would be appreciated.

The get more function works in the browser becuase there is a seperate "list" servlet which retrievs the data. It relies on certain HTTP context data for correct operation. Unfortunately the "get more" function is not supported by the XAI Servlet (it does not about the HTTP context data). Your only option is to roll your own paging mechnaism for the data you require.
The pattern goes likes this...
1. Work out the SQL for what you want to paginate
2. Create a new "List Service" class that will act as the underlying service
3. Annotate the service with inputs which include the page size, and the page number you want to retrieve
4. Annotate the service with a list data that will be returned
5. Use the page size and page number to create and execute the query and build the return result
6. Register the service as an XAI Inbound Service
7. Deploy the code
8. Test using Dynamic Submission

go to SE41 and copy the LISTE status of RFWERE00 to your Z program. Also save the ALV layout similar to the standard program. This will create drill down.

How to implement a callback function using LabView's Call Library Function Node?

I am trying to call a fuction from a SDK.dll library using the Call Library Function Node. The SDK was provided to
me and I do not have the source code, just the .dll and .h files.
The SdkSetPropertyEventHandler function has a callback fuction as one of its parameters. How do I implement the
callback using the CLF node? I am a good LabView programmer but this is my first time using the Call Library
Function Node. I have read all the info I can find on NI's web site and the discussion board but cannot figure
this one out. I am using LabView 8.6.
The SDK.h deacribes the function as:

Basically you do not do that. LabVIEW does not know pointers and certainly not function pointers. What you should do instead is writing a C DLL that implements the callback and also exports a function to be called by LabVIEW that translates between the callback and a LabVIEW user event. Look for PostLVUserEvent() here on the NI site to find examples how to do that.

Drill down can be done by two ways.
1. you need to bring all the data in one shot to the spreadsheet and then by using the components you can achieve it. Below given link explains in detailed about that.
