How do I import LDAP directory users for assigning devices in Configurator?

I have the Apple Configurator up and running and it is working well. However, I would like to import my user list so that I don't have to manually add 150+ users to assign devices. Is this possible?

In short:
Step one - Sign into your LDAP server in system preferences.
Step two - in the Assign view of Configurator click a + and start typing user names, it should fill with users from your server. I assume it's possible to add groups at a time. These are pretty good guides also:

another LDAP directory, or another solution ?Are you looking to manually update this information or are you looking for a way for users to be able to interactively maintain passwords and admin to maintain roles in real time? Another possibility is keeping seperate corporate ldap and an application ldap instances in sync (ie - user has 1 password for all network apps maintained in corporate ldap, but application ldap has application specific roles and such which cannot be stored in corporate ldap). Clearer definition of exactly what you need here would be useful.
If the first case, there are ldap utilities which work with ldif files to handle this - should be able to google it to come up with what you need - ldapmodify I think.
If you are looking to be able to maintain the data from the application, likely you'll need to figure out your security model and build the interface to update this information. It can be done from the web app, from a standalone utility, or whatever works best for your situation.

How do I create admin console users with full access to configuration and the directory in every instance?

I want to be able to create directory user ID for the iPlanet administrators. They should be able to access the admin console and all the instances created. They should be able to configure each instance and directory. I was able tocreate Admin Server Administrators but they were only able to modify the directory(tab) and not the configurations(tab). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Keith,
In o=netscaperoot, edit the static group called cn=Configuration Administrators, ou=Groups, ou=TopologyManagement, o=NetscapeRoot - this group contains the admins peer to your config admin. Since the console is quirky and doesn't let you add in users not in netscaperoot, just click advanced and put in the full dn of whoever you want in by hand, e.g., uid=scarter, ou=people, dc=mydomain,dc=com as a static member. then rebind to the console with the full dn and passwd, and away you go :)

You should convert the media to QuickTime. Without knowing any specifics most likely the simplest way is to use MPEG Streamclip.

In a different words,
When a virus attacked your body your blood cells instantly goes into operation. Just like that -> your trigger activated as a result of your DB operation on objects. So, here also you have no option to manually intervene anything.
Hmm... Looks like some science fiction movies ultimately pays some price... ;)
So, trigger basically fires implicitly as a result of any database operation on objects or even on user.
So, that has to be automatic. And, when you are using & it will ask for some input value - which cannot be done in case of triggers.

Ok, so you want to remove data (contacts, bookmarks, calendar etc) from other users from your iCloud/Apple ID?
If you want to use your ID for your family because it is the account everybody uses to buy stuff then you only need to ensure that your apple ID is set up in the store (settings-store) and then the users of each device and put their own apple ID in icloud/message/facetime/etc.
To set up your device, in my opinion, it is best to back up to itunes, and then plug your new device into itunes and "set up as ..." and select the backup from your device. This will import all your data/settings and your new device will be set up just like your old one.
I am not certain about using the same payment method for more than one account.

my family has 2 iPhones 1 iPad 1 Macbook and 1 iMac. I had all the devices set up with one iCloud under 1 Apple ID. I'm not sure what they told your at the Apple store, but each Apple ID can only create a single iCloud account. If you want separate accounts for all these devices, they will have to be created using separate IDs. Note: you can do this and still share the same ID for other services such as your iTunes store account. The iCloud ID does not need to be the same as the ID used for other services.
To create an account, go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with a different Apple ID. If you want to migrate a copy of the current iCloud data to the different accounts, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the devices keeping the current account will not be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.
