If Edit > Presets > Migrate Presets does not work out you can save the Photoshop CC Actions as atn files and load those in Photoshop CC 2014 from the Actions Panel’s fly out menu.

You don't import catalogs, technically you 'convert' catalogs.
If you are on different computer, you don't 'import' either: as mentionned by Ned Murphy, you have to create a backup folder (generally on an external drive) and to restore to the new computer or drive. That restores both your picture library (tree) and your catalog.
If you are on the same computer, the catalog manager dialog you mention offers a 'convert' button. When installing PSE13 on the same computer, the installer should find your active old catalog and prompt you to convert it. If you have missed this step, you can still search for the old catalog folder by browsing to its location. Is that what you have tried without success? -

You would really need to export copies from the Aperture database, to folders on your hard drive and then import them into Organizer.

I have tried using the creative cloud but it is pretty much a useless feature when it only imports PSD's as JPG, deleting all the layers.I believe that PSDs imported into PS Touch simply are flattened; they are not converted to JPG. I think this was done to protect the integrity of the app. (The number of layers available in PS Touch are much more limited due to the hardware. It's like 16 I believe vs. the theoretical thousands or so layers in Photoshop.) You can, of course, do the reverse (save as PSD in PS Touch and have the integrity of the layers preserved in Photoshop).

I put the flash drive into my laptop, selected " add file to library", selected the songs I wanted from the flash drive, and it looked like they were added as the names show under " recently added". Then I removed the flash drive from my laptop But when I select one of the songs and try to play it a message saying "the song could not be used because the original file could not be found. Dragging the files to "Automatically Add..." is pretty easy once you know where to look. Just make sure iTunes is running when you do it; otherwise the files will just sit there until the next time you open iTunes.
(Interestingly, the way you originally tried to do would have worked fine except for one little detail: you have to first go into Edit > Preferences > Advanced, and check the box for "Copy files..." If that is not done, iTunes will reference the files on the flash drive, which of course are not accessible once the drive is removed, as you saw.)

There is nothing to export or import.
The correct process to backup the iTunes library would be to copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the computer to the external drive. -

How can I import HDV-Files from a CF-Card (recorded with the Sony HVR Z 7E) to Final cut Pro Version 5.1.4 – is this possible at all?
I managed to import the files to Premiere, but it was just a test. I am working at a very huge documentary project with Final cut Pro Version 5.1.4 thats why I would prefere not to change the program or the version.
Simply exporting from Premiere back to final cut is also very complicated.
Thanks for any ideas.First, copy the card to a hard drive connected to your fcp workstation. I always back up all card based media at least 2 or three times. All hard drive will eventually fail. It's a question of when, not if.
I'm not familiar with this particular camera, but examine the contents of the copied files and see if you can find any .mov files. You can try importing these directly into fcp.
If you don't, you can try something like clipwrap

But, I'd really advise upgrading to at least fcp6 or ideally fcp7 if you can find a copy. HDV is a problematic format. Although you can certainly work with it and it's a fcp approved format, converting your media to prores would make your life much easier. -

Thks for the contribution. However, it seems I cannot solve my problem with the kindly proposed solution.
Let me rephrase my problem:
I off-line prepare, organize photos and also add manually individual photo captions with PE12 Organizer. In the properties panel, I can check that the photo properties (including captions) are properly associated with the photo.
However when I upload on Revel -directly with PE12 Organizer (selecting Share/Private Web Album)- these individual (accordingly captioned) photos or albums, I cannot find the photo captions (i.e. the photo caption did not directly show up with the photo in Revel). This obliges me to a double work by copying and pasting each photo caption.
Is there any plan to get rid of that ?
Let me add that I am using the French version of PE12

RAW photos files in sony A300 are saved as "*.arw".
any one can help?This is well known bug. One day Adobe will recognise that with the best live view system (A350/300) and best usability (A700) they need to take the Sony DSLR's seriously.
Use the Import function, but use "choose files". Your CF card (in Camera or reader) will just be another drive. Navigate down to the folder with the pictures - control+A, choose selected. Then choose copy to new location and import (safer than using move).
Don't forget to tick the backup box.
