How do I import photo's from my samsung galaxy S2

How do I import photo's from my galaxy S2

A 2009 iMac can't run Classic operating systems.  If you are running Mac OS X 10.8.5 or earlier, look at http://www.markspace.com/ software.
If you are running Mac OS X 10.9 or later, try adding the bluetooth menu and connecting to the phone to browse the device directly through Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Bluetooth.  Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac to find your operating system, and then pick the correct forum here:

  • How can I import photo's from an older iPod to my new iMac ? I can do "import" in iPhoto, but the system does not "see" my iPod, even if it is connected to the iMac

I bought a new iMac. All photo's from the old iMac are on my iPod. The old iMac had a problem, due to which I could not transfer photo's. So I am trying to import the photo's from my iPod to my new iMac. But this does not work. The new iMac suggests to replace the content of the iPod with the content of the iMac, but I want to do just the reverse. When the iPod is connected to the iMac, the iMac seems to ignore the iPod. Probably because the iPod was first used on the old iMac ?

Photos on the iPod are not stored in standard formats, but in formats that are optimised for the space annd screen size of the device. So, unless you have specifically chosen to save full size images on the iPod - and have set up disk access for the job - then it's not going to work.
There are apps that will recover photos from iPods. Have a search on MacUpdate
But the best solution is to get the pics from your old Mac somehow.

  • How do i import photos/videos from sony memory stick pro duo stick to my imac

I want to import photos from my Sony memory stick pro duo to iMac. My imac has SD card reader but not sure whether it reads photos from memory stick pro..
i bought this iMac in May 2011. I believe this model doesn't support Memory stick pro..can some one clarify ..thanks.

    The short answer is.. No.
    You need one of these...
... Or if your Camera allows for it, you can connect your camera to your Mac via mini USB cable. iPhoto should open automatically once it detects that a Digital Camera has been connected.

  • How do i transfer my contacts from a samsung galaxy to an iphone 4s

    Hi
My wife has just got an iphone 4s and wants to transfer her contacts from her old Samsung Galaxy to her new 4s. Is there an easy way to do it?
    Regards
    Matt

Recently, many Android users decide to change from the Android phone to an iPhone, and they want to transfer the useful data from the Android phone to iPhone. It is easy for the Android users to export the media files, such as music and movies from Android to computer, and then sync with their iPhone.
But for the contacts or text messages, many Android users will feel confused. In fact, Android users can take advantage of Gmail (or other emails provide contacts sync function) to transfer contacts from Samsung Galaxy to iPhone 4s. The following tutorial will show you how to do it:
Log in Gmail on your Android phone, and check the “Sync Contacts” option (If you are first time to use this method).
Start Gmail on your computer, and then choose “Contacts” in the left sidebar.
The Contacts will be synced to Gmail automatically. You will be able to see the contacts in the “Contacts” page.
Create an Exchange account, and then log in it on your iPhone. You will see Contacts in the main interface. Check it and the contacts will be synced with your iPhone.

I've acquired a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It takes supherb HD video 1920x1080. But when I attempt to import the clips in Premiere CS4, I get the unsupported file error message. • How can I Import photos directly from Mail into iPhoto?

Prior to updating to Lion, when viewing photo attachments within Apple Mail, I could do a quick preview of attached photo(s) within the email and click an iPhoto icon that would import the photos into iPhoto. Something has changed now when selecting "Quick Look" I do not get an option to send the photo to iPhoto. Am I missing somthing or is this feature no longer available with Lion/Mail?

Not sure if this helps or not. I recently installed Lion for my mother, and she couldn't figure out how to export photos in an email to iPhoto. Turns out she had to click on Details in the upper right corner of the email message. Then the Save and Quick Look buttons returned. If you click and hold on Save (possibly on the triangle on the right side of the button) there is an option to save to iPhoto.
I haven't upgraded to Lion myself yet so I can't answer your specific question regarding saving to iPhoto from the Quick Look preview.

  • How can I import photo notes from Canon Zoombrowser to iPhoto?

    Hi all,
I used Canon Zoombrowser on various PCs before recently changing to a Mac, and have years' worth of photos all painstakingly annotated using the Notes field in Zoombrowser. When I import these photos to iPhoto there is no sign of the content of the Notes field. (In an ideal world, I guess it would automatically appear in the Description field.)
I know the Notes field info is stored with the .jpg file, as it's there when I copy photos to other PCs and view them using Zoombrowser. Just wondering if anyone else has faced this problem, and what to do to fix it? Don't want to lose years' worth of notes!
    Thanks
    Anna

    Anna
Welcome to the Apple user to user assistance forums
I have never heard of Cannon Zoombrowser - in doing a google search on it it appears to be a proprietary program for processing movies
iPhoto works with photo standards - if the date is in industry standard EXIF or IPTC fields - http://www.controlledvocabulary.com/imagedatabases/iptc_naa.html - they are correctly processed in iPhoto - if they are in non standard fields then iPhoto will not handle them
So the answer is that it depends on if Cannon Zoombrowser handles the data in a standard way or not

  • How do you import photos from a library on an external drive to the current library running in iPhoto?

How do you import photos from a library on an external drive to the current library running in iPhoto? I have a few different pictures in each library and would like to have all my pictures in both libraries. The library on the external drive is my backup. I would appreciate any help.

Depends on exactly what you want to do.
Just move some of the Photos? FIle -> Export from one and export the shots to the Finder. Then import them to the other.
    This User Tip
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4921
has details of the options in the Export dialogue.
Move the photos and all versions and metadata: use iPhoto Library Manager it's the only way to do this while preserving everything. Merge two Libraries into one?
If you have Aperture 3.3 or later and iPhoto 9.3 or later you can merge libraries with Aperture.
Otherwise the only way to merge Libraries is with the paid ($20) version of iPhoto Library Manager
