How do I include photos taken after Jan 1st 2013 in PS CS 6 Bridge

I try to create a presentation of photos captured afrer Jan 1st 2013 via Photoshop CS 6 but they do not appear on the list of files. The same happens in Lightroom 4.3

I'm using Widows 8, trying to upload Jpegs on Bridge of PS CS 6 such as the following: http://images.photolight.co.il/photo/2013-01-30/717782.jpg
I downloaded your file and had no problem at all to add it to Bridge and view the metadata. I do use a Mac but don't see the relevance of different OS causing this problem for a regular jpeg file.
Have you checked your disk permissions and do you have read and write permissions for the disk and folder you want to add those files in?

    Yes there is,
When you recieve a mail with an attachement (inline or as a picture) right click (or control click) the attachement and choose "show as symbol" or "show fullsize" (or completely or something like that, I don't work in English version). Mail will take this as a general preference.

  • How can you find photos taken today when connecting to pc

You screwed up the software for any one using the Iphone as their camera, I used to use it constantly, but now I can not because of the way the new software recategorized my photos. The sub file folder names are totally useless to any one downloading to windows computers. Now I am forced to use another device an actual separate camera because of your screwing with the software handling of the photos. After all of your commercials about how people were using their Iphones as their primary camera, now you have made it useless to anyone using a PC to download their pictures!!!!!

Even after transferring all of my photos to my computer and deleting off of Iphone, as soon as I take additional photos and it creates another photo folder under the DCIM that has meaningless combination of letters and numbers but it still has the same date of 01/06/2014. This is stupid to say the least. When you create a new folder it should have the date created or modified not some obscure date that is meaningless. And if it creates a new folder every day with the same meaningless info (name and date)then it renders the Iphone useless as a camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While not elegant you can use this method to find the latest photos relatively quickly.
    1. Open DCIM folder on the iPhone with Windows Explorer.
2.. In the search bar type in an * (asterisk).
    3. This should display all of your photos including the date they were taken from all folders.
    4. Sort photos by date to locate the date range you need.
    5. Right click on any photo in the date range and then click on "open file location"
This should open the folder with all the files in that date range. If the photos have been split over 2 folders then repeat the operation for the first and then the last in that date range. Also note that for some reason you cannot drag and drop nor copy and paste from the search results. You need to open the containing folder.
Hope that helps until Apple fix the problem!!!

  • Photobooth won't display old photos taken after cache cleared

Hi everyone! My cache was accidentally cleared last night (I was working on cleaning my computer out, d/led Cocktail and I guess it did it automatically) and all my settings were reset. Everything has been put back to normal, except for my Photobooth-- it won't show any of the old photos taken in the app itself! It just says "No Photos", even though all the photos still remain in the user/Pictures/Photo Booth folder. When I take a new photo, it shows up in the folder right next to the old one so I don't know what the probem is.
Is there any way I can make the photos show back up in the application? None of the folders are locked. Stupid Cocktail. Thanks for your help!

I couldn't say exactly what Cocktail might have done, but it sounds like you've lost a small index file (~/Library/Application Support/Photo Booth/Recents.plist) that Photo Booth uses to keep track of pictures it takes. If you can recover that index from a backup, that's the quickest approach.  If you have no backup, here's an explanation of how to rebuild the index by hand, https://discussions.apple.com/message/13176433.

  • How do I export photos taken in an Iphone or Ipad Camera app and retain each of the photos location data?

I know this question must have been answered somewhere but I must not be searching for the right terms because I haven't been able to find clear instructions. I am using iPhones (4s) and iPadminis on IOS 8/8.1. I run ITunes on a Windows PC.
I want to be able to export photos which keep their metadata/exif data, including the location data that is acquired when the photo is taken. I have location services turned on for the Camera app. When I view the photos in the Photos app it appears to have kept some location services because it accurately identifies the place the photo was taken. How do I export these photos so they retain that location information?
I have previously exported the photos by using the iphone and ipad as an external hardrive and just copied the files off the devices. When I open these photos in windows explorer they do not appear to have maintained more than the time the photo was taken. They do not show any location information in third party software like Picasa or Geosetter (My previous experience has been exporting images from a non apple camera and then syncing it with a handheld gps to update the exif data). I don't find syncing photos through Itunes very intuitive.
What are my options? What are the solutions? If you have a solution can you please explain a little about what is happening to the files and the metadata/exif data at each stage of the process.
    Many thanks,
    Clare

    Export the project to iTunes
Copy the project file to your computer
    Rename <File>.IMovieMobile as <File>.zip
Extract the contents of the .zip file
Your photos and clips will be in the Assets folder

  • How to fix disorganized photo albums after IOS 8.3 update

After I updated to IOS 8.3 my photo albums on my ipad are all disorganized AGAIN!!  This happens every time there is an update.

After updating to IOS 8.3 last night (4/9), my selected albums I want on my iPhone are there, but it added a bunch of others that shouldn't be. It seems to have created albums using photos from the selected albums I already had, so now I have more photos mostly duplicates & more albums. Those additional albums don't match the photos that are to be in them. Weird. Apple please fix this pronto!!

  • How do I restore photos taken on dec 13?

Took some photographs on December 13. Deleted some of them a few days later. Backup on icloud happens via wifi.
Would like to know if there is a way to retrieve the deleted pics please? Thanks

Photos in the camera roll are included in a backup to iCloud, however, the only way to get them back is to reset the iOS device (erase everything) and perform a setup and do a restore from the iCloud backup.  A note of warning - many users have lost photos that they thought were in a backup and weren't.
    IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream.  If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered.

  • How do i retreive photo library after upgrading from '09 to '11?

I upgraded my ilife '09 to ilife '11 and seems to be that my old library is missing and all the photos.  I already owned a copy of Filesalvage which found the photos but were they completely unorganized.  How can i get the photos back and organized?

If you've had to recover them with File Salvage then you'll need to make a new Library and start over from scratch.
Wouldn't it be better to restore from your back up?
    Regards

  • How do I find Photos taken in a particular time zone?

Hi, I have several hundred pictures taken in and around Calgary Alberta. Lots of the pictures have the correct time but the wrong time zone (GMT instead of MST). If I batch change the time zone from GMT to the correct one the times get changed also and are out by 7 hours. If I then change the time using the Adjust Date/Time meta data menu the time zone changes back to GMT!
So I changed the time by 7 hours and then batch changed the time zone and it works.
Now I need a way to find all the pictures that have the time zone of GMT in amongst the hundreds of correct ones. I have tried smart albums but cannot find a way to filter for time zones - Help!
    Thanks
    P.S. I am using Aperture 3

Thanks so much for your response.  I tried that though and it did not work... any other suggestions?

  • HT4890 How do you retrieve photo's after having to restore when iPad had gone into a 'coma' ?

My PC ' s motherboard has gone and then blow me the next day my iPad goes into a coma . I went to apple store who restored it for free , brilliant service, however my photo's have not come back!! So I need to know if you can retrieve from iCloud without the need for a PCM ?

It is designed to be synced to your computer regularly.
It is not a stand alone device.
You should regularly import any pics and vids to your copputer as you would with any digital camera.
"Shouldn't iPad have an automatic back-up or a recovery mode that will restore its data if gets accidentally lost? "
Yes.  You import/sync everything with your computer and back it up with your regular backup of your computer.
    Your pics/vids are gone.  Sorry.

  • I am looking for an app for my iPad that can be used to record field work information in a specified format, with the ability to draw diagrams if necessary, and include photos taken from the iPad.

Any suggestions for apps that could do this?
It will be used to collect field notes for daily use on a biological field study site. It would be optimal if the information could be collected in a manner that can be moved easily into excel as well. Most of the data will be qualitative descriptions, and some of it quantitative numeric (time stamps etc). We want to make it extremely easy for the user to enter information, such that we will set up a template and the technicians can fill out the individual fields in that template with minimal software knowledge required.
Hope the community can recommend a few apps to test out.
    Thanks!

I looked at Bento and at first glance I think it would do everything I want it to do, then I saw a review or something from a customer that indicated the information in Bento could not be exported (say to send out a mailing).  I may want a program that can do that as well, is there one out there? If not it does look like Bento will work.  When you save a picture to a customer in Bento can you open it up full size?

  • HT1483 how do i get photos back after a recent update on my ipod?

I just came back from a family reunion and took SOO MANY pictures. When I came home I just decided I should update my ipod touch but I didn't realize it would restore. So without saving my pictures prior the update its all gone. I REALLY need to get those pictures back.Any help?

On the computer go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices. Is there an iPod backup listed with a date of when you started the update? If there is then restore from that backup. But first go there and turn off autosyncing, other wise that backup might be overwritten when you connect. To turn off check the box that says prevent iPods...syncing." If not then there are likely gone unless these work:
Recover files from iPod Touch | Restore data iPod | iPod touch undelete, unformat
iPhone Recovery Stick - recover deleted text messages & more
No user has posted that they work however.

  • How can I store photos already taken in iCloud?

Can you only store photos taken after you set a photo stream? Or can I store all of my pictures?

You would only need extra iCloud space if you need the space for large backups, or backups of multiple iOS devices, or if you save lots of iCloud email with large attachments, or store lots of iWork documents, etc.
You can store your photos using a different cloud service such as Dropbox, or any of the numerous photo hosting services such as Flikr, Picassa, Smugmug, etc.  Music purchased from sources other than the iTunes store has to be kept in your iTunes library on your computer if you want to be able to access it on your iOS devices.
