How do I increase my game FPS?

World of Warcraft's in game FPS is very low, and in raid environment where multi-player spells and graphics are going off I even have frame lock ups.
Searching around on google, I found limitless tip and tricks for Windows users, but nothing for Max OS X users.
Any tips or info on where to look would be appreciated.
Somethings I found that could cross over to mac from pc users (but I don't know how to do):
1. Somehow telling your system to use all cores at high setting (as to one used and one playing it cool)
2. Disabling power efficiency settings, allowing your computer to max it performance
3. Marking the Program (ex:World of Warcraft) as high priority for CPU processing

for 3d games u can always set the graphics to medium but, it will make ur game lagg at certain point, but it all depends on ur hardware, u either upgrade ur mac to something better like
16gb RAM DDR5
NVIDIA with at least a 2 to 4 gb of Graphics RAM
Quad-Core i7 3.6 to 3.8 GHz
( I know this is expensive but then again, this WILL MAKE YOUR MAC AND IT'S GAMING EXPERIENCE AMAZING AND FAST AS ****! )
You should update your OS X because it has those graphics drivers in them but, apple never tells u about the graphics update they feature inside those OS updates, trust me, i had skyrim and i have a 10gb RAM and with INTEL 3000 1000mb, that game lagged a **** lot, trust me, and at that time i had 10.8.1, i didnt know about other updates, just didnt get time. So as soon as i updated straight to 10.8.4, Skyrim never lagged! the driver updates were so good that it improved the FPS in all the games, from crappy ones like minecraft, to awesome games like Far Cry 3 or Dead Island Riptide!
so i really prefer a hardware update with OS X updates

OpenGL games fps going down after install Windows on RAID 0 on K9A2 Platinum

Description of problem :
The problem was showed right after installations Windows on RAID 0.
When I had one HDD, the problem was not.
The problem was showed on both integrated RAID controllers (both on SB600 and on Promise T3).
When I play games (just games in OpenGL!!! for example conter-strike 1.6, Quake3, on Direct3D such problem is not present), and simultaneously I copy (or other users on FTP:)) a plenty of small files, game frames per second going down.
If to stop copying in current of minute, frames per seconds goung up.
If in 2-3 minutes, will help only restart game.
Processor type: "AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (Brisbane)"
Motherboard: "MSI K9A2 Platinum, AMD® 790FX and SB600 (+ Promise T3) Chipset, AMI BIOS v1.3"

I have established last version Dual Core Optimizer.
Tried to clean in boot.ini a key /usepmtimer and reboot has helped nothing.
The similar problem was on absolutely another motherboard (Biostar nForce570SLI) and hdd (Hitachi 80GB) with the same processor and Windows. But , installation Dual Сore Optimizer and a key/userpmtimer has helped.
What reasons of a problem?
How to eliminate a problem?

See that? You went from single disk to RAID and then the problem started...... I guess it's not very hard to conclude that one is related to the other. Just try to use single disk again an and see what happens.
Then: did you have two disks installed before going to RAID-0? Or did you add one disk for that? If so, then your PSU may be the troublemaker, not providing enough juice to feed all devices.

Okay so I figured out the solution by reading other discussions. Basically you need to delete on your phone the icloud account and start up a new icloud account with a new email address. This is nice because you can still share apps without getting everyone elses things. The only thing that didn't get worked out was the notes...
On your phone go to settings and then icloud, scroll down and delete the account. Then just make a new icloud under a new email.

As eww said, that computer isn't specifically made for gaming. To get advanced graphics in a game, your computer needs what is called a "discrete" graphics processor, or GPU. This means a seperate chip that processes graphics. In Apple laptops, these are only found in the 15" and 17" MacBook Pro. It is not common to find these in laptops in general that are not expensive and high-end. What you have in yours is an "on-board" or "integrated" GPU. This means that graphics processing is done by a small portion of your main processor (the Intel i5 board). This takes away a portion of primary prossessing and dedicates it to graphics. This works perfectly find in most scenarios, but video rendering, gaming, and 3-D graphics tend to suffer. Most high-end, modern games require discrete GPUs to run at full quality these days.
As far as running Windows 7 and Mac OS both, yes you absolutely can. If you install Windows 7 via Bootcamp (this would require you to have a Windows 7 CD), when you turn on your computer it will default to opening up in Mac OS. But if you hold down the Option key (bottom of the keyboard next to the Command button) while the computer is booting up, it will ask you if you want to open Windows or Mac OS.

I would guess that the HDMI port on your mac is for output only - no input, and that's what your'e attempting to do when you attach the mac to your xbox. I looked in Mactracker and it lists the HDMI port as video output for both the 13" Retina MacBook Pro and the 15" Retina MacBook Pro (your post didn't say which one you have), so looks like that is the issue..

My performance is very slow when I run graphs. How do I increase the speed at which I can do other things while the data is being updated and displayed on the graphs?

I am doing an an aquisition and displaying the data on graphs. When I run the program it is slow. I think because I have the number of scans to read associated with my scan rate. It takes the number of seconds I want to display on the chart times the scan rate and feeds that into the number of samples to read at a time from the AI read. The problem is that it stalls until the data points are aquired and displayed so I cannot click or change values on the front panel until the updates occur on the graph. What can I do to be able to help this?

It may also be your graphics card. LabVIEW can max the CPU and you
screen may not be refreshing very fast.

Preferences/Compsing/set to Rich Text (only then you can use bold etc).
Then Rightclick the toolbar in Mail, and clcik Customize the toolbar.
