How do I increase voice volume on calls

Can anyone tell me how to increase the caller volume please?

If this is a new phone, make sure that you have removed the shipping plastic off the face of the phone.
To increase the volume, use the toggle switch on the side of the phone.

How can I increase the volume when I make the phonecalls. I already tried the normal method like press the slide volume button but it doesn't work.Is there any other methods to solve the problem?

Did you try that while on a phone call? Also there are different volumes for different devices. If you have your earbuds in and set a volume that will change the volume for when your earbuds are in. If you have a bluetooth headset you can set a volume for that.

Are you sure you increased the caller volume? This is only adjustable while in conversation. So, while you are calling you'll see a few icons on your screen and one of them is to adjust your caller volume.

  • How do I increase voice speaker call volume when ...

    Hi
    http://www.bootstrike.com/NSeriesN95/faq.html
I have got my brand new N85 8GB, I tried the suggestion (197) in the link above to increase voice speaker call volume when I am in a call, but it did not work, neither for the "Speaker" nor for "Handset".
    Any suggestion ?
    Thanks

You should increase volume during a phone call with volume keys, unless your keybord is locked during conversation. Try to talk with your phone slided up (open keyboard) and try to increase volume with your side volume controls.
    Good luck

  • How can I increase the volume of my text alerts without increasing call volume??

The alerts that are pre-programed on my phone for text alerts are very quiet.  When I turn the volume up so that I can hear them then my call volume is embarrassingly loud.  I have tried to get new tones in the store but they all seem to download to my ringtone - not text tones.  I have even purchased (from the Verizon store) tones that are for texts, but again, they download into my call ringtones.  Any suggestions would be great since I am a big texter and am getting very frustrated because of missing so many.

        @Halon,
I know how you feel! Text messaging is my main means of communication so I use it all the time. I definitely don't want you missing any important text messages because you can't hear the alert.
Keep in mind that the volume level will increase or decrease the same for both calls and text alerts. You may notice that the ring tones options for the text messages are not as loud as the ones for calls. Unfortunately, there is no way to increase the volume for the text alerts without increasing the volume for the call alerts as well.
One thing you can try is turning in the Vibrate mode so the phone vibrates also when you receive a text messages. Visit http://vz.to/1aflRJ0 for steps.
Keep me posted if you need further assistance.

  • How do I increase the volume?

When i hear the song through headphones on Garage Band it is loud. But when i export to
ITunes and burn to a CD the volume is down too low. How can I increase it?

There is no problem. It is the fact that you need an extra step in music production to finalize a commercial song. THis step is called Mastering. It is basically applying multi-frequency compression, limiting and EQ to your mix, to raise the overall volume and to enhance the sound for any stereo configuration.
If you look and the master track in GarageBand you have EQ and Compression that you can use to get higher volumes (by reducing peaks), but the one GarageBand provides is not very good. I recommend using something like Ozone from Izotope or T-Rakcs.

  • How do you increase/decrease volume on an iTunes song?  Also, some songs get cut off before they are over.

This is in reference to Follow Up 286560206; under the control tab on "Libraries" the drop down indicates that a song can be increased in volume by pressing ctrl + up and decreased by pressing ctrl + down, but no matter how I try it nothing happens.  Also, some songs get cut short, and once I saw an option on how to lengthen the play time on a song, but I can't remember how to get back to this screen.  Thank you.

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

  • How can I increase the volume on an audio track imported from a GarageBand project, beyond the  11

I have an audio track, mp3, originally recorded in GarageBand, but with an recording level set too low.  I've now adjusted the volume in the audio track to the max, but during playback it's still rather quiet.  I have to turn the volume on my Mac to the max to have it at an acceptable playback level.  Is the any why to increase the volume on that track any further?

  • How can I increase the volume on my iPhone 4s using external speakers?

I used to have the iPhone 4 and I played my tunes through my PC external speakers (like using a pair of headphones). The maximum volume was extremely loud, and I never put it on full blast.
Recently, I upgraded to the iPhone 4s, and I've noticed a huge difference in the maximum volume - it is about 30% quieter than my old iPhone 4, and it sounds incredibly quiet while I'm using my external speakers, even if the speakers are at full.
I've also noticed that there is a Max Volume Warning which shows white/yellow/red volume bars when I turn the volume up - also my iPhone 4 never had. I believe there is a EU Volume Limit on iPhones, but I cannot understand why there is such a huge difference between the 4 and 4s.
Which also bugs me, is that my friend has recently upgraded to the iPhone 4s too, and he doesn't have the same problem as me. I tested his iPhone using my external speakers and the volume was much louder than mine. So we checked over all of his settings and compared them with mine, and they are ALL the same. Plus, neither of our iPhones are Jailbroken.
Does anyone has a solution to this? I can't find an answer anywhere..............
    Please help!!!

The volume buttons are on the left hand side of your device.
    Top one is increase
    Bottom one is decrease.
Once they are at the maximum/minimum that is all you can do.
    Good Luck

you can control volume on your handset by pressing the middle navigation button in the middle to the right to increase or the the left to decrease volume.
your headset sometimes also has a dedicated volume control on it's side , check that.

Take a look at page 272 in the manual. In each channel strip there is the word "Inserts" and a little down arrow. If you click and hold a menu appears which contains a list of presets. There are predefined mastering settings under "01 Final Master (stereo)" and so on. I find these are more than good enough for demo's or as a place to start tweaking.
