    I have an existing lightbox,and I want to add an image (trigger) at the beginning of the sequence, displacing the other triggers/ images to the "right", or "down".
    Alternatively, is there a way to re-order the sequence of the triggers/ images on the page?

    Hello,
    You can add the new image and after that select the trigger and Drag it to the left of the first image.

  • Inserting a character at the end of a paragraph IF the next paragraph is a certain style

    Hi,
    I have found a section of a collegues script that will insert a bullet at the end of a paragraph if the PREVIOUS para is styled with a certain style, I have been trying to modify it to work if the FOLLOWING paragraph is a certain style instead but as I am not sure how the "insertionPoints[f[i].index-1].appliedParagraphStyle.name" part of it is working I have hit a brick wall. Can anyone shed any light on this?
    thanks
    myDoc = app.activeDocument
    // This part checks if "News text para indent" is followed by "News title regular" and inserts a bullet
    app.findGrepPreferences = null;
    app.findGrepPreferences.appliedParagraphStyle = "News text para indent";
    app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "^.+$";
    f = myDoc.findGrep();
    for (i = 0; i < f.length; i++)
        var inser= f[i].insertionPoints.length
      if (f[i].parentStory.insertionPoints[f[i].index-1].appliedParagraphStyle.name == "News title regular")
    var bullet =  f[i].parentStory.insertionPoints[f[i].index+inser-1].contents="\u25CF"

    OK thanks much,
    So to do that, do i begin by highlighting the last frame (the last frame of the movie itself - actual film image) on the timeline, and go to main menu and select Insert>Timeline>Keyframe?  Then insert stop(); on the last frame via the actionscript panel?
    Then highlight the first frame and insert the setTtimeout() and  play() onto the first frame?
    I inserted the stop() command on the last frame and the clip now stops...
    I tried adding this script on the last frame and clip stops but does not repeat after 5 seconds...
    stop()
    setTimeout(5)
    play();

  • How do I insert a title in the middle of a a clip?

    Hi! I am new to iMovie - I have figured out how to put a title at the start of a clip but how do I insert a 'title' in the middle of a clip - I guess like a new chapter heading - I want it on a background/title graphic like the ones you select  rather then as text over the top of the video?
    Hope that makes sense .... many thanks

    Hi again Rhonda,
    This article from iMovie Help will give you a bit more information on splitting clips:
    http://help.apple.com/imovie/index.html#mov3a61cda3
    You can access Help by clicking on Help in iMovie's menu, then select iMovie Help. In the window that opens, firstly click on the Get Started tab, then on the Browse Help tab when you are ready for more detailed instructions. Be sure to view the video tutorials, where available.

  • How do I insert an underline to the right of a label

    How do I insert an underline to the right of a label

    Gen,
    With all due respect, you should support that. Not having this option in renders FormsCentral pretty much unusable for my organization. Boxed fields are not appropriate for printed forms. Underlined fields are an option when creating a form from an existing document, so why not when creating a new form in FormsCentral? At best, this is an oversight. Or, it is part of an attempt to force me to purchase a Livecycle Designer license, which sadly is no longer included with Acrobat. If this is indeed the case, then you should know that (pay attention, texas001) the tedious but less expensive workaround to this is to:
    1. Create a form in FormsCentral;
    2. Save theFormsCentral form as PDF form;
    2. Print the new PDF form to PDF (yes, print the PDF to PDF);
    3. Create a form based on the printed PDF;
    4. Format fields as underlines instead of outlines.
    Regardless of the reason, Adobe has succeeded in a) devaluing Acrobat, and b) inconveniencing its non-power users. Poorly done.

  • Does anyone know how to add a preface page at the beginning of the book in ibooks author once the book is written? No matter how I try to add a Preface page, it goes to the end of the book.

    Does anyone know how to add a preface page at the beginning of the book in ibooks author once the book is written? No matter how I try to add a Preface page, it goes to the end of the book.

    Thanks. I've tried this and apparently the template I'm using is one of those where it doesn't work. I've tried dragging it as well as cutting a pasting but it always travels back to the end of the book. Maybe I can try changing the template temporarily, move the preface page, and then convert back to the original template. I'll experiment a little.

  • GREP: Bolding a title in quotes at the beginning of a paragraph

    Hi,
    I trying to use GREP within a paragraph style to bold the title of a listing at the start of a paragraph. I want to limit it to the first set of quotation marks, and leave any other characters within quotes in that paragraph un-bolded.
    I used the expression below, which i thought would start at the beginning of a paragraph (^), left quotation mark (~{), any character, any number of times (.+), followed by a right quotation mark (~}), followed by a space (\s), zero or one times, shortest match (+?).
    ^~{.+~}\s+?
    Unfortunately, it bolds everything through the next right quotation mark. (See sample below).
    What can I add to the expression to restrict the GREP to find just the first set of quotes? These would be titles that may have multiple words or numbers in the title.
    Thanks in advance!

    If you want to use GREP, try this one:
    ^".+?"
    or delete the space from yours
    ^~{.+~}
    I can't say why, but your expression worked as soon as I took the space out of play.

  • How can I insert a table in the header?

    The question is easy: How can I insert a table of one row in the header.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jesús.

    There are multiple versions of Pages in circulation on Mavericks and Yosemite. Telling us which one helps with a more accurate answer.
    If you are referring to Pages v5, then you cannot insert a table into the header or footer, because implicitly, these are table cells too. The discontinued Pages ’09 v4.3 would allow table insertion in the document header/footer fields.

    If its Ebiz, concurrent program.
    Put this in your template in the starting,
    where the P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID is one of the concurrent program parameters,
    <?param@begin:P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID?>
    and then you can access the parameter in your rtf like <?$P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID?>
    Upload the rtf template back into apps.

    In Lion, the Character Viewer shows many more options for different characters than SL.  Of course, it displays Latin, but, as I scientist I often need to insert Greek characters, but I cannot find Greek characters in the Character Viewer.  I don't otherwise need to select Greek as a language.  Inserting Greek characters from some applications like MS Word still works.

  • How do I insert a page in the middle of a section in iBook. The insert always puts it at the end of the section.

    I am writing an iBook, and I need to insert a page in the middle of the section without disrupting the layouts on the following pages.  I keep trying to insert, but it always sticks a new page at the end of the section.  Is there any way to add a page, or move pages around in an iBook?

    Using the thumbnail view on the left, select the page you want a new one after, then right click and choose 'Insert Page'....that should do it.

  • Inserting other project at the beginning

    I have created two separate iMovie projects on two separate computers. The first is all set to one song. The second has three separate songs, but is all one in one project. I want to insert the first project at the beginning of the second project, including the song. I plan on copying the first over to my external drive which already has the second project on it and then opening both projects at the same time on the same computer. I know I can copy all of the clips and paste it at the beginning of the second project but when I do that the clips all move over but the music stays just as it was and the music from the first project doesn't come over with it. How do I do that?
    Thanks!

    I read below and wonder if this is the best way to do it:
    "Or, you can save each movie as a QuickTime Full-Quality movie, and open a new iMovie project and drag the QT movies into it. You cannot edit these in the same way as the original iMovies. The QT movies are new movies with the sound/video you put in when editing them the first time. This method will give you a very smooth playback. It will require more free space as you are basically making a copy of each movie. However, once you have created the QT movie, you do not need to save the original iMovie, and can delete it to free up hard drive space.
    Then, you can use the QT movies to make your DVDs, either separately,or as one long movie.
    One thing to remember: if you made chapter markers in your original iMovie, they will not show up in the QT version, so you will have to create them again."

  • [JS] (CS2) How do you insert pseudo tags around italic text

    I need to find all the italic text strings wherever they occur (tables, headers, footers etc) in an InDesign CS2 document and insert a pseudo-xml tag before and after each string (something like
    before and <\I> after.)
    I'm positive this must be possible but my limited experience has failed me so far.
    Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
    TIA
    Doug Neale

    With many thanks to the experts, I managed to sort out the table slant problem. For the benefit of all our many readers, here is the complete solution tested with a multi page document hosting all sorts of text and tables. It's quite long because I believe in plenty of comments.
    // make sure we have at least one document open
    if (app.documents.length == 0) {
    // warn operator and exit immediately
    alert("There are no open documents.");
    exit();
    // OK if we get here, we have an open doc
    myDoc = app.activeDocument;
    // set up start and end tags
    startTag = "#.";// should really be "
    endTag = "#:";// should really be "<\i>"
    slantTagCount = 0;// initialise our two counters
    italicTagCount = 0;
    // If we are going to search/change something, we use preferences
    // So, the first thing we have to do is clear them out;
    // they're application level properties; see pages 567 and 568:
    app.findPreferences = null;
    app.changePreferences = null;
    // use the search() method to search entire document for italic fonts
    myFinds = myDoc.search('', false, false, undefined, {fontStyle : 'Italic'});
    if (myFinds.length != 0) {
    // myFinds will consist of an array of references into the text of the doc
    // each reference pointing to a run offset
    // run the loop backwards so that if we make any changes to the text runs
    // it won't affect the array of references.
    // now add the italic tags
    for (var j = myFinds.length-1;j>=0;j--){
    // at each italic text run we want to insert
    // a pseudo xml tag at beginning and end
    // Adding the tags is this simple (end tag first):
    myFinds[j].insertionPoints.item(-1).contents = endTag;
    myFinds[j].insertionPoints.item(0).contents = startTag;
    italicTagCount++;
    // as the italic effect can also be achieved by applying a slant to each character
    // we need to check the whole document again, but this time we do it story by story
    // Finding slanted text--when text.skew is not zero, text has been slanted.
    // Unfortunately, what you want to look for is cases where this value is NOT zero,
    // and even InDesign's grep search can't find that (it can apply NOT to character classes,
    // but not to formatting attributes)--or, at least, I can't figure out how to do it.
    // So you have to "roll your own." Something like this:
    myStories = myDoc.stories;
    for (var jj = myStories.length-1; jj >= 0; jj--) {
    // loop through all the stories in the document
    myStory = myStories[jj];
    //Given a story "myStory"...
    for(var myCounter = myStory.textStyleRanges.length -1; myCounter >= 0; myCounter --){
    if(myStory.textStyleRanges.item(myCounter).skew != 0){
    //Found some slanted text.
    myStory.textStyleRanges.item(myCounter).insertionPoints.item(-1).contents = endTag;
    myStory.textStyleRanges.item(myCounter).insertionPoints.item(0).contents = startTag;
    slantTagCount++;
    // the above procedure does all the italic content in tables as well as ordinary text boxes
    // but only does skewed (slanted) text in ordinary text boxes.
    // We need to tackle skewed text in tables separately.
    for (var i = myStories.length - 1; i >= 0; i--) {
    // go through every story
    for (var j = myStories[i].tables.length - 1;j >= 0; j--) {
    // go through every table in this story
    for (var k = myStories[i].tables[j].columns.length - 1; k >= 0; k--) {
    // go through every column in this table
    for (var m = myStories[i].tables[j].rows.length - 1; m >= 0; m--) {
    // go through every row in this column to look at each cell
    myCell = myStories[i].tables[j].columns[k].cells[m];
    // introduce another variable to make next bit more readable
    myCellStyle = myCell.textStyleRanges;
    if (myCellStyle.length !=0) {
    // go through all the text ranges in this cell
    for (var myCounter = myCellStyle.length - 1; myCounter >= 0; myCounter --) {
    // check each range item for skew
    if (myCellStyle.item(myCounter).skew != 0) {
    // found some slanted text so tag it
    myCellStyle.item(myCounter).insertionPoints.item(-1).contents = endTag;
    myCellStyle.item(myCounter).insertionPoints.item(0).contents = startTag;
    slantTagCount++;
    // tell operator what we did, note that document appearance not updated until
    // alert has been acknowledged by operator.
    alert ("Italic Tag Count = "+italicTagCount+"\nSlant Tag Count = "+slantTagCount);

  • [SCORE] How to make an unfinished bar at the beginning of a song?

    I'm working on a song and I'm trying to get the score right.
    The song has an unfinished bar in the beginning; the song is in 4/4 but the very first note starts at the 4th count of the first bar. In the score, Logic automatically puts in a breve rest followed by a quarter rest (interpretation is on), but that's not what I want. At the end of the song, the "missed" notes complement the first bar (so it's in fact a 3/4 bar).
    My problem is that I can't look it up in the manual nor internet, because I don't know the proper English word for it (it's called "opmaat" in Dutch). Online dictionaries aren't helping me either... Sorry for that!
    I can of course set the signature of the 1st bar to 1/4 and make the last 3/4, but then you see the signature change as well in the score.I guess there most be another way to make an "opmaat". Does somebody know this?
    Thanks in advance!

    Maybe a stupid question,{quote}
    On the contrary ...!
    how do I dedicate a staff style just to the extra region at the beginning of the song?
    1 - Do you have a region that starts at the very beginning of the Track? Say bar 1?
    2 - Assuming you have a region starting from the very beginning of the song. Cut that existing region at the Right Hand point where you want your 'extra region at the beginning of the song' to end. This should now fit exactly to the rest of the Region on that Track, and when you open the Score Editor there will be a continuous stave of music.
    3 - This now can be treated as a discrete Region in its own right. Open the Score Editor on that Region and change the Staff style by going to Layout>Staff Styles
    4 - Click on New and a menu will open with a list - from that list select Duplicate - this will give you the same Staff Style as that instrument that was already on that Track.
    5 - Double Click the name and Type in your own Name ..say *Piano NEW* - then be sure to TAB out of the box.. Logic 8 does not allow you to change the name if you just click somewhere else. You can then make the changes necessary to that Staff Style as per my example ( ie no Rests)
    6 - You will then find that Piano New appears in the list of Staff Styles for use in any other situation.
