How do I insert images in HTML document?

I'm working on an old site and I want to use Dreamweaver to build new pages.
That site was not built with Dreamweaver.
I just want to open a new HTML page, build that page then copy and paste the code.
I have no problem with the text, but I have to insert graphics using their URL, not their location on my computer. I've tried, but I don't understand how it works.

Firefox (15) inserts a "Firefox HTML document" in Windows Explorer File New menu. It breaks my works patterns (Alt FWF stops working). Need to disable.

I often use the shortcut Alt FWF to create new directories on Windows.
When FF 15 is set as default it alters the File New menu from Windows Explorer.

This item seems to sabotage the above key combination. It intercepts the last F.

Since Folder usually is the top item on the new items menu, can you use
<br>Alt+f w Enter
until someone comes up with <s>a better workaround</s> an actual solution?

I would like to import or insert a pdf file (acrobat) into an
html document
and be able to write above and below the document. I have
copied the document
into MS paint and saved it as a gif file and inserted it that
way...Is there any more
direct way to do this? I have not been able to copy and paste

How to use add image in HTML tag

i m working on text chat application in adobe air.using <mx:html/> tag for dispalying text and images(smiley).but the font size fo flex is diffrent and html diffrent.i mean i m using 10 font size but it looks too large on <mx:html/> component.is there any way to cast them in same size.
The second and major problem is that it can not add images to html tag.when i m giving images like:-private var txt:String="<img src='src\smily\tongue.gif'/>" .
it shows nothing but when i give images through http path it shows images on html componenet.
can any body explain me the problem.

how do insert image as an indicator??
i want to read the image file from my hardisk.

Normally you would use a picture indicator. There's several VIs available in the Graphics & Sound -> Graphics Formats palette to read graphics files. You would then use the Draw Flattened Pixmap to create an image that you wire to a picture indicator.
To learn more about LabVIEW it is recommended that you go through the tutorial(s) and look over the material in the NI Developer Zone's Learning Center which provides links to other materials and other tutorials. You can also take the online courses for free.

The preview function does not open the message. If you select a message to open/view the message, any embedded images or objects that must be rendered from a remote server to be viewed included with HTML formatting will be rendered.

How do you paste images in Word documents?

Why when I paste an image into a word document does it often move the image to the top of the page.

Microsoft’s documentation for 2008 did not explain how to set defaults when using *command V* to paste into Word. The pic can jump to the top of the page no matter where the cursor is under some circumstances. Someone who speaks Mac may be able to address the defaults better than passing the buck to Gates.

Hi. I'm now trying to hook windows API to insert watermark image when printing a document.
It works fine with MS Word, PowerPoint, Notepad and Mspaint except Adobe Reader when I hooked EndPage API calls to insert watermark image.
And all the progress looks work well from the log but i can't insert the watermark image.
Then i tried it with another PDF viewer, it was work well except only ADOBE Reader.
Any suggestions will be helpful to me.

Ask in the Reader forum. However, the process should be a property of the print driver for your printer, not Reader.

i have converted a word to pdf.Now i have my text on the left and i have a image to be inserted on to the right. when i do insert the image just gets inserted in the center or on the top.

Bill is correct that you have probably the most control by placing your image on a button. However if you have Acrobat Professional you can use the Touch-up Object Tool to place a graphic. Simply choose the Touch-up Object Tool i.e. Tools > Advanced Editing > Touch-up Object Tool and then right-click in the area you want to put your image and choose Place Image from the context menu. If it is not in the exact place you should be able to move it around with the tool as well.

In this particular case, you don't want to parse the HTML but the RSS feed used to build this this page. The feed for this page is [http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/sci/tech/rss.xml]
RSS feeds are XML based so it's easy to parse them. You can do it by hand or use a specialized library. One of the well-known library is ROME ( [http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Javawsxml/Rome] ).
