How can I install additional Cloud Apps. The Icon on my desk top will not take me to the download page.

When I launch the app store, I get "minecraft." It will not allow me to return to the "featured" menu. I've tried rebooting / killing the app, but nothing has worked. Any insight?
I have also tried the fixes offered in this forum such as using the "Other" mail in setting up the gmail accounts, and not using the dedicated gmail setting. I also went to google and signed in and enable the additional devices. I had the same problems with the original account I set up for gmail, but it corrected when i went to using the "Other" instead of the Gmail button. I was able to set up the new gmail accounts on my iphone without problem and on my husband's ipad1 for his gmail account. Just the ipad 2 is giving me problems. Again, thanks for any suggestions.

my phone keep asking me to sign in to iTunes store and will not allow me to download apps. it sends a message saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" what do i do?
Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -

Jusat the other day i started getting prompted for Security Information required when trying to download apps. on my Ipodtouvh 4Gen. Typically when I download an app. I get asked for my apple ID and then it will allow the download. This new prompt pops up after it looks like the app is downloading. It gives me the option to cancel which will not allow the download or I have to select Security information. It then brings me to a screen where it asked for three questions but as I put the questions and answers in it bumps me back to the screen of the app I was trying to doenload. Any clues???
this has recently been happening to other people. We think that it is a fault at apples end of the line. However in the cases i have seen the problem fixes itself and it goes back to normal after a day or 2 you just have to wait!

I cannot download an Aust ABC news app. When I try a box comes up saying It is not in the Can store. I have tried to do it from Aus store but with the same result. I had the previus app on my Ipad for years. Asan Aussie living in Canada it would be great to get it back. Any suggestions?
LarrryhIf you no longer have an account in Australia, you can't download from the Australian Store. Having an account in any country means that you have to have a valid credit card in that is registered to a physical address in that country. If you no longer have an Australian credit card, you will not be able to buy from their store.

HT4623 My iPad will not allow me to download any apps
My iPad will not let me download any apps, also in the APPS STORE it shows a '1' meaning that there is one new update, it will not even let me update. Also when browsing some websites like BT, it shuts down and reverts back to the home page of all my APPS. Is this a hardware or software problem?

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

i updated to ios 5 today on my iphone 4 much to my dismay it cant stream radio apps i paid for anymore because it somehow HOGS the internet, but yet when i tried to play one of the multiplayer adventure games it is fine. i dont know if its an INDIVIDUAL app issue whereby i have to enable or disable something or something within the settings to do with the itnernet i need to change?
i cant even download apps on my iphone either it gives an error reading something along the lines of my internet; i connect at home with wifi and successfully stream music radio apps through my home speaker system; or i did do so before updating to this TRASH!. so i'm sure you can understand why i now ask to remove ios5 otherwise there is no point in me keeping the iphone, i have one year left on my mobile contract with orange to pay for.
i need to perform a downgrade, i have ONE back up from july which would be the ios4 version if i restore it using this back up file in itunes, would it definately remove the ios 5 and put the ios4 backon my iphone ?

That said, millions people have updated to iOS 5 without experiencing the problems you report. Why don't you try some basic troubleshooting before you resort to drastic measures.
Restoring from your backup will NOT revert the phone to iOS 4.
First, try to reset all settings. This will re-set the network settings and clear any personalization (wallpaper, custom assigned ringtones, etc.) but you will not lose any data.
Then, try a simple re-set. If that doesn't work, try restoring from your last backup. If that doesn't work, Erase all content and settings and set it up as a new device. It's possible one or more of the apps you are trying to use -
How can I install windows 7 using boot camp, if the partition will not format correctly?

I'm new to this forum and have had a chance to look around a little bit, but haven't really found an answer to the problem that I'm having.
I have an imac and I'm attempting to use boot camp. I have used it in the past, with prior versions of mac os x, but this is the first time that I have tried it with 10.6.8. The first thing I found out is that I can't use Windows XP, even with service pack 2 installed, because it doesn't find the "boot camp" partition. So, I recently obtained a full retail copy of Windows 7 and have been trying to install it. I have no problem with the boot camp assistant creating the new partition, 200 GB. However, when I insert the Windows 7 DVD and the computer restarts in the Win 7 install screen it tells me that I cannot install Windows on the selected partition (which I expected to see.) So I choose "format" the further format the partition. It doesn't ask me how I would like to partition this, but just seems to start. All seems to go fine until it finishes and i see the same message of "Windows cannot be installed in the selected partition." I can click on the format tab endlessly but it still doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas? I've called Apple and their technicians keep telling me that I need to reinstall the Mac OS again, which I've tried. It doesn't seem to help either.

There is the answer, right in front of us ....
Delete the bootcamp partition and start again the correct partition type is GUID but BootCamp should take care of that automatically so try again. -

Same problem here. Win7 32.
Only the process appears, but no browser window.
Just a wild idea i had. I do have one other issue with the same computer that also shows the 3.6.4 problem. It has to do with the folder app in Picasa. I mean the one where one can decide which folder needs to be scanned or ignored and so forth. Every time I start this Picasa freezes instantly. I tried numerous things already. Perhaps both those processes are somehow somehow connected. Just a wild guess though.
I will send the debugging info over the weekend. -

I tried to update my phone. The update didnt go all the way through, and ended up freezing the screen on my iphone with an itunes icon on it. I tried to reboot phone with no success...the icon stays on there with no other function of the phone available. Anybody know of a fix?
Put your iphone in dfu mode by doing this. Turn your iphone off. When its off, hold home and power button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button and keep holding home button for another 10 seconds. Then open up itunes on your pc and plug your iphone to your pc. Itunes should recognize your iphone in recovery mode and it will tell you to restore it. Click restore, and your iphone will restore. Remember that, if you do this you will lose everything that was on your iphone. You can restore from backup later on. Hope I helped.
