How do I install Adobe Acrobat as a Google Drive App?

Does Anyone Use Google Drive?
I started using Google Drive when I bought my Acer Chromebook last year... why?  I wanted thought a free 100GB Google Drive account sounded nice for just trying a Chromebook.  Ok... I can do a lot with my Google Drive, but why can't I edit PDF's?
Someone else out there has probably run into the same problem as me...
Google Docs doesn't seem to do what I need.  It allows me to import and convert my PDFs into docx format.  Why can't I just edit my PDFs and save in pdf format?
Can Someone Tell me How to Install Acrobat as a Google Drive App?
Thank You,
Paul D. Rangel

  • How can I install Adobe Acrobat without installing the browser extensions?

    Hello All,
I am a computer Technician at a high school and we have very strict browser requirements for different services. We need to use Adobe Acrobat to convert PDF's, and other tasks, and we need to use Chrome to open Adobe Reader files. The issue is that I want my 3 browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox) to open PDF files using Adobe Reader XI. All my plugin settings are correct to use Adobe Reader to open PDF's, but it either downloads a PDF to the computer, or opens up in the browsers default reader (Chrome does this), or opens up to a blank page with a blank error message. I went into the programs Internet settings for Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat and it's telling me the browser opens them up using Adobe Acrobat (With no option to change the setting). The problem is only solved when I uninstall Adobe Acrobat. Then I am able to open PDF's in Adobe Reader just like I want (but this gets rids of Acrobat). This leads me to believe that when I install Adobe Acrobat, there is a registry key or something that is telling the computer to open PDF's in browsers using Acrobat. My initial question is this: How can I install adobe Acrobat without linking it to the browser. I JUST want Adobe Acrobat as a program installed on the computer.
    Additional Info:
    - I build a computer image and use that image on several computers. This issue persists with all of the computers I installed the image on.
    - I am using Adobe Reader 11 (Now DC, but I am willing to use either) and Adobe Acrobat Pro CS3 (I think it's version 9?)
    Thanks for the help.
    - Charlie

  • How can i install Adobe Acrobat 11 in german language

    Hello,
    a simple question.
how can i install Adobe Acrobat XI Prof. in german language?
I have the donwload option for german and this will download the AcrobatPro_11_Web_WWMUI.exe.
      --> Acrobat Professional
    11.0
    German
    Windows
Acrobat Professional 11.0 WIN ESD D
When i start the installation with this donwloaded file i have only Enlgish as an language option.

    Hi Sukrit,
thanks, but that doesn't fixed my problem.
Now i have a language selection in the setup process. i select German, the setup/installation windows are in German.
after installation the application is in English.
i can't change the language in the preferences. there is only English. the option "Choose at application startup" will be ignored. also when i start the application as administrator
It is possible that our company license key is language specific?
i try a normal installation with key and one as trail version. the trial version is in German.
i see this language setup option only if i select trial version during the installation.
As information, the OS is Windows 7 Ent x64 English and the regional / location settings is Germany.
    regards

  • How do i install adobe reader on a flash drive?????

how do i install adobe reader on a flash drive?

I don't know if this will work; it will certainly not create a "portable" Adobe Reader.
But it may install on the flash driver, to be used only on the computer that installed it.
Download and run the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
On the Reader setup panel, click on 'Change Destination Folder' and select your flash drive.
Let us know how that goes; I am curious...

  • How can I install Adobe Acrobat 6.0 on Windows 8.1?

I originally installed Adobe Acrobat 6.0 on Windows XP. I've upgraded the OS to Windows 8.1 and have a compatibility error message when trying to re-install Adobe Acrobat 6.0. Any suggestions? Thank you. Roman.

Confirming the response you received. For the record, any version of Acrobat earlier than the 8.1 update of 8.0 simply won't properly install and/or run of versions of Windows beyond Windows XP and certainly not on any 64-bit versions of Windows.

  • How can I install Adobe Reader on my F: drive (Windows XP)

I have an old computer with a limited C: drive.  My F: drive is much larger.  I want to install Adobe Reader on my F: drive.  How can I do this.?

Assuming that you want to install the English version of Adobe Reader 9.3, download this installer
    http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3/enu/AdbeRdr930_en_US.msi
Run it, and once the installer is initialized, you will be presented with this panel
Click 'Change Destination Folder...' and you can specify exactly where you want it to install.

  • How to re-install Adobe Acrobat Standard XI after re-format my computer?

Hi,. I purchased Adobe Acrobat Standard XI last year and I re-formated my computer 1 month ago and all software have been removed from my computer including the Adobe Acrobat Standard XI. I would like to know how can I retrieve/ re-install it? I tried to log in to the Adobe website but not sure how to do it. I am using Windows 8.   I will be grateful if someone can help

http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. You can log into your account at Adobe (ID probably the same you used to post here) to get your S/N as long as you registered. When you are successful, be sure to backup the install file and your S/N to a backup HD and/or CD so it is available in the future.

  • How can I install Adobe Reader 11 to a drive other than C:\?

I downloaded Reader 11, but at no point during the installation process am I prompted for an installation location.  How can I install this to a drive other than the C:\?  I keep my C:\ and data storage drive separate so in the event the OS crashes I won't lose my data.  I have limited storage capacity since I'm on a laptop so I didn't make my C:\ very large, so that I would have more room for my D:\.  Any suggestions?
    Sincerely,
                    LT Gannon

having data on a different drive is a good idea.  installing programs on a drive different from you os containing drive is generally not a good idea.  but if you have the expertise and are sure of what you're doing:

  • How can I install Adobe Acrobat on my Mac?

This is the worst software purchasing experience that I´ve ever encountered by far. It has been 24 hours already and still I don´t have the software installed on my Mac. I sort of understand that I have to first install Acrobat Manager (totally nonsense) so that then I can go ahead and install the software. I am unable to install the Manager for Mac.
So the question is: Is there any easy way to download the software and get it to work?

    Hi masterfly1,
Please try downloading Acrobat 11 Pro from the direct download links available at: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X
and use the serial number/ Adobe ID to activate the software.
Let me know in case you run into any issues.

I am having a issue installing Adobe Acrobat XI.  I am running Windows 8.1. When  go to install it gets an error.  The error is with transform in registry and will not install product. I am looking at how I can fix this registry problem.
I have tried to uninstall all Abode Acrobat installations but one file remains and refuses to be uninstalled. It gives me this error : Error applying Transforms . Verify that specified paths are valid. It was installed on Sept 18 2014.  I have downloaded a Transform update but it tells I do not have a Adobe Acrobat product installed.

    Hi all,
Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.
    Please help !
    Regards,
    Vipul
