How do i install apple mobile divice on my windoes 7 i have installed and uninstalled apple a nimber of times on and it still wont work.
where can i fine apple mobile divice to down load as it wont download with itunes
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates -
I just attempted to update my apple iTunes to 11.1.4 which resulted in the msvcr80.dll error message. I followed all of the instructions to move the .dll's to the desktop, I removed iTunes via the control panel, and now I can't get past the Service 'Apple Mobile Divice failed to start. Verify that you have sufficent privilidges to start systems services. I now have no iTunes on my laptop, can't reinstall iTunes, and I am pulling my hair out because I can not figure out how to send an e-mail to Apple because I bought my iPad just over a year ago. PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes another user with problem with Apple Mobile Device Support, I am getting the error message: Service 'Apple Mobile Device'(Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Vertify that you have sufficient privileges to start system service....I hit retry and it came up again. I hit ignore and it prompted me to hit finish so Itunes can open. I looked thru alot of these posts on here to try and resolve this problem myself but it's not working too well...I downloaded Itunes to my desktop so I can right click it with the program i downloaded called WinRAR. I extracted it and then went into the folder called Itunes64setup. I saw the file called AppleMobileDeviceSupport64 in there so I began to try and download it on it's own. Well that didn't work as I planned and got this error message:
Apple Mobile Device Support wasn't installed on your computer. The installer encountered errors before Apple Mobile Device Support could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To retry these operations at a later time, please run the installer again.
Well I tried to run it again and came up with the same message...I see that some people got great support to help them so I am hoping someone can help me as well. I know "b nor" is very qualfied and hopefully can help me! Please advise what I can do. Thank youHi Iss9243,

Why wont the new version of aperture work with Nik complete software. I uninstalled and re installed Nik and it still wont work.
I believe that Nik is having trouble adhering to Apple's "identified developer" requirements.
there is a FAQ on Nik site regarding problems with their installers.
a guess.

hi , i have a 4th gen ipod touch and it runs on 4.3.5 but it wont let me update it to 5.1.1! everytime i try to install it..it says "sorry your network timed out" and wont let me! i tried so many times and it still wont work.. what to do?
Disabling the computer's security software (firewall and antivirus) usually resolves that error.

how do I view the photos ? I backed up with iPhoto closed as recommended but when I enter the Time Machine and click on iPhoto library it calculates there is 11gb in there so files must be present but when i click on open with iPhoto nothing happens ? any help welcome please !!??
The external hard drive must connect to your Mac using a USB or FireWire connection.
Note that the hard drive must be formatted in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) to work correctly with the iPhoto Library and be backed up to the Time Capsule and with the backups of your Mac.
We are really talking about iPhoto uses here, so you should post in the iPhoto Support area for more details about this. The link is just below.

Hi, I need to install Adobe Flash Player because the version I have installed in my Mac Os is old, but I can´t do it because I need to write my email and my password and I don´t remember my password, so what can I do? Thank you
The email and password will be the ones for your computer's security, not something for any Adobe product. You might need to consult Mac customer support if you are unable to determine the required information.

Firefox 6 will not load when I click the icon. I have tried to uninstall it, both through the control panel and going straight to help.exe. In both cases nothing happens. How do I uninstall this program?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
See:
* [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]
* [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -

TS1424 Apple Mobile device does not show up after installing 10.0.7.21
Receive message "Apple Device not started". Apple Device does not show up in Adminstrative Tools, Services. Windows 7 64bit, IOS6.0.1.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if a component such as Apple Mobile Device Support won't install normally.

Apple Mobile Device Support Doesnt Seem To Be Installing With Itunes
Title says it all really, i have been doing troubleshooting on installing itunes on my computer which is running windows 7 ultimate (64bit) once i got it installed finally and plugged my ipod (touch) in it came up with the message "this ipod cannot be used because the required software is not installed" (i have reinstalled many times) & from previous troubleshooting i figure i should be re-installing mobile device support or something, but it is not located in my add or remove programs, which suggests that for some reason it is not installing with itunes and i desperately want to update my ipod.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.Huh. Well, might be a bit stumped here. Here's one last thing to try.
1. Plug-in your iPhone and uninstall the driver (Right-click it in device manager and choose "Uninstall")
2. Uninstall iTunes and all apple software.
3. DELETE the two registry entires we created earlier:
HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Apple Mobile Device
HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apple Inc.\Apple Mobile Device Support
4. Reboot
5. Re-download and Re-install the latest iTunes
6. Follow the steps in my Blog again, but this time, just put it in the same directory I had C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple
7. Reboot and try again.
Like I said, who knows, I'm not sure on this since I don't have a 64-bit version to test it on, but it's worth a shot, right? -
i really need help with that
