I have a Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard CD and I need to install it on my Mac Book Air. Please Help.

You cannot install CS5.5 Windows onto your Mac.
You must either purchase a new copy of CS6 for your Mac or join the Creative Cloud (and pay the monthly fee).
If you join the Cloud you can then install CS6 (and soon version CC) on both your Mac and Windows for the same membership fee.

Yes. You can install v12 on as many machines as you like, but only two can be activated at any one time. You should not be using them concurrently.

I understand you are unable to install the printer on Maverick.
I will be happy to help you.

Make sure when you add the printer it shows the printer's name and not Airprint.
(you might have to click the dropdown to select the printer's name)

Install Maveric using USB installer on a Mac Book Air 2.1 following a new SSD?

Mine Mac book Air 2.1 [2GB,128GB SSD, 2.13GHz] seem to suggest a need for a SSD replacement. Mt Mac book Air was shipped with Snow Leopard 2nd Sept 2009.
My question is is it possible to install Maveric OS X directly on my new SDD if I use a Maveric install USB that is created on another Mac Book Pro? Or Do I have to first install my Snow Leopard Disk that was shipped with my computer and update to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 combo v1.1 on the new SSD prior to migrate to Maveric OS X using my created Maveric USB installer?

I don't quite understand what you have done. But to use the SSD you must first partition it then format it:
Drive Partition and Format
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Security button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Once you complete the above, then quit Disk Utility and return to the installer. Complete the installation of Snow Leopard. When you have done that restart the computer from the SSD to see if it's working properly. You can then upgrade to Mavericks by re-downloading Mavericks from the App Store.
Only OWC can tell you if there is a firmware update for their drives. We have no way of knowing that.

How to re-install creative suite CS6 on a Mac.

I recently purchased creative cloud suite CS6 for my Mac Pro, 2009 model. I was very happy untill I noticed a small program called "clean up" or something like that. I ran the program to clean up my old CS5.5 versions of the suite thinking this would "clean up" my system and thats when the problems started. After running the program I then couldnt open any of the creative CS6 programs. They would start opening then give me an error message associated with loss of quicktime codecs. I then cleverly thought I would uninstall all adobe software then re-install the creative cloud suite. Oh no, apparantly I should have de-activated it first and of course I didn't. I tried re-installing from the cloud but it keeps saying " Download failed, administrator privilages required". I am the administrator and have been for ten long years. After some online research I then thought maybe its because I didnt de-activate the softwarebefore uninstalling it,(I am also running creative suite on my laptop). I de-activated it on the laptop thinking that Adobe would then let me download the software again onto my mac pro as the software can only be loaded on two computers, but no, it is still refusing to download. How do I do this people. I want to use all these very useful programs but can't. I am a small post-house and this is quite urgent as clients are waiting.

looking at the error message that you have recieved while downloading the product " Download failed, administrator privilages required" . This means that there have been some rights/priveledges issues on your macintosh because of which you are not able to download/extract/install any of the Adobe products on your machine . I would request you to kindly try the same under a new Admin user account (just a test account) and then check if you are able to download the same on your machine or not ?
You might also want to check the permissions on your /Lib and ~/Lib if you and every one has read &write or not ? If not , please give full permissions to your folder and the enclosed folder within.

You would not want to transfer it even if you could. Transferring doesn't work in most cases. You need to install using installation files. You can download those files (can only provide a general link since you didn't indicate the version)...

You will need your serial number to activate, which is normally on the disc case. If you registered the software when you originally installed it then you might be able to find it recorded in your Adobe account online in the My Products section.

The Creative Suite 3 I think was meant for Mac OS 10.4 at present we are on 10.8, which I think your new iMac must be having. As it is not tested on that Operative System (because it was not released then) I would not recommend your to install as you might face issue in the future as well.

If you still have your serial/activation, you can download it here: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html and then use your old activation info.
If you don't have them, and you registered your product with Adobe, you should be able to log in to the Adobe site and recover them under Plans & Products.
Adobe will only replace current version media: Obtain replacement CDs, DVDs, manuals
If you don't have the serial/activation and you never registered your copy, I'm pretty sure you're stuck with buying DWCS6 or subscribing to the Creative Cloud.

You can simply uninstall the software and then reinstall the software on the new machine.
The current serial number you have might not work as the activation server for CS2 softwares has shut down.
You will need a new license key to activate the software.
