How do I invite someone to an event on my calendar?

I want to invite someone to an event on my iPhone 4 calendar but the "invite" button doesnt appear when I create an event on my calendar the way my blackberry did.

Open the event, or create a new event. Under 'invitees' enter the email addresses and 'send'.

    How are you getting to full screen mode? I assume you are using Full Screen mobile add-on?
    Try the following instead:
    * Download Firefox Beta (v22) from google play
    * Navigate to about:config
    * In the search bar look for "dynamic"
    * Toggle 'browser.chrome.dynamictoolbar' to 'true'
    * Close the tab
    Now when using Firefox beta the navigation/loading bar will disappear automatically when you scroll down a page and will reappear when you click on a link.
    Please note that this is an experimental feature so there may be some issues. But I think it works better than the add-on. The feature will eventually come to the standard release version of Firefox for Android.

    Hi sesaeteurn,
    I have an article for you that will explain how to invite others to your calendar:
    Invitations - iPhone
    http://help.apple.com/iphone/8/#/iph82c5721ca
    Invite others to an event. Tap an event, tap Edit, then tap Invitees. Type names, or tap to pick people from Contacts. If you don’t want to be notified when someone declines a meeting, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Show Invitee Declines.
    Take care, and thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities.

  • How do you change color of an event in a calendar in ical

    how do I change the color of an EVENTt in ical

    PLEASE APPLE ADD COLOR TAGGING TO EVENTS!!!
    Um, color tagging events has always been a feature of iCal. Go into iCal. In the upper left-hand corner it says "Calendars." Go under "File" and create a new Calendar--iCal will give it a color, but you can change that. If you do this in iCloud, you simply pick "edit" and click on the color, and you've a huge range of choices as to what color you want it to be.
    So, now you've got calendars--the family events calendar (named "Family") the "Days Off" calendar and the "Appointments" calendar...each with their own color. You can see them all when you click on "calendars" there on the left-hand side. And, in your case, can create calendars for each person at your work to know when they'll be on or off work. "John's calendar" and "Susan's calendar."
    You create an event, and among the choices you have (date, time, alert, notes) is one that says: "Calendar." It will show the default calendar with it's color, but offer you up and down arrows to pick a different calendar (you can change the default calendar, by the way, under preferences). You use those arrows and pick "John" calendar and the "event" of John being on-shift from 10pm-10am on December 12th appears on the calendar in orange. Create an event and give it the "Susan Off" calendar and her time off will appear in green. Give several events the "appointment" calendar and they'll all be blue (or whatever colors you've picked for these things).
    Yes?
    Now whether you can sync your iCal to Google and match up the colors is a whole other story. But you can--and have for as long as I can remember---color code your iCal events.

  • How do you get a list of events in a Calendar in Mountain Lion?

    I use a lot of calendars in Calendar to organize events. I am trying to consolidate these calendars because I have been having weird issues such as two calendars being linked to each other in a strange way. I want to move events into new calendars and delete the old calendars once I am certain they are empty. To do this, I want to be able to list all events in a given calendar. (Not page through month by month.) You used to be able to do this by searching for "." This no longer works.  How can I get a list of all events in a single calendar?

    If you are moving from an On My Mac Calendar to another On My Mac calendar or to an iCloud Calendar, you can use this AppleScript:
    tell application "Calendar"
              move events of calendar "Source" to calendar "Destination"
    end tell
    When I tried to move from an iCloud Calendar, Calendar got a server error.
    Further testing and it will move to an iCloud, but not iCloud to iCloud. Also, it doesn't move, although it looks that way. Once you close and open Calendar, it has the events in both locations.

  • How do you schedule 3 week  recurring events in the calendar ?

    How do you schedule an event in the calendar every 3 weeks ? I work a schedule that reoccurs every 3 weeks.

    Unfortunatley there are certain repetitions that the iPad can't create. However if you make them elsewhere and import it onto the iPad, it'll respect it. So if you sync with a computer, make your appointment there and then import that onto the iPad and it'll be on your calendar.

  • How to count invited people to an event?

    Hi all!
    I have created an event on my iCloud Calendar and invited more than 100 people. They are responding yes or no, but I can't find a way to see how many people accepted the invitation and how many did not. Shall I count one by one all the answers...? Is it possible that there isn't an automatic count?
    Thank you for your help!
    Francesco

    Use SQL%ROWCOUNT.
    DECLARE
      v_num NUMBER := 0;
    BEGIN
    UPDATE table_a
    set field_1 = 'new_field'
    WHERE field_2 ='some_value' ;
    v_num := SQL%ROWCOUNT;
    INSERT INTO logging_tbl (step, description, changed_rows)
    VALUES('UPDATE', 'update of table_a', v_num);
    END;

  • How do I invite someone to my family cloud?

    I would like to add an Apple Id to my Family Sharing, how do I do that if i am not running Yosemite?

    This only works if your iCal is linked to a calendar server.
    To do this you need to go to iCal/Prefernces/Accounts  and follow the explanations.
    Good luck.

  • How to get updated and recently created events from google calendar in pl/s

    Hello
    I am able to get Google calendar events using pl/sql..I am receiving huge xml code(if there are more events),want only update and recently created events instead of getting repeated events.please help me in this regard.
    Thanks

    From the Google Calendar API online documentation:
    "Retrieving an event again
    If you want to retrieve an event that you've retrieved before, you can improve efficiency by telling Calendar to send the event only if it has changed since the last time you retrieved it."

  • How do I delete or edit an event on my calendar?

    When viewing the details of the event I do not see an "edit" button.  I tried swiping the event to get a MSG box asking to delete but that did not work either.  I'm having issues with iCal syncing through iCloud, wonder if this is related ?  Worth noting I can delete calendar events on my iPad just fine.

    Figured out this is just a functionality issue.  I can delete the app only on the device it was created.  Seems pretty stupid this is not possible!

    How can I change a group of events in one calendar/category to another calendar without having to do each one individually.
    Somehow all my business events are now personal events and would lihe to change them all back as a group and not one-by-one.
    Can this be done? ....I hope!
