There is no link for a solo upgrade. Do I really have to completely upgrade all my Adobe Suite from the last version because of the Creative Cloud?

This has nothing to do with CC. Suites always have only been upgradeable to suites. There is no way around it.

How to get after effects to be working properly

Im having some trouble getting after effects to work. Whenever i install after effects (Even as a trial), it sucessfully installs. But, whenever i open it, it alwyas says:
"please uninstall and reinstall the product.
Error: 5"
i already reinstalled it about 3 times already, but still no hope. I also have photoshop and dreamweaver, but they work perfectly fine.
Im on a mac running Mac OS X version 10.6.7. Model is apple imac mb950ll/a 21.5 inch desktop
plz help i have a school project and rlly need it

There is an application for Macs from Adobe that removes all traces of a previous install, which then allows a reinstall to go smoothly.
I don't know its name, I've never had to use it, I wouldn't know where to find it, I simply know it exists. I hope someone else with the actual knowledge chimes in.

I've tried to lower the quality, and with pure magic, it now works, even when I put highest quality. I don't understand what happened. I asked you how to disable openGL because they told me to in the last discussion. So, thank you for repairing my problem (I think you repaired it, i'll make tests to see). Just in case, could you verify if it's posible to disable openGL like the other person told me?

Just installed After Effects CC - now my Photoshop CC crashes on open

I just installed After Effects CC.
When I open Photoshop CC (has been installed for months working fine). It opens, but if I click anything on the interface, I get the spinning beach ball and it freezes.
I uninstalled After Effects CC using the Adobe Uninstaller in Utilities in Applications.
After uninstalling After Effects, Photoshop worked fine.
I re-installed After Effects, made sure it completed installation and ran all necessary updates.
Opened Photoshop - same problem - freezes on launch.
Please help! I need to complete this work today!

I have found a fix:
Go to this folder: User > Library > Preferences
Right click on the 'Adobe' folder and click 'Get info'
Click the lock in the bottom right to unlock this pane and enter your password
Under 'Sharing & Permissions', Give all users the "Read & Write" permission
Click on the cog at the bottom of this pane
Click Apply to enclosed items
Enter your password and voila! - Photoshop works as it should.
I hope this works for everyone else, too.

Not sure if any of you above have managed to solve your problem or not but after coming across this same problem myself today as I am currently 'sofa bound' I decided to make it my mission to find a way around it.
Initially I did think, having ready what seemed like a million questions and people with the same problem, that the only way was to buy OS X 10.5 ... HOWEVER, no. In among all these threads I found a jewel - Download I Tunes 9.2.1 which gets rid of the download itunes 10 advert and allows you to then buy from itunes again :-) I am now one very happy lady.
I apologise to all those that dont have older versions of OS X that maybe wont support even this upgrade but certainly for those like me with just 4yr old lap tops at least it means it not longer means buying a new one.
Hope this helps son very frustrated people like myself - so much for apple support!

Without proper system information and an exact description of what you actually did nobody can say anything. Sorry, but "I believe..." is just not particularly meaningful, especially since you mentioned that you had issues, which you also haven't explained.

Cant get after effects to install

Hi a bought Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 for the reason to get after effects but after i completed the installation the only application which did not download and install was after effects does anyone know how i can fix this as i only bought if for my work and it is a waste of money if i cant use it thanks

iPads sync to 1 computer only.
All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.

No, the trial version is identical to the purchased version in every aspect other than the time limitation. Besides, the boxed version will probably be LR 4.0 and then need to be updated. To cancel the time limit simply supply the registration key from the back of the box in Help/Registration.
