How do i keep album art from syncing onto my ipod?

I really dont care about album art and the extra space would be nice. Is this possible? I have the 10.3.1.55 version if that helps.

To delete tracks from an iOS device, swipe from right to left over the song an tap on delete. When using iTunes Match your song will still be available in the Cloud. Good luck!

Are you sure it's not 6.1.6? If it is, that is the latest iOS version that will work on a 4th generation iPod Touch. Later versions require a 5G iPod which has twice as much RAM.

I do want the emails on my device but not on the others. I also want to clear the email off of the other devices. Is their a way to do this without physically having the ipad in my possession. The ipad is with my daughter at college and i do not have access to that now. They are all syncing under my itunes account if that makes a difference. I did change the passwords on my email accounts but not sure what to do to fix this. Can anyone help?

You need to have a different Apple ID for each of the other devices.

Getting album art from itunes library to ipod WITHOUT re-syncing?

Okay, so...I've got album art for almost everything in my libraries thanks to the "get album artwork" feature and some lengthy searching and pasting on my part...but it appears as though there's no easy way to get all the artwork from the songs in my itunes library onto the same songs on my ipod--without syncing, that is.
That is a huge pain in the ***, and something I really don't want to do. I have a bunch of stuff on my ipod that I don't want to put in my main library (I have two computers that have different things in each of the libraries) and that I don't want to lose, which I would if I did a "sync."
I have about 25 gb of stuff, which would mean that even if I did want to add it back into my main library, it would take a **** of a long time to figure out exactly what I'm missing, move it over and then do the sync.
I realize that this is probably related to the idea that if you have stuff on your ipod that isn't in your library you probably ripped it off. BUT...this seems to be a pretty big flaw. Not hugely important, but annoying all the same.
Why isn't there an easy way just to sync up album art directly onto an ipod (vs. the itunes library) without stripping every song off my ipod first?
Any ideas/programs that people know of that can get around this issue?

This is really frustrating... I can't believe that now all my album art (and I mean ALL of them) doesn't show in mi iPod anymore...
What I did was uncheck the show art combo box, de-sync the iPod and then re-sync, then check the box again and then de-sync... It didn't work.
Is not use. I guess I'm gonna go back to my old iTunes 6, it worked better than this odd version.
As I said before, I think the look doesn't matter, it can have stars intead of circles and it can have whatever you want, but what I want is something that -WORKS- even if it looks like Windows 3.1...

Not a great solution, but you can completely remove the album art if you reduce the width of your itunes window.... as you reduce the window you get to a point where the artwork disappears.

I own some old cd's that I have imported into itunes, some from other countries. Some of these cd's are not offered on in itunes. Is there a way to download the art directly from the cd? Any ideas? I've already clicked "download album artwork" and it does not work.

There's no artwork on the CD. A tip for finding suitable artwork is to go to Amazon, locate the album, save the picture to your desktop and drag it to the iTunes artwork pane. Another way would be to locate artwork using Google image search and put the artist or album name and save the picture you find there in the same way. How do I extract album art from an existing MP3 file?

I have a folder of MP3s that all came from a rare out-of-print album. The album is so rare, I can't find an image of it anywhere on Google in any countries. I lost the cover artwork for the album, but it's embedded in the MP3 file because it pops up when I play the song or in the preview window. Fine good-resolution picture, too.

You need to delete the old artwork.
Dropping new artwork will simply add more.
Get info on a song and click the Artwork tab.

Each iPod has it's own settings, if you don't set the iPod to sync photos then they won't be added. You can set each iPod up however you like and they will update whatever you have chosen to update.

At a guess you'd have to make sure the "Display album artwork on your iPod" option is selected on the music tab, then drag and drop the tracks again. I don't really play with manual mode but iTunes might ignore requests to duplicate existing files so it might be that you have to remove the originals before you can copy in the replacements. The alternative is to switch to automatic sync of selected playlists. That way any changes you make in your library can be automatically reflected to the iPod.

How do I get my movie from iTunes onto my iPod?

The file is an .mp4 and I have my iPod nano (3rd gen) plugged in and I have the 'manually manage music and videos' option selected on the summary tag. The problem is when I try to drag the .mp4 movie file from the Library to the Devices >> Movies, it doesn't show up. I wait for a while for it to sync but when I check on my iPod its not there or in the tab.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
